Agree Bad Image (and Twilight Cruiser for that matter) were great but Master Seven would be my choice. Hugely underrated album right before they went that more computerised effects style...
Slow Down (believe maybe written during the second album sessions or thereabouts?) Bad I Am and the wonderful Roses that closes out the album are just a few off Master Seven that are IMO some of their finest tracks since In Your Face.
Speaking of which, if I were to list a top 10 from my fave period of the genre's heyday am very confident In Your Face would be there.
It was a band standing up against the flack they received off the back of the debut (whether fair or not, certainly not helped by the band's own comments I might add) and the aptly titled In Your Face was a defining statement, and rather magnificent.
I particularly loved the transition from opener Do You Like It to the epic and personal fave Who Do You Love. Two very different songs working perfectly together \m/
Great stuff!
That recent first three album collection looks very good and affordable. Might pick it up some time but already have the first two BadImage Remasters plus he Japan Remaster of IYF so would need compare before throwing out some more coin atm
Does the new 3CD set come with some tasty liner notes pics etc and how do they sound?
