Just discovered a stellar new band,for those who dig Southern Rock ala Blackberry Smoke,Skynyrd,Molly Hatchet,Outlaws,or any other rockin' Southern bands. These guys are from Texas,and I'm sure Preacherdude must've mentioned them in his lengthy lists of new bands to check out. So apologies if you've already heard them. They're called The Drugstore Gypsies,and they have 2 albums so far..the debut and one from last year called 'Easy Access'. I've listened to both twice now,and have them on order. what a killer find! Perhaps an edgier version of Blackberry Smoke might be the most accurate description. There is a youtube page that lists both albums (songs not in order)- 20 songs in all. Not a so-so cut in the bunch..all top quality songs. These kids deserve to be HUGE! Try 'em out if you dig Southern Rock....just click the first track on the right (youtube mix) enjoy, T
