I love both Roth albums with Steve Vai, Wardy. But he is exactly the right player for the vibe on those albums.
I also love the PIL album with Vai on it, there's some stunning work on that. I'm not a fan of his own albums, at all, but there's no denying the talent.....it just didn't suit Whitesnake imo.
