Hell yeah, second that in a heartbeat - as much as I love RAW, CAGI and Trouble, S&S is probably my favorite of the early Snake albums before they went more commercially directed with SII. In fact the only WS album of the first few that considerably weaker than the rest is Lovehunter. A few stellar songs aside, (and a classic too in WITSOTB) that one is the one from the early era with the most fillers.
So one might wonder if the (at the time) provocative artwork was intended to take some of the focus away from the music to mask an album that wasn't of the highest quality overall...?!?
Regarding SOTT I like the album, still it's not Cov & Co's strongest album and I fully back those saying that Vai wasn't the right fit for the Mighty Snake. I would place in in the bottom half, but there are some very strong tracks on it, like Sailing Ships, Judgement Day,, Cheap an' Nasty (love that riff!), Now You're Gone, The Deeper The Love - Lady Luck from the same sessions despite all it's Vai-isms ain't half bad either.
