Thanks,figge...mystery solved. Sounds like early Sabbath with a more melodic voice...bizzare. methinks they are a bit misguided with this,and perhaps why they haven't reached any kind of market outside their homeland (if they have even there?). I never would've guessed it was AF on the GOK tracks even tho he's not singing how I expected with his own band. It wasn't really quite as bad as I feared but yeah-- def not my thing. And-- WHUUU?? you don't dig the 3 GOK tracks he sings on?? For shame! I think they are FAB,along with most everything on BOTH of those albums. All very radio friendly from a hard rock standpoint,IMO. Very melodic,almost like a Dio-ish slant but rock radio potential there. The ones I struggle with just a tad are the Rick Altzi tracks. The guy sounds like Russell Allen with sandpaper in his vocal chords.. but he did sorta grow on me. What I'm waiting for is another Saffire album. Hope Victor and Tobias are writing for it---as you said moving to Frontiers. Good move! T
