I felt myself like writing this comment today..better late than never just 'cause i went back reading about this tragic nite early this morning and i found this page where you could be able to write a comment...so i am, i don't exactly know how those parents, sisters, brothers, children are holding up so far after quite some time but all i know the extreme pain they must be putting up with after losing someone they really cared about, my prayers and support go out to all of you who lost loved ones to this fatal fire.
Sincerely and respectfully..Eloy Posada of Johnston,Rhode Island
If they had only had the chance to open up "Dr. Metal's" chest, they would have found that he had a heart of gold. R.I.P. Mike Gonsalves. Your life and the impact that you had on others will never be forgotten. Peace brother.
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who was either in or affected by this. This is such a tragedy but it looks like the former manager of Great White is going to jail for it and the club owners.
i see a lot of people slamin the night club owners. is it not true that if any ones two blame its all that were involved ?. i think great white was as negligent as the owners.any one that would expect two lite up a ten foot spray of sparks at an eight foot tall celing coverd in foam rubber would you not think this guy or thease guys are not just as responcible ? or even more so shure it was an accident.. but if you let your friend drive drunk are you not just as guilty when he gets into an accedent?.... of corse you are you cant just walk in to a place burn it down and say he said i could .dont get me wrong i love the band but befour evry one slams the owners of the club let the courts decide its a terible lesson and my heart goes out two all the survivers and the victoms familys who will live so much emptier lives because of some irrisponcible act that should have been stoped befour it started . life is precious....god bless all even the bar owners and band members
i think its an awfull tragity and wish the best for any one involved my condolences go deep as i see the impact this has caused to so many people all you guys take care of one anouther and get that justice you all deserve we are all pulling for ya :o)
A terrible tragedy that I haven't yet forgotten. Even though I didn't know anyone affected I still feel sorrow and shock. I pray that everyone is coming to peace over this.
As the 2nd anniversary of the tragic events of The Station fire approaches, I want to express my deepest sympathy to all that lost friends and loved ones that night. It has taken me 2 years to express my feelings to you, as the event was so overwhelming to me, a fan of rock music for many years. No words could express my feelings and sympathy for all of you. I am reminded each time I think of that tragic night of how I myself spent many nights in clubs out to enjoy a night filled with music without reflecting on a possiblity of a tragedy occuring, as I am sure the victims and survivors did not think of such a thing as well that night. You are all still in my thoughts and prayers to this day, even 2 years after the event and I will continue to think of you all. Donations, support, friendship and love to the victims family and to the survivors are extended from me and I may be contacted at BMETS1@aol.com In continued sympathy...Jude
Hi. My father knew the DJ named Mike, also know as "Dr. Metal" He was his best friend... he was like a brother to him. When we found out this devastion happened... my father was crying. It was the first time I ever saw my father cry. I don't think I'll ever see him cry like that again...
I will pray for the family this happened to.

We RI'ders have been scorched for life excuse the pun! For such a small state we are now an American News item. It's the families and the victims who have got lost in all of this. I use to live up the street from there. What a tragedy to see the rubble left, yet beautiful memorials by all. What a testimony to true RI spirit!
May we all learn to recover and yet not lose sight of this tragedy....ever!!! It must never never happen again!!!
My thoughts and prayers are with all of the victims and their families!
AS A TRUE FAN OF ALL TYPES OF ROCK MUSIC, THE BAND THAT SUMS UP TRUE ROCK AND ROLL IS GREAT WHITE. I HAVE COLLECTED ALL THERE CD'S AND OUT OF PRINT AND IMPORT ALBUMS. I WAS STUNNED TO HEAR ABOUT THE FIRE AND ALL THE LIVES THAT HAD TRAGICALLY BEEN CUT SHORT. I FEEL FOR THERE FAMILIES AND THERE LOVED ONES.BEING THAT I HAVE MET JACK RUSSEL IN ST LOUIS WHILE TOURING WITH TRIXTER AND KISS, I FOUND THEM TO BE A HUMBLE BAND THAT WAS HAPPY TO MAKE MUSIC TO THE PEOPLE THAT WANTED TO HEAR THEM. IT IS THE BIGGEST SHAME THAT THE BEAUTIFUL GIFT THAT GOD GAVE US, THE GIFT OF MUSIC, HAD TURN SO PAINFUL FOR THE ONES THAT LOVE THAT GIFT. I,FOR ONE, WILL CONSTANTLY LOVE THAT GIFT.
I READ SOME OF THE MESSAGES HERE AND THE ONE SONG THAT CAME TO ME IS FLY TO THE ANGELS (THEN I SAW THAT SOME ONE WAS THINKING THE SAME). LIVES WILL END EVERY DAY. THERE IS NO STOPPING THAT. BUT A SONG WILL LIVE ON FOR EVER. THERE WILL BE NO STOPPING MUSIC. UNFORTUNATLY, THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME FOR CONCERT GOERS. IT HAS HAPPENED TO THE BEST. THE WHO AND THE ROLLING STONES HAVE HAD TRAGEDIES AND THEY ALSO EXPRESSED THERE SARROW. IN THE YEARS, THEY HAVE CAME THROUGH AND BEEN STRONG AND ARE STILL ROCKING TO THAT BEAUTIFUL GIFT OF MUSIC.
MOST OF THE FANS THAT HAVE DIED ARE MISSED. THERE IS NO DENYING THAT. IF THOSE VICTIMS COULD TALK, CHANCES ARE THEY WOULD STILL HAVE THAT THRIVE TO LET THE MUSIC PLAY AND DANCE AND SING. THAT IS A PART OF LIFE THAT WILL GO ON WHEN YOU AND I ARE GONE
TO GREAT WHITE, WELL THE WHO DID IT, THE STONES DID IT, INXS DID IT, KISS DID IT ECT. STAY STRONG. WITH GOD ON YOUR SIDE AND STRENTH IN YOUR HEART AND A WILL FOR LIFE, YOU WILL EMERGE FROM THIS DARK MOMENT AND WILL SOON BRING BACK THAT GIFT THAT WE JUST LOVE TO HEAR FROM THE BAND "great white"
TO THE CLUB OWNERS, IF YA DID NOT ALLOW PYROS IN THE CLUB, WHY DID YOUR STAFF LET THE ROADIES CARRY THEM THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR? I THINK YOU WOULD HAVE LET THEM BRING A HARRIER JET INSIDE KNOWING THE AFTER BURNER WOULD BE BONE CRUSHING!!!!!!!!! FACE UP TO THE MUSIC THAT SET LIVES TO EARLY GRAVES!!!!!!!!! I HAVE BEEN TO MANY SMALL CLUBS BY MANY 80'S AND 90'S BANDS AND ALL THEM CLUBS WERE TOO PACKED FOR A DAMN SPARKLER!!!!!!!!!!
SINCERLY WITH LOVE FOR MUSIC

Hi All,
My name is Annie and I am from Providence,RI and I just
got the link to this site today. I would like to thank you from
the bottom of mt heart for all of the kind words that I have read
here.
I lost two dear friends to that fire. One being Mike "Dr. Metal"
Gonsalves. I worked with him years ago at 94 HJY and throughout
all of my years there, he became like family to me and pulled me
through a lot of heartaches and hard times and me laugh as well.
The other is Tina Ayer who I not only call mt best friend in the
whole world but also my soul twin. We've been friends for close
to 18 years. She taught me many things including that I could go
out and have a good time without drinking. I was with her everday and saw her kids grow. We have been to hell and back and still loved each other.
She was not only my best friend but she was also the dancer and backup singer for both of our bands, first the Alice Cooper Tribute Show, School's Out, who played at The Station many times and recently the band REAL LIVES an original band and show that is going to be ob tour soon. What a loss to the band!
Not only that, she was going to be my maid of honor and now that she is gone, there is not going to be a wedding. If I can't have Tina by my side, what is the point?
By the way, Tina is the girl who met Jack Russell and the band where she worked at the Fairfeild Inn as a maid.
I will NEVER get over the loss. I ask myself day after day, WHY?
Why was I and my boyfriend spared?
We were on the way to the show that night but had to turn back and go home because of the fuel pump on our van started to go.
I miss them!
-Annie
I was horrified to learn of this terrible event. I have seen Great White in concert three times, and think it's so sad that this had to happen at their show. They always do such a great performance. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
so sad.have courage and faith to GOD.
My thoughts and prayers are with all the victims of this tragedy. May God be with these families. God Speed.

