The United States doesn’t have an exclusive on bravery, sacrifices and selflessness. This country has done a lot of good in the world, but it is far from perfect, and has pulled some major fuck ups as well. That’s the reality of American history, not some pseudo- nationalistic fairy tale where everything we do is wonderful and everyone else on the planet is only supposed to kiss our ass and say nice things. Responding to criticism with intolerant hostility is the same thing that an assclown like Trump does on Twitter all day- and just proves Andrew’s point.
