I agree you Gary about the whole "gun nut" thing. I was raised around guns, my dad always had them & we would go target shooting together. Never been hunting, just target shooting. He is 78 and still shooting in the pistol league. I also own a few guns, no "assault rifles" though and I have no desire to get one. I am far from a gun nut. Just a normal person who enjoys target shooting. That being said, there are a lot of people out there who own a lot of fire power & ammo out there and if there was a ban They would never be able to get it all. Our government needs to really start enforcing all the gun laws that are on the books. Too many plea deals and reduced sentences. SO many times I read about people committing crimes with a gun who are back out on the street in no time and especially convicted felons who get caught with gun (which by law they are can not have) just being given a slap on the wrist. This is a very serious issue here with no simple answer, but we need to start somewhere & we need to start now.