Words....there are no right words to describe this tragedy. Words can't make it right again. All we can do is let the people involved know that we think of them and wish them all the strength they need.
My feelings go out to all the people who lost family members, friends and loved ones, along with the members of Great White who've lost a friend and a great musician.
Just remember all the good times you've had together, never the bad....They will always be with you.
God bless
Kerry - UK
I was horrified to see the recent tapes of that night. I have always loved Great White's music and will stand by them. I feel for the families that lost loved ones, but believe me they are in a much much better place. God had a plan for all of them that night, and as much as that hurts, just know there is a much grander picture for all of us. I have to applaud Jack, in the fact that he got on camera and let everyone know what he was feeling. I think there is more to this story, and the club owners, from what I have seen are lying, saying they didn't give approval. I think it is pretty sad that when anyone dies people have to resort to lying to cover their asses. I know there will be hard times but put your problems in God's hands and he will show you the way. God Bless to the families and to the band for all the pain and suffering you are encountering.
Sincerely,
David R. Walls

Great White was the first concert i ever saw.... Opening for Whitesnake. So the band has always been held dear to me, and have been a fan ever since.. and has influenced my musicianship in many ways.... i was shocked and horrified as i watched the morning news... i belive rock-n-rollers are like a huge family... its a must for us to all pull together in this saddened time and send our prayers and thoughts out to the familes of the lives lost, the loved ones lost, the injured and the survivors.
My prayers and thoughts are with Ty's family as well as the other family's of the victims from that horrible night. It has been a terrible loss to the music world to lose someone so great. Ty, you will be missed terribly!
There aren't words to describe the sadness we feel for all that were effected by such a tragedy.
Wishing the families and friends my heartfelt sympathy.
Laura
just back from one month of holidays, far from every news...
terrible...just say rest in peace friends...
Hang in there...None of us knows the time or place of our final exit so remember that when asking all the "WHY" questions...some things are just for us not to understand...May the Lord grant you peace of heart and mind and may the riffs of TY's guitar and life and everyone else's play forever in your soul. Blessings.
I am deeply concerned by the terrible events in Rhode Iland .
My sympathy and comfort apply for the families of the victims.
There is a world of consoling to be done.
God bless you all
yours sincerely

Great White was the first band I ever saw in concert, opening up for Whitesnake back around 1987-1988. They, and others, inspired me to take playing seriously and really molded the way I approached music. Audie Desbrow helped shape the way I would play drums for decades. The point I wish to make is that I was inspired. I pray for the victims and families of this tragedy and hope their memories are honored and not forgotten and shadowed behind legal proceedings and finger pointing. The deceased and injured were probably inspired, one way or another, by the band, the club or their friends that they attended the show with. Loss of life is always tragic, but let's not forget that to inspire is one of the greatest gifts we can give on earth. Let's hope that inspiration can be found by someone, somehow through this horrible event.
Sincerely,
Shawn
My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this tragedy.
To those directly affected by this sad, unfortunate tragedy. My heart goes out to you. I feel like I lost 97 brothers and sisters through this. As a music-lover myself, I have been to many small club shows and this really hit home to me. May your hearts be strong and with resolve. Your loved ones spirits shall carry on.
I still can't believe this happened.I'm very saddened by these events. My heart goes out to those affected by this.
I am sooo sad by this tragic event.Young lives just starting and ending so quickly and from the pictures i have seen of the deceased they were either handsome or very pretty. My hat is off to the rescuerers and heros though 300 people or more in a building that is going up totally in 3 minutes you got alot out in that time.To get two hundred out in that time is an awesome job.
I don't know any of the ones that perished but my heart bleeds for them all. May the good lord be with all the victims and the injured and the survivors that got out unharmed.
nese
Condolences and sympathies to all affected by this tragic event.
May the happiest of memories sustain you.
My deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims of this terrible tragedy and to Great White.
May the victims rest in peace.
Zoe from Greece
I was saddened when I heard about this tradgedy. I know that everyone who is a family member, or a personal friend of one or more of the victims is very down and depressed right now. They say that God works in mysterious ways; and the only positive, that I can see coming from this bad situation, is to take the lessons learned about doing pyrotechnics in a small wooden club like this (or any enviroment actually), and make very certain that all club or arena owners, bands, and sellers of pyrotechnic devices are made very aware of the associated dangers of using pyrotechnics so a dreadful accident like this is not allowed to happen again. Maybe there should be somekind of government enforced Pyrotechnic's Certification Certificate Test that venue owners, bands, and sellers of pyrotechnics should have to pass before being allowed to deal in them. May the Lord Jesus be with all of you in your time of mourning. You will be in my prayers.
It is always hard to say goodbye to those who have touched our lives, no matter how breif. Our hearts go out to all the familys who lost loved one's in this tragady. Though it is importaint to remember in this time of greif that life is short and precious and sometimes it is hard to endure the bad So we must embrace all the good that we can. As time goes on we must not let this tragady turn to anger run our lives as this was an accident and terrible tragady and nothing more. May peace and love be with all the family and friends.
We would like to give our condolences to all who were touched by this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and their lost ones. We are also saddened by the loss of Ty Longley and wish to send our condolences and prayers to his family, girlfriend Hedi, and unborn child. This was a horrific tragedy among the rock community.
I was so shocked when I began reading the reports on the web, the story went from bad to worse. I had been so excited by the prospect of having Great White come to the UK (as per their web site recently). Now it's probably never going to happen.
My friends and I are organizing a benefit gig here in Bristol UK.
Pass on our thoughts to all the families who have lost or have been hurt.
Let us learn and not be bitter
Mark Curran, Bristol, UK.
Despite being thousands of miles away I´d like to express my deepest feelings for all those, who were killed in this horrific and senseless accident, and also their families. I hope that the injured people will get well. I´m still shocked. I did also visit concerts of Great White, when they played over here in Europe. I can not even imagine if something like this would happen to my friends, when we are out on a concert and want to have fun. Nobody is to blame, but unjust fate. Hopefully such an tragedy will never happen again!!
We all have our tests in life and we are all pushed right up to the edge, but I don't believe we are given more than we can truly handle. I just like the rest of the world pray for those who parished, as well as their families and loved ones. I choose to remember that they were all gathered to celebrate...and that's what music allows us to do. Celebrate moments in time, ties that bind with friends that shared those moments while standing beside us. Something good will come, they have not died in vain.
The emotions are beyond words. All our sympathies to everyone involved.
To the member's of Great White, the surviving family members & friends, & to all who lost their lives that night....
"Maybe Someday.......When The Hurting Is Gone
Maybe Someway........Love Will Stay On
Maybe Someday........We Will Do No Wrong
I know we can make it allright if we try.....
Maybe Someday......."

