I've hardly spun In Your Face, which is weird, given how much I enjoy the debut. It's also a little strange, considering that I've never really been a Zeppelin fan. I just liked the songs on the debut. The the tracks that sounded the most like LZ I tended to enjoy more than pretty much any actual LZ tune.
The barrage of criticism never really bothered me either - in fact, I'd say it was almost a source of amusement. As I've said before, for me, good songs are good songs. Originality is great, but a song/album/band doesn't have to be original to be good, IMHO.
Gonna have to dust off In Your Face - and Stone Fury as well - and see how they compare to the debut.
