Re: What is singly THE worst AOR/Melodic Rock album?

Thanks Peter for seeing my point - maybe I would have loved Excess All Areas with a different vocalist - its just that a great vocalist gives completeness to a good song.
And honestly, I'm not trying to 'wind up' AOR lovers by disliking EAA - I bought it on the strength of very strong recommendations and reviews - I spent my money on it and so wanted it to be so good.
Wish others would put their neck on the line to say what they dont like.
Anyway, Rondo - at least we agreed on ELO - Zoom (a lot on this thread love it) - I am probably one of the biggest ELO fans, but that album was so disappointing - again, maybe my expectations were too high. At least the last ELO album (Alone In The Universe) was very good. Even, arguably, weaker ELO albums like 'Secret Messages' and 'Balance of Power' had plenty of brilliant songs - I dont think Zoom had any.