My deepest sympathies go out to all those impacted by this horrible tradgedy. I hope that the spirit that keeps our rock-n-roll brethren together will help us through this difficult time.
Houston, TX
My heart is broken for all of those who suffered so terribly and senselessly in my home state 5 nights ago. There are no words, but I do hope that hate and anger and blame will not be allowed to overcome the important things: remembering forever those who died, coming together to support and comfort the survivors and families, and making sure each one of us appreciates the beauty of life. There are many lessons that can and must be taken from this horrible tragedy, but there can be no place for hate when we are mourning such wonderful people.
On a separate note, to George Dionne, Todd King, and all the others who so bravely came to tell your stories: you are heroes. Please don't second guess yourselves. You did all you could. Take care of yourselves and know an entire community is here for you.
May the hand of god touch each and everyone of the souls lost that tragic day!!!!!
My prayers go out to the families who lost loved ones at the station fire. And also to the family of Ty Longly. May they all rest in peace. God Bless!
My deepest sympathy to the victims, their families, their friends and the band (whom we know meant no harm to anyone). This is such a tragic situation and it is not over either since the legal wrangling has only begun. Every time I see the video my gut just wrenches and I wish someone could have done something... anything! I can only shake my head over and over in disbelief and frustration. If you are weary, please stay strong, because so many, like me, are praying for you all.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to our fellow Rockers over in Rhode Island.
From the Harrison Family, Stockport, England.
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone touched by this horrible tragedy. It really hits home for me because I've seen countless bands (including GW) in small clubs, many of which used pyro. It's such a shame to lose so many people who just wanted to go to work or see some good, live music. I live in Cincinnati, OH and remember the impact on our city and the world when 11 lives were tragically lost at The Who concert in the late '70s. This time, nearly 10 times that many were lost. Truly awful. Fortunately, some good came out of The Who tragedy with enactment of new laws, etc. Hopefully the same will occur this time so the lives lost won't be in vain. Those who are gone will never be forgotten. I, like many others, will never be able to go into a small club again without thinking about them. God Bless.
We all have our tests in life and we are all pushed right up to the edge, but I don't believe we are given more than we can truly handle. I just like the rest of the world pray for those who parished, as well as their families and loved ones. I choose to remember that they were all gathered to celebrate...and that's what music allows us to do. Celebrate moments in time, ties that bind with friends that shared those moments while right standing beside us. Something good will come, they have not died in vain.
I saw Great White back in 1987 and been a big fan of them. My thoughts go out to the families that lost love ones. Great White did not deserve this to happen to them. meeko----
My tears are for all of us for we have all lost....stay strong Great White~will always love you~thank you for adding so much to my life. I know without a doubt that you didn't mean for this to happen.
I heard of this days after it happened and i send my best wishes to those who lost their lives and the families involved. God bless all of you and thank you for having the love for music as i do.
My heart and prayers go out to all who have been affected by this horrible tragedy. To those who are mourning the loss of a loved one, and to the fortunate few survivors...I pray that you are able to find strength in the memories of those who were lost...and that you are able to find comfort in knowing that they will live eternally with Christ. God bless all of you.
My deepest sympathies to the families and everyone involved. While this should have never happened and things should be put in place so it never happens again, I do believe it was all just a huge accident/mistake....when you organize an event like a concert there is always a chance things can go awry....putting that many people in a small place always has a risk, normally it is very slim, but the risk is still there. I have been to over 230 concerts over 15 years and never once has the thought of something like this entered my mind.....it is truely a sad sad thing. Changes need to be made to concert venues as well as the band's procedures involved with throwing a concert so that it never happens again.
My prayers go out to all the victims and families..
Words will never bring back our lost loved ones, nothing can, but their memories will remain forever.
My sincere sympathies to so many of you, that have lost those closest to you & friends alike.
Such a tradgedy we can only hope will be avoided in the future.
Thoughts are with you all ......
Alun
God bless all who have lost and suffered during this tragedy.I pray for you all.
Thoughts and prayers go out to all who have been affected.
Niall, Dublin , Ireland

My heart and prayers go out to everyone that was involved in this tragedy,
it's difficult for me to write something cause i'm sad . i'm thinking first to all the people who lost someone ,to the fans and the band . I met Ty in july in Paris and i can't believe he's gone...God bless ..... I never forget this date. Thierry from Paris france
I am so sorry to hear what has happened. Forever may they shine in our hearts, and never be forgotten.
My thoughts and Prayers are with the families and friends who lost loved ones and Great White.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I hope that all of the people who lost loved ones can somehow find peace through this terrible tragedy.

This could have happened to any of us who enjoy going to small clubs and watching and listening to the music we love. This tragedy hits home in a big way. I was due to see Great White the following night in Springfield, VA. Who's to say the tragedy couldn't have happened there? Anyway, may the souls of those who have departed us rest in God's hands. Let us never forget this! If ANY good comes from this, its that it will make each and every one of us aware that life IS fragile and we must always be aware of our surroundings and be conscious of what steps must be taking in an emergency.
God bless those 97+ people who perished. Rock on in heaven!
My deepest sympathies go out to all families, friend's and loved one's of those who were tragically lost in the fire, the rock fan's of the world are very shocked and hope that nothing like this will ever happen again. My prayer's and thought's are with you !!!
My heartfelt wishes & thoughts go out to all the families & friends affected by this terrible tradegy.
If someone suffers in the rock world all the fans feel it & are there to offer support.
Peace always.
My deepest condolences to all the family members of the
fans and to the band Great White.
Sometimes we can't understand how and why a tragedy like this would ever happen. It's hard to keep faith but at it's times like these we must pray for one another.
I was horrified to see what unfolded that morning. We watched people literally at the end of their lives on TV, truly sickening.
My heart goes out to all the families and to the members of the band.
Let's hope provisions are made to guarantee that this never happens again.
On behalf of the guys in the band we would like to say that we're, firstly, shocked, at the tragic events which occured at the Station. too many lives lost enjoying, and performing the music that we believe in.
But secondly, touched, by the amount of support and coming together of so many people from around the world to give strength to those families that have been affected by this tagedy.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Steve.
our thoughts and prayers go to the victims and there families on that tragic day. may god bless you always.

