Parallel to the release of the AUDIOVISION album, NARNIA singer Christian Rivel with DIVINEFIRE pulls out the record “Glory Thy Name”. For this album, he was joined by Jani Stefanovic (AM I BLOOD) who took over the guitar work and parts of the song-writing.
Contrary to AUDIOVISION, DIVINEFIRE more focuses on bombastic elements and speed than melodies. Just imagine RHAPSODY would integrate more double bass into their own sound – and then you'll almost have it!
Based on a perfect production, „Glory Thy Name“ can be highly recommended to every Speed Metal fanatic who also doesn't mind a huge portion of harder edge vocals.
An impressive list of guests joined the team Rivel/ Stefanovic for the recordings of “Glory Thy Name” incl. Pontus Norgren (GREAT KING RAT) on guitars, Carl Johan Grimmark (NARNIA) on guitars, Eric Clayton (SAVIOUR MACHINE) on vocals and Thomas Vikström (TALK OF THE TOWN) on backing vocals amongst others.
This album is now available on Metal Heaven and will be released with the video for “World's On Fire” as bonus track.
