A Thin Lizzy double! A live album and a tribute album. This tribute comes courtesy of the team and band of players behind the excellent Whitesnake tribute album Snakebites.
Produced by Fastway's Lea Hart, this album contains the same quality as the tightly produced and big fat sounding Whitesnake Tribute and deserves to sit along side that record in your collection.
Vocals are provided once again by Steve Overland, Andy Barnett and Merv Goldsworthy - all of FM, plus Steve Grimmett, Bernie Shaw, Doogie White, Paul Dianno, Nicky Moore, Mick White and Lea Hart.
Musicians include Lea Hart, Rick Wills, Pete Jupp, Neil Murray and Bob Skeat.
If you are a Thin Lizzy fan, this is almost as essential as the new live album. Being a fan of the contributing players would help, but of course the main need is a love of everything Lizzy.
Indecently, the booklet and general packaging of this joint Axe Killer / MTM release is superb.
BOTTOM LINE: Another one for the tribute fans out there and naturally all the Thin Lizzy fans. Great production and a solid rhythm section, as the songs speak for themselves. A variety of great singers make this an enjoyable album. One of the better tribute albums in circulation.

ESSENTIAL FOR: Most Thin Lizzy fans and fans of Tribute albums and the players involved.