I believe bars are no place for a pyro rock show. They should have used better judgement. These people that were at the show we my brothers and sisters. They were family. If I lived there I would have been there with them. I see Great White everytime they come to town and the fire could have happened in my town.I've mourned every day since the tragedy. I feel like I've lost part of my family. This will effect me the rest of my life.
My thoughts are with all the victims and their families of this horrible tragedy.
I can't express my deepest sadness with words.
This has been such an incredible tragedy that I still cannot believe it really happened. My heart goes out to all those involved.
R.I.P
My condolences to all involved. May God keep you strong and get you through this entire tragic ordeal. It's amazing
how so many of us can see ourselves in that same situation. I go to numerous shows in bars that are so similar to the
Station, there's no way everyone would ever have gotten out of any of those places. Let's never forget those who
perished and continue to support all the bands who work so hard to entertain all of us. Time will heal. We fortunately
didn't lose a life, but myself, my wife and two baby girls lost everything we owned last May to a tornado. We have
overcome, the community and our church came through for us and we are stronger than ever before. Keep the faith and
God Bless.
What an absolute tragedy. My condolences go out to the friends and family of those who lost their lives and also to the injured - who's lives will never be the same again. I lived in Dublin, Ireland when a nightclub fire claimed 48 lives in 1981. Those people are still remembered today as will be those who perished at The Station Club after 22 years - and far beyond.
I pray that all the families who lost loved ones are seeking the help they need to understand this tragedy and I pray that God will help all of them through this terrible time. I continue to pray with my children for the families and hope that God will comfort them and keep them under His gentle hand as they heal.
I can't imagine what you're going through, and I pray that none of us ever have to live it.
NOTHING CAN BRING BACK WHAT YOU LOST. BUT MAYBE KNOWING THAT IT WON'T BE IN VAIN WILL HELP A LITTLE BIT. I KNOW THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT WILL MAKE SURE I KNOW WHERE THE EXIT DOORS ARE NEXT TIME I GO TO A CONCERT. THERE WILL HOPEFULLY BE MORE SMALL VENUES THAT CHANGE HOW THEY TREAT PYROTECHNIC USE. AND MAYBE MORE PEOPLE WILL TAKE THE TIME TO SHOW HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT THOSE THEY LOVE. YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN. THE LOST LIVES OF THOSE 97 WILL HELP TO SAVE MANY MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW. I'M SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, BUT WE ARE BETTER FOR MEETING THEM NOW. JULIE
May we keep God in our hearts and may he have mercy on the victims
Words cannot express the sadness the families of the victims and the band are going through. Our thoughts are with them.
A day I will never forget. I'm comforted in knowing that those who did not make it have moved on the a better place. I pray for all that were invovlved.
God bless you all. R.I.P.
This is trully a very distrubing moment for all involved. How quick our lives can change in a matter of seconds. I have been to numerous club shows with pyro, where there was a lot more of it used that what I saw on video, and this could have happened when I was present at anyone of those shows with any of those other bands. It is just very sad. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, families, friends and the band. For all involved be strong and May God Bless. RIP
My thoughts are for all the people who have been affected by this tragedy,
My sincere condolences go out to all the family & friends of those lost in this tragedy.May those who were lost Rest In Peace.

Hi there,I was heavy into Great White in the 80s.I saw them a few years ago at Harpos in Detroit, before TY was there. But you know its soo sad and heart breaking to lose someone u r close to.I saw Heidi on date line.she made me Cry.Her poor heart was broken and the family.I have been through this once.someone murdered my friend though. It will be two years on april first and I am not over it.all I can say is time does heal.I never believed it til I went though it.Great White is a great band and TY will be missed dearly.I am so sorry to his parents, girlfriend and his freinds and fans.God Bless u all:(
My deepest sympathies go out to the loved ones of all who lost their lives or were injured at The Station. As a fellow music fan, this horrible accident has saddened me beyond belief. Like they never lost faith in rock and roll, never lose faith in your lives. They're in a better place now than all of us. God Bless.
A sad day in rock history...my thoughts and prayers to those who lost loved ones. A river of tears can be seen on the Desert Moon - Long Live GREAT WHITE!!!
Life is short, and every time I hear about this tragedy that become so very clear.
These people lost there lives doing what millions of us do each and every day enjoying the music, it is truly unbelivable that this could happen anywhere and the pathetic pointing of fingers is enough to make anyone sick, nobody wanted anyone to lose there life at this concert.
Concerts are about life not death and those pointing fingers should be truly ashamed of themselves.
Has for Great White my heart goes out to them all it is tragic that this band has been put through such an ordeal, the death of their fans.
I took a look back through the songs of Great White and have placed some of the lyrics here for everyone to read, I believe that these are words that have great meaning at this time and hope that music will help comfort those who have lost love ones in this terrible tragedy.
"The Angel Song"
Fly lonely angel high above these streets of fire
Fly lonely angel far away from mad desire...
"Sail Away"
Adrift out on an open sea A life raft seekin' company sailing on a sea insane rolling with the waves of pain...
"In the tradition"
I've noticed today I have one less friend to call and no one to tell me it's all right as my world starts to fall i'm doing the best that I can and I've had all the help I can stand I'm ready to crash, yes I am but i'll hide it the best that I can...
there are no words to express to the families touched by this. i offer only sympathy and prayers. and to my friend who lost her brother and sister-in-law, i grieve for you the most.
My prayers are for all the victims and their families. God be with them all.
Brazil
My sympathies are with the families of the souls lost in this terrible incident be it the fans, musicians, or band crew. They will not be forgotten. I will pray for them and hope that nothing like this will happen again.
Please extend our sympathies to the families of those bereaved and to the survivors - and the painful memories of what should have been a joyous occasion. We pray you find peace.
Az and Susan Chaudhry Manchester England
I echo many of the sentiments already posted here. I also send my heartfelt condolences to all the families and friends and loved ones of all those who died in this tragic fire. From the moment I heard about this, my heart has been very heavy. I have prayed every day since this happened. I do feel all of your grief and your loss and I send you my strength through this e-mail, through GOD, through whatever you believe, that you will all make it through this. Your loved ones are in a much better place...they are there because they were celebrating their joy of music, heavy rock music and now they are celebrating forever....in peace and love.
My heart goes out to the families, friends and fellow music fans that were affected by this tragedy.I have been a fan of Great White for 15 years and have seen them live a bunch of times and never once witnessed a problem at any show.I am just so stunned by this,I can't get it off my mind.
Joe
I'm Still in shock. I will continue to pray for all involved. We love ya Ty!!!!!!!!!!!
May God keep the souls of those lost. They died needlessly for the love of their music. To the families, all of my sympathy. To the Great White Family, I am deeply saddened for the loss of Ty and your fans whom I know you loved. I pray that with time comes healing and that you PLAY ON in memory of those that are with us no more. Music and the light of Christ will heal even the most terrible wounds. "Always, forever with you always."
My family's thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. God bless everyone involved. They will all be missed.
I cannot even begin to understand what everyone who has been affected by this tragedy must be going through, but my sympathy is with the families of everyone who was lost at the station and also those who lived and are permanently scarred by the memories of that night.
Very touched by the horrible news. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of those left behind. To those who gave their lives unwillingly for their love for music: may you rest in peace in rock 'n roll heaven!

To the members of Great White: I wish you strength...
Words will mean so little to the bereaved, but you're in our thoughts at this difficult and tragic time.
As a firefighter/paramedic and Great White fan I can easily see both sides of the issue concerning the use of pyro in a small club. The media isn't presenting a fair and clear picture of the situation at all. On one side is a veteran rock band that has probably used pyro many, many times without incident. On the other side you have club owners who have been operating a business and have had lots of bands pass through. Some use pyro and some don't. In the end, all any of us can do is learn from the mistakes made that night and let time move us forward. God Bless the fallen and the injured from that terrible night.
Having met the guys from Great White down through the years, they and the rest of the rock world share your grief in this UNREAL DIASTER. Coming from Ireland we have had our share of diasters. May the entire families just know that there are people out there who really DO CARE.....
i am still trying to come to terms of what has happened. i love great white and i love rock n roll as all of those people that lost their lives last thursday. i pray for all of them every nite and also for ty longley and his family.i ish i could say something positive here but my heart bleeds for everyone involved .i can imagine how jack and the band must feel right now i am so sorry from frank mc donnell in ireland.
how sad to here the news of this tragic event. the loss of one life is bad enough so to have lost so many is terrible.our thoughts and prayers go to all the families of those who died, and also the world losers yet another rockstar in tragic circumstances god bless them all. from uk aor band lost weekend.
I recently had the pleasure of meeting all the guys from Great White when they played in Orlando. They were all exhausted
but nontheless stayed until every fan had a handshake, hug, autograph or picture. They were all amazing, Ty just struck me
as an amazingly happy person and wanted to be everyones friend. It is a terrible loss to the music community to lose not
only an amazing talent but a wonderful person. My prayers are with all of Tys family and friends as well as the familys of
all the other victims.
I have been praying and praying over this senseless tragedy since the 21st. No one deserves to die in such a horrendous manner while performing such a peaceful act as playing and attending a concert by a great band. I guess it is all part of Gods plan for us all, something we won't understand until we meet our Maker ourselves. To the members of Great White-you've had the horror of losing a very special, gifted member of your family, please do not guilt yourselves over the what if's and should have's of the situation. This is not your fault. You should all besticking together and not be guilting yourselves over this tragedy. I wish the best for you all, and you are all in my prayers. To Ty's family and friends and all the other victims families and friends-please believe that God will take care of your loved ones, He has brought them Home for His own reasons, as hard as that is to accept for those left here. They are in a better place, and are safe and loved for eternity. Having lost loved ones myself in tragedies such as this, I sympathize and empathize with what you are feeling. The lovely people that lost their lives at the Station are being prayed for and loved by so many that never knew them personally. My heart grieves for them and for you. Please, as hard as it is, be strong and remember them with love and gratitude for having known them. I will be praying for them for the rest of my life, and will never forget them. If anyone would like to write, please feel free to do so. You and your loved ones are loved at all times By thousands of us and by God.
Such a sad time for the whole Rock community. Thoughts and prayers going out to families and friends affected by this tragedy. We all mourn your loss.
Amy

