I've met Michael and I have to say that my experience was quite pleasant. Took a pic with him as well, didn't have to pay a dime. Chatted briefly. Total positive experience. Everytime I've seen Stryper in concert, it's usually right at the stage, and he's always been cool with not only allowing pics, but even posing for them. As far as his social media presence goes, yeah, he needs to develop thicker skin or just not read the comments. That being said though, I appreciate that he does interact and is not afraid to be himself instead of cower to the mob in fear of losing fans. One thing you have to take into consideration is that without Michael, there would be no Stryper. He rights all the songs, produces, and markets all that they do, as well as books the shows (with his wife). It all falls on him. That takes a tremendous amount of Type A personality to do that and do it effectively. So, when a fan disagrees or attacks anything to do with the band, I can understand his attitude after all the work he puts into it.
