I buy lots of guitar parts from the USA. Now...I can buy, say 10
Plastic Guitar knobs for $30, they weigh about the weight of a CD. My mate in NYC can bubble wrap them and stick them in a padded envelope and send it to me for $10. Ask the shop to send them, they want $40!
Ditto actual guitars in cases. I can get it sent for $150, the dealers want $400-600 to ship.