This is a terrible tragedy. I cried when I read various accounts from the people who were at the concert. My prayers go out to the family and friends of the people killed. I'd like to think that all the fans of metal are a family. I've encountered many kind souls at concerts that I've attended. We have lost our brothers and sisters. God bless them and may they find peace in Heaven. "Fly lonely Angel" - Great White
My thoughts goes to all the rockfans who lost their lifes and to their familys. Rest in peace Lasse L
RUSH wrote a song from their Grace Under Pressure album called "Afterimage" the first verse I send out to all lost... "Suddenly you were gone, from all the lives you left your mark upon" - Neil Peart PEACE BE WITH YOU ALL
My condolences go out to all of the parties involved... I just hope that all parties eventually come to a spiritual peace...
Like everyone, I was stunned and glued to my TV for hours on end, just like space shuttle and 911 horrors. It's obvious to me that we need to do a great thing to prevent this from ever happening again anywhere else, like making doors 4x as wide and dedicating the new doors to the Warwick Victims, so they will not have died in vain. Worldwide, wherever there are a large gathering of people, the 'Warwick Doors' will be. These doors will save lives and then people will remember.
Our deepest condolences go to everyone affected by this unfortunate accident. May the reason that people went there that night carry on in spirit.
This is an event that i think touched a lot of people all over the country and probably even the world. Being a concert goer myself, its definately tough to hear about this and then head to a show myself. I pray for the victims and all of their family and friends. And i also pray that we don't look around for whome to place the blame on, but just to realize that it happened, and that we have to live on witha new awareness in our minds. It was a mistake, a great one at that, but a mistake none the less, and all we should do is give our support instead of pointing fingers. Much love to all of those who've helped out through all this. Peace, Love, and teddy grahams. l8r.
I'm saddened by the news at what happened in Rhode Island. I've been thinking of it constantly. I continue talking to everybody about the horrific event. I think there should be a benifit concert with many bands to help aid the families that lost love ones this past week.
My God.
Words cannot express how hurt and lost I feel knowing that somthing like this happened to people from "my crowd".
I always treasure that feeling of "family" when I attend a rock event. Everyone there for the same reason in the name of rock n roll. A bonding with others that is hard to find in our everyday lives. So it really feels like part of my family has been lost. I will always remember my brothers and sisters lost on this tragic day - and I hope they have truly found a better place.
I know if there is a rock n roll heaven - that they are there, fists in the air.
TO ALL WHO HAVE LOST OR BEEN INJURED AT THE STATION OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU, WE WILL NOT FORGET YOU AND WILL REMEMBER YOU EVERY TIME WE WALK INTO ANOTHER LIVE SHOW. WE WILL REMEMBER YOU ALWAYS, REST IN PEACE
My deepest sympathies go out to all those who have been atouched by this terrible tragedy.
There are no words. My prayers are with the families of those who died and to all those who made it out. Let's pray that this never happens again. Peace.
My love and sympathy go out to all the families who have lost loved ones. This is something we must never forget and all must work to prevent anything like this happening again.
There is nothing one can say in this extremely difficult time to make it go away, but our thoughts and condolences are with you all from Taunton United Kingdom.
I can't begin to say how sad I am about this. I was at the Bangor, Maine show 2 nights before the RI disaster, and had the pleasure of meeting Great White again. I just want to say that NO WAY should Great White be responsible for this. They totally love their fans, and were just as much at risk as anyone. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families of the victims, and Great White. Peace,Love & Rock-in-Roll.
let me start out by saying how sorry I was to hear about what happened. This accident could have happened at any club that us rock fans attend and I feel so bad for the family and friends of these victims who were there to just enjoy a great nite of music and have a great time. I can't even begin to imagine what Great White must be going thru, esspecially since they lost one of their own in this tragic mishap. My thoughts and prayers go out to all. Let's just hope lessons can be learned from this and pray it will never happen again. God bless all of you who lost a loved one.
I live in Chicago and we just had the E-club disaster with 21 people dead. I wasn't even over grieving for them and now this. My husband loves Great White and even met Jack Russell once, so he is devasted by this. We go to concerts all of the time and never think anything of it. Our prayers are with the friends and families. This is such a terrible, terrible tragedy. God bless all who are suffering.
im gutted to say the least..My heart goes out to all the families who have lost.....Lets make sure nothing like this can happen again
ps. I agree with Ann Boleyn Ive attended club gigs and im suprised this has happened before now
If words could express your saddness, would they make it stop
If prayers could give you closure, to whom would you pray.
For the families that have experience this horrific loss, I am so sorry for your loss and hope that in time your scars will heal and that you all will honor the memories of those that have persished in the terrible accident
Steve From Scotland I Would just like to say how sorry i feel about the poor souls who lost there lives listening to the best music in town my Thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims & including the Great White Guitarist who lost his life .... ROCK ON IN HEAVEN
My deepest sorrows and prayers go out to the families and friends of those lost in the tragedy. Hopefully, if any good can come from this, is that venues take a serious look at club safety. As a former bouncer, management and security need to be better trained to handle situations more than just simple bar fights. Instead of finger-pointing, they should be working together to prevent this from ever happening again.
My sincerest condolences go to the families, friends and loves ones of all who perished in this terrible event.
I can't even put into words how deeply saddened I am by this tragedy. My fiancee' and I were watching the news on Thursday evening when they broke in with a news bulletin, announcing the fire. Before they even mentioned the band, I saw Jack Russell on the video footage and freaked out. I've been a fan of Great White since 1982 and have seen them a dozen times. My first thoughts were that this this could've been me or any of my friends in this situation. I can't even imagine the pain friends and family of those lost in the fire are feeling. My heart goes out to anyone affected by this tragedy.

