Are there any other fans of the Irish legend on here?
I first fell in love with his music on BBC's "Rock Goes To College"
I was lucky enough to see him in his prime at the Reading Festival, then later in his career at the Birmingham Powerhouse.
To see him making his battered old strat wail with his trusty Vox AC30 powering him? Utterly magical!
He truly was 'The Last Of The Indepemdents'!
