Here is a big reason,for me at least.. We've heard it all-nothing new under the sun. So after all these long years, it's much harder to be real impressed by anything new. Or at least to the point that it will stick for a long time. That's because all the old stuff was new/fresh and innovative way back when. And-there wasn't as much new rock coming out constantly like nowadays. Over saturation plays a big part of our attention span for it. But it's still fun discovering anything new. It might be harder for us to be impressed like days of old,but--it's still worth digging for/discovering the gold that's out there. T