I was deeply saddened by the news about Great White, especially the news about Ty Longley. Great White is one of my FAVORITE bands. This news is just tragic. I am going to stand beside Great White in belief that they did have permission. Jack Russell would have never been so stupid as to have not had permission to have pyrotechnics. My condolences to Heidi, their unborn child & Ty's family. RIP Ty.
My deepest sympathies go out to all the family members that lost loved ones on the night of this devastating accident. God be with all of you in your time of sorrow.
I almost went to that show, my friend Derek never made it and my friends Frankie and Julie were hurt pretty bad thank goodness. Kindest regards to the families of my friends and to all those who lost loved ones. RIP Derek never stop rockin bro!
What more can be said that hasn't already...it truly breaks my heart. Rest in peace, brothers and sisters.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all who have been affected by this awful tragedy. Fortunately my brother made it out o.k.
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by this event. God bless and we will never forget you.
My deepest sympaty for the victims and their family and friends. All my love to Great White - one of the greatest hard rock acts ever. Hopefully You´ll start touring again - Maybe Someday.
My thought and prayers go out to the families and friends affected by this terrible tragedy. The ones who got badly injured. May you find strength...
I am deeply saddened by the devastating loss of so many lives! As a regular patron of The Station, I got to know many new friends. Although many of the friends I spoke with each week, I didn't know your name...but I can still see your smiles and your spirit will live on within me for a lifetime. Each of you will be missed greatly. My condolences to all family members...we share your grief. Peace and may God Bless. Scott
This has been such a tragedy for all involved...my sincere condolences to those who lost loved ones and friends and speedy recovery to those injured...and to whom the blame is with, may you be able to live with yourselves for the rest of your life...

We all share the pain with you.
My condolences to the families affected.
Im from Portugal and my admiration to Great White is immense. Im sure they arent to blame. They only wanted to provide the best show for the fans.

I am truly saddened by this horrific event. My heart goes out to all the families and, let's not forget, the band and Ty Longley. This was so tragic, it's unreal to think something like this happened. My God be with us all.
Now is not the time for blame. Now is the time to mourn and grieve for the lost ones of our rock and roll 'family'.
To the families and friends of those who died and those who witnessed this terrible event....my thoughts are with you all
Andy.
This is a sad time for all. I have seen GW several times through out there career. Being a musician and growing up with GW as my idol makes this hard to take. Because of GW and other bands I dream of touring and performing for anyone willing to listen. This has to be very tuff for the band to come to town as a hero and leave knowing you lost so many friends. I am very sad for everyone involved, we lost friends in the music loving family.
What makes it hard for me still to take is the media rage; I watched the event over and over on the news. Every time the media only stated someone needs to be blamed. I think everyone is still devastated from the fire. But the media continues to try to point the finger and play one party against the other. That will not take the pain away or place justice only misplace our feelings, accidents happen and as we have seen no one gained from this event, everyone lost.
I wish everyone involved best and to know you are in my prayers.

There are no words to express what I feel. My heart is broken.
I will keep both those who died and those who survived, as well as their families and friends, in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all!!
We are connected because of the music. If we had live there, we would have been there. While we never met, you are part of our family and you will be missed. To the ones you left behind, we share your sorrow.
I am very saddened and shocked by the tragedy at the Station. My heart and condolences go out to the family and friends of those who were lost, and to the members of Great White who lost one of their 'brothers' that fateful night.
It was one of the saddest days of my life. I feel like i lost 97 friends of mine. I hope that this will be the last accident that will happen and i would like to say that my thoughts and prayers are with the victims(RIP) and i also would like to give my condolence to the relatives of the victims. I hope that God will give them courage.
PANAGIOTIS A GREAT WHITE FAN FROM GREECE.
My thoughts are with the families of those who lost their lives in this terrible tradegy. They are with Heidi and Ty's family and with the band who must be in so much pain. Be strong
This is a very sad and I hope that this will Teach fellow rockers to look out for each other. I hope that the families and the band will recover from this event. My prayers go out to all. I feel that the Band has suffered enough and I hope the finger pointing game does not end on them. They where just trying to bring joy to the people that where there. VERY SAD IN GERMANY

Being from the Boston-area, I almost went to see Great White and was completely shocked when I woke up on Friday morning to the news of so many of our fellow rockers who passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with loved ones who are still with us.
The day it all happened it started with "one person killed", then 5, 10, 50, 65, 86, and now its 97, I just couldn't believe it as the figure crept up and up. So many faceless people in the crowd and then it included Ty, who obviously is the same as all the others, A HUMAN BEING, but when you can put a face to this tragedy it just seems to hit home a bit harder. Many souls were lost in those few tragic minutes, all each as important as the other. I sat and cried at my computer (and they say big boys don't cry). I'm many miles away across the water in the UK but being a rock fan, a Great White fan, a gig fan, it just hits me hard. No one really seems to understand but when you are part of a "clan" a club which I think the rock fraternity is, you feel like you have lost a brother or sister, father or mother, lover or soulmate. Being a singer in a (small) band myself I know what some of these places are like to play (they are the same over here), but can we please not jump to conclusions and go about blaming everyone right, left and centre. We live in a world where everything that goes wrong must have someone to blame and some people will go out of their way to take financial advantage of that, that makes me very sick. I feel that the band are not to blame here, it was an accident, maybe there was some miscommunication, but still an accident. Like Bill Hicks said "what rock star wants his audience dead? (sorry sometimes you have to laugh in the face of adversity). No one went out that night meaning for this to happen. Jack and co. will never ever forget this night, the night they lost a band mate, many fans and always remember fans are friends, whether you ever actually meet them or not. There were many lives effected that night, the lost ones, the families, even the helpers, paramedics and doctors, lets not destroy more peoples lives by starting a witch hunt and taking certain people for every penny they have, remember those concerned are in a state of shock too. ALL WILL BE MADE CLEAR IN TIME. This goes out to the lost and the grieving, the band, and everyone who is effected by this. tim.
Hi, I'm writing from Colombia, although in my country tragedy happens every day, my condolenses and prayer go to those hard rock fans souls, their relatives, to the band and the injured. God bless them all, only He knows why...
RICARDO
Lets hope we learn from the mistakes made, and stop anything like this happen again...
A sad moment in time, but one which will pass, to be replaced by more postive times. My condolences.
Col, England.
I'm devastated. I've seen Great White myself twice in the late 80s, and it's hard to believe people had to die simply because they enjoyed some good rock music. All my sympathies to the families of the deceased and everyone else involved.

Firstly, may I send heartfelt condolences and thoughts on behalf of 'DRESSED TO KILL' to the friends and families of Ty Longley and all our fellow rock fans who tragically lost their lives at 'The Station'. This is indeed a profoundly distressing time for all in our rock community.
I would, however, like to address the issue of pyrotechnic use from my personal point of view as a member of a band that uses them on a regular basis and have done so for 12 years.
We always include a contract clause regarding our use of pyro and encourage venues to invite a local fire officer to attend a demonstration. We provide venues & local authorites with 'risk assessments', have a certified pyrotechnician in the band, carry a fire extinguisher and take all possible measures to ensure that the opeartion area is as safe as possible at all times. The safety of the band, crew, audience and venue staff is the paramount concern at ALL times.
Pyro effects are available in different sizes and we tailor our display to the size of the venue concerned. From what I've seen of the TV footage from 'The Station', the pyro Great White was using appears to have been of standard 'small' size and with careful use should have been perfectly suitable and safe. Though we don't know what care was taken with their use by the crew I can only presume that they used them as per the recognised operating instructions.
HOWEVER, as much care and attention as we take with the effects, we as bands are somewhat at the mercy of the venues we play in. Small clubs and the like often have poor wiring, loose stage floorboards, exposed areas of poor insulation or sound proofing, a lack of ventilation etc. We cannot police the safety of clubs, check for sprinklers, test the paint to see if it's fire retardent, clear the air filters etc.....! We can but get venue permission for pyro use and encourage venue cooperation through education on it's safe use. I pray that out of this horrific event there can be the positive effect of forcing venues to adhere to a strong but fair fire safety policy. Professional indoor pyrotechnics ARE safe to use in the correct environment but the venues must not use flammable materials, have poor security or a lack of fire exits/sprinklers!! This needs to be a wake up call to venues, promoters and local authorities!
My band will continue using indoor pyro in as safe a manner as possible but this tragedy will be in my mind every time we set it up on the stage. Unfortunatley, accidents do happen, but they can often be avoided with common sense. This is one that sadly could have so easily been avoided....
Rest in peace friends.....
I want you to know that our deepest thoughts go out to everyone affected by this terrible tragedy. May the angels be watching over you.

