I agree 100%.
Grew up a fan of Bon Jovi and they used to be one of my favorite bands. I held on for way longer than I should've but they totally changed their style years ago and the old style isn't coming back. They are basically an adult contemporary band now that is best served playing on the warm radio sounds of a Doctors office or something.
A band like H.e.a.t is a young, up and coming band that brings me back all the stuff I loved about music. They feel genuine and are doing what they do for the right reasons.
Honestly, if somebody gave me the option of paying $100 and going to see H.e.a.t....Or paying me $100 with a free ticket to see Bon Jovi, I'd choose paying $100 to see H.e.a.t without a second though. Heck, I drove 10 hours in one direction to see H.e.a.t for MRF4...On the flip side, I was offered a free ticket to see Bon Jovi about 15-20 minutes from my house two summers ago and turned it down.
Sorry for the tangent as I know it's not about comparing Bon Jovi and H.e.a.t. I just think Andrew's review is meant to get the point across about how disappointing Bon Jovi has become and the review does that. A band with their history and financial backing shouldn't be putting out such crap.
