Transport manager for Procter & Gamble 1971 - 1973. Worked in the
Education sector then until 1997, finishing as an Assistant Head for the final 7 years. 1998 until I retired at the end of 2010 was with the charity helping less advantaged young people, The Prince's Trust. I recruited, trained and managed a fantastic group of Business Mentors who were linked with young people starting their own small business enterprises.
Joined Fireworks magazine in 2000 from issue 2 and in due course replaced Phil Ashcroft as Reviews Editor until I retired from frontline writing for the mag on reaching my 65th birthday. Now recruit good new writers for the team, including Carl1 and RNRPREACHER1 above and also look after the subscribers.
I am just as busy now as when I was paid to work!!