My deepest condolenses to all of the members families...To think that that could happen to any of my friends or myself who are regular concert go'ers is a big reality check....may the 96 people who lost their lives rest in peace........
All the words and all the tears are never enough when faced with the loss of loved ones. The Rock Community is more like a family, so the loss of any members of that family hits all of us hard. I'm sure all our hearts and our thoughts go out to the friends and families concerned and rock fans all around the World will be greatly saddened at this devastating loss.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims (living and dead) of this horrible tragedy and their families. Also to the band, Ty, and his family. May those who perished now be in a better place.
I couldn't believe it when my friend filtered through the news. Such a tragedy for the whole rock n roll community. Lets hope that Jack and the boys can regroup and rock on in memory of the people that died so tragically. It just goes to prove you can never be too careful.
Ante, Sydney
Words can not properly express the saddness that we are all going through. We are all brothers and sisters of Rock 'n' Roll, and our fallen brothers and sisters are going to be remembered every time we listen to the music we all love. We all want to have fun at rock concerts and forget about our problems. But it now looks like we'll have to think about our safety more than we did before though. Let's always remember them, turn the volume up and say a prayer for their souls, friends and family.
Shock and heartache are the only things that come to mind when thinking about the tragedy. We are big Great White fans and our prayers go to everyone affected by this disaster. To The Family's.... We feel your pain and sorrow for those you lost and hope that we can give you a ray of strength to help you cope with this, To Great White......... Please stay strong and proud on this ordeal your fans will stick by you during this terrible ordeal, like rock and roll- never give up hope- for there is always a new day, To The Owners and Fellow Clubs.......... At this time in such a horrible circumstance pointing fingers like children will not erase the pain and suffering, in our belief this was an accident and no intent was made to hurt people, there is no one to blame not even yourselves, our hearts and prayers are also with you,..........And Finally To The Fans..... We must stick together to get through this and learn from it so that this does not happen again, let the freedom and spirit of the lives lost, those in the hospital, the families, Great White, and the owners shine and prosper forever- anyone who would like to talk about this and or meet in the southern new jersey area for a vigil please email us- powgar2003@netzero.com-

My Prayers and thoughts for the victims and their families.
My Heart goes out to you. May you find Peace at this difficult
time.
I have finally had my time to put my thoughts together over all of this and I wish everyone that survived a speedy recovery. As for the band guys keep your head up and thoughts of Ty will always be with me. Love you all, Blaze
May the ones we lost all be with God, and may God be with and bless those who are injured, and those searching for reasons.
God Bless and Amen.
I feel very heartbroken by the recent tragedy of the Warwick, Rhode Island fire. I saw the news broadcasts filled with sites of injured people, desparate parents of the missing, and the atrocity of seeing victims being hauled out in body bags. I cried! My band Medallion played a show last night and did a tribute to them. How could we not? My sincere sympathy and prayers go out to the family and friends of the victims. And, no matter who prefers to blame Great White for this, we all know that the band would NEVER have wanted something like this to happen, so I sympathize for them as well.
watching a news anchor read the death toll on TV does not give you a sense of loss. everyone who has said a prayer, lit a candle, or given a damn about someone else, to a nameless face or a faceless name, you are the ones who the friends and families feel comfort from. And my heart goes out to the victims, and to everyone they had ever touched.
Stay safe

This kind of thing can happen to anyone, but no one deserves it. I feel so bad that this kind of thing had to happen, especially to fellow music lovers. My thoughts go out to the families of the victims, great white, the club owners and everyone else involved.
I have no words to express the sadness I feel for the loss of so many fellow rock fans. Like many others around the world, my thoughts are with the families and friends of those so tragically killed.
Mike Rumsby, Radio Maldwyn, UK
Such a tragic happening. My heart goes out to all of those who lost someone. It is a sad day for all rock fans around the world. My prayers go out to all.
To the familes of our lost brothers and sisters and to the Great White family -
You are in our hearts, prayers and thoughts. Mere words cannot tell you how saddened we are. Please know that we are with you. Your loss is truly felt within our group of friends. We promise to keep the music alive and with that, the memories of the lost.
Nancy, S.O.V., Black Widow and the many, many metal fans in the DC/Baltimore area
I was there to see this show and was right in the middle where the soundboard was. I cannot even explain what a nightmare this was. I made it out with minor injuries but my friend who I went with unfortunately has not been found. I've been to this place numerous times. I still cannot believe that I may never see my friends face again. One second we are laughing the next we are trying to get out of this burning building. It all happened so fast that one does not have time to think clearly. We are talking about over 300 people trying to get out of this building that burnt in 3 minutes. My heart and prayers go out to everyone who was there and who have been touched by this awful tragedy.
If you all have one moment, then use it to think of those lost and those who have lost so much in such tragic circumstances.
Too many families are deprived of the love of fathers, mothers and children, let them be at peace soon.
May they rest in peace.

Still in shock.... Prayers for all the victims of this tragedy and their families. Also, prayers for all those who survived and/or tried to rescue their fellow fans, along with the health care professionals, firefighters, and peace officers that tried so valiantly to help them....
Prayers that reforms are undertaken to prevvent this sort of thing from ever happening again.....
God Bless,

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by this terrible tragedy. A friend of mine still has a friend missing who was in the opening band and all we can do is continue to pray for his safe return. May God bless each and everyone!!
although the band made a dumb mistake and choice to do what they did a lawsuit is not neccessary as they will pay for the rest of thier lives for the choice and mistake they made. unfortunately people will want some payment in return and people to suffer more. its a shame people went to have fun only to be caught up in a tragic mistake. I pray for all the families, band mambers and all involved. but let it rest as it should. death is enough to pay and deal with the rest of your life.
Sincere condolences from a UK rock fan. I can`t believe the severity of this tragedy and my thoughts and prayers go out to all the families and friends of those affected.
My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families and a great rockband "Great White"

