Today, we would like to introduce a new Swedish band to you which really deserves to hit the big spot: AUDIOVIOSION. Band leader and singer Christian Rivel might be familiar for most of you with his main band NARNIA.
AUDIOVISION are a melodic hard rock & metal band which originally was founded by Christian Rivel himself to fill in the breaks between the recordings and touring with NARNIA. It becomes obvious though very quickly that this is everything else than just another soulless project.
Producer and guitarist Lars Chriss (LION'S SHARE) definitely belongs to the best on this fields in Sweden, drummer Thomas Broman most recently showed his talents as a member of the band of GLENN HUGHES and bassist Mikael Höglund is the current bassist of British hard rock aces THUNDER. Guests furthermore include Tony Franklin (BLUE MURDER) on bass, Bruce Kulick (KISS) on guitars, Mic Michaeli (EUROPE) on keys, Jeff Scott Soto (TALISMAN) on vocals on one song, Mattias Eklundh (FREAK KITCHEN) on guitars and Eric Clayton (SAVIOUR MACHINE) on guest vocals. A line-up which won't leave any wishes left open!
Musically, AUDIOVISION offer a splendid mix of sounds based on the traditional Hard Rock and Metal genres which apparently also offers slightly progressive elements.
The CD now will be released all over Europe through Germany's label Metal Heaven.