My prayers go out to all the families.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families and friends affected
by this preventable tragedy.
What happened that Thursday night can not be explained in a news flash, a sound bite or a front page story. What happened was truly a tragedy, whether the amount of people who truly suffered was a lot or just a few. Everyone wants to point figures at who exactly was to blame just as long as the attention is off of them. This could've happened in any city, at any venue (big or small) and with any band. And this could've happened to you and me.
Let the memory of those who were lost shine on in your hearts. As everyone moves forward from this tragedy (but never over looking the pain or the loss) don't forget to tell one another what they mean to each of you. Enjoy the time you have. Tell people you miss them. Tell people you love them. Get in touch with a friend you haven't spoke to in a long time. What's the worst that could happen? Nothing is more expensive than regret. You and I both know that line is from a rock video.
I don't recall ever knowing anyone in Rhode Island, but those people who were injured and killed seem like people I've always known from the time I was 14 at my first concert. Friends who have a passion for their favorite band; for rock'n'roll; for music that lightens up their senses. Friends who yell and sing along to their favorite song. Friends who just want a band member to notice them, just for 1 second. Friends who take pictures at shows for their scrapbooks. Friends who still have every stub from every show they ever went to. Friends who travel to another (sometimes far away) city to see the same band, over and over. Friends who would get all nervous and toungue-tied if they ever met that particular rock'n'roller. I've been to concerts with these friends, I've waited on line (sometimes for hours) with these friends, I've traded war (band)stories with these friends, I've struggled for position all-the-way-in-the-front with these friends, and I've looked for something in common over a cold beer or 2, before the shows, during the shows, and after the shows, with the people I enjoy calling my friends.
Don't ever take any of it for granted. This was written with much love and respect in our heart for everyone who suffered.
Regards, Rob and Jen
mi mas sentido pesame a los familiares de todos los fallecidos. hermanos del rock descansar en paz, siempre estareis en nuestros corazones.donde quiera que esteis sonara una guitarra electrica en vuestro recuerdo.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of the friends and families of those rock souls that we lost. I hope we all learn from this terrible tragidy.
My brother and I decided a few days before not to go to the show. My new daughter was born just last week (2 weeks early) and that was the deciding factor in not going to the show. I have a hard time thinking that it could have been me there. It is a hard pill to swallow. My thoughts are with everyone who is suffering this painful loss.
I am in shock as is everybody else about what happened at the Great White show. 96 people have paid the ultimate admission price to see a rock and roll show. My prayers and thought go out to the familys and friends of all the victims of this tragedy....Rock On and remember our fallen friends.......
Though the voice is quiet, the spirit echoes still. From the Tree of Life, each leaf must fall -- The green, the gold, the great, the small
Each one in God's own time, He'll call -- With perfect love, He gathers all.
I attended the Great White show in Allentown, PA just seven days before the tragedy at the Station Club. As Jack Russell himself said during the show I attended, "People come to rock shows to forget their problems and everyday stresses of life. The just want to have a good time."
Obviously, there are no words I can say that will truly bring comfort to those who lost loved one. My deepest condolences and most sincere prayers are with all of the families negatively affected by this terrible event.
May God bless you all.
My heartfelt sympathy to all those who have lost a loved one.
All my thoughts and prayers are with the families of those lost. Rock & Roll will never die and neither will the thoughts of those lost in their desire to continue its legacy. Every time we hear a song on the radio, a ballad at a concert, or a rocker in our own home, a piece of you will be with us. God Bless You!
From Spain,my sincerest thoughts of strength and warmth to the families affected.
This was such an awful event; I just wanted to say that I'll be praying for everyone.
My thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by this terrible tragedy. I hope that you are all granted the stength you need to get through this time of grief.
.....sad but true....
A great disaster
I am from R.I. only 6 miles from where it all happened. It feels like reliving 9/11/01 again. I lost my cousin on that day. My husband is a volunteer fireman and he said it was horrible at the site of the fire. My prayers go out to everyone who lost family or friends in such a horrible tragedy. God bless.
My Prayers and Thoughts Go out to all that were affected By This tragic event. I still am in shock and do not know when this will really set in. To all the Families of the dead. Please know many people's thoughts are with you and will continue to be with you.
My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was affected by this tragedy. I have been a fan of Great White since I was a child and my heart is heavy with sadness for them and their fans. I hope that the finger pointing stops and instead, let us all learn from this so it doesn't happen again.
My prayers are with all who were in that club that night. For the people that made it out, I pray for a full recovery for physical and mental pains they may be experiencing. For the People that did not make it out, you will all be remembered. In Loving Memory Of All Those Who Passed.
One of the saddest things I have ever seen and I extend my condolences to everybody affected by such a terrible tradegy. God willing it will be viewed as a horrific accident but being America I guess people will have to take the blame and be persecuted forever. God bless you Jack and everyone else who will now be hounded by the media and those seeking retribution. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I hope that one day you can put things behind you and move forward with love and peace in your hearts.
Mike
I was going to go to the concert in Allentown, but never made it. I was called by my dad Friday morning to tell me about a fire at a concert in RI, but he didn't catch the name of the band. Later that evening, while checking MelodicRock, I saw the news and was speechless. My prayers and thoughts go out to all those hurt and lost in the tragedy and their families. Let's not go pointing fingers so fast, let's help those who need our help first.
Peace, Love and Rock 'N Roll to All!
May God be with you and your families as you all recover from this tragic loss. Find a way to have the strength to carry on with your lives, and mercy to all the precious souls who have perished. I hope this tragic event will see safety be a key at future shows of this (small) magnitude. God bless you all...
There are no words that could express the deep sorrow that I feel for all affected by this tragedy. I recently visited the club a few months ago to see a show and had a great time. There is no doubt in my mind that there are multiple parties responsible for negligence and that there will undoubtedly be some accountability. There is a distinct commoroderie between our genre of musics fans, and I am hopeful that we can all pull together and support the families and friends of those afflicted.
A terrible tragedy - love and best wishes to the families and friends of the injured and all those affected by the fire. Norti
No words can suffice for those affected, but the thoughts and prayers of many others are with you.
I struggle for the right thing to say, but what can be said. I'm sorry! Peace.............
Our thoughts & prayers go out to all the friends & families who lost loved ones on that tragic evening.
I have tried to write words of comfort, and realized there really is no way to convey heartfelt sorrow to all the families and friends who have suffered such a devastating loss.
Prayers for all of you. I am truly at a loss for words. Please accept this little note as my humble way of letting all of you know that tho I have no words...I will certainly keep all of you in my prayers.
We love you great white, and know that this is one of the worst things that could happen, but we love you, with all of our hearts, with the loss of your bandmate, and the other people involved, we can only learn from this experience, and we will, I love you guys and take care! Joe from Windsor
My deepest sympathies to all those who have been affected by this tragic event. It surely has been a great blow to the melodic rock community and we all feel the pain and loss, as we realise it could have been any of us. My love goes out to you all.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the people lost in this horrible accident. May Rock 'n Roll live on!
I'm both shocked and saddened....Such a tragedy, and my sincere deepest respect goes out to the families of all the one's it involved. It is also a sad day for all Rock'n'roll fans who forever will remember this tragedy, and my thought's also goes out to the band which will remember this date for all the wrong reasons!
Sad situation to say the least. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families. May god take those home that perished and bless those left behind. This is one of those situations where you just feel so helpless.

im really concerned and shocked about the fatal tragedy of rhode island ,i hope it won´t happen again but we all have the responsibility to demand security measures to all the people involved in management of events from bands to venues owners, including authorities.
from spain to america i offer the hand of a friend to all the people who suffers the tragedy.
As a Liverpool F.C. fan, I have known the tradgedies of Hysel and Hillsborough, and again "my" community comes together in suffering. Condolences to all those involved. The Rock community is thinking of you all.

I was at a gig here in England when pyro set the place alight. Luckily all got out, but boy was I scared. My heart goes out to all who have lost family or friends. I cried when I heard the news, I feel pain as it is repeated on our news bulletins throughout the day. God bless.

God bless! Words cannot express my sorrow for the families and friends of the victims. I pray that all of you will find peace and strength to get through this.
From two native Rhode Islanders now living in Louisiana, our hearts and thoughts go up to everyone involved in this tragedy.
I was at home in Iowa about the same time this tragedy occured(Thursday night).I had a crappy day at work.so I put in a random home video of me and some friends on our way to enjoy life and hang out on a nice sandbar on the Des Moines river.and the song by Great White "Rolling Stoned" happened to be on the radio in the car in that video.it took me back to a day I remember as being so peaceful and safe. That song was just released around that time.old Friends talking about the "good old days".the hardships that life can deal us all.But upon my arrival to work Friday morning...I happened to turn on the A.M. radio in my old Dodge...and
It was right at the start of the top of the hour national ABC news update. You know the Nightline music they play.
What I had to envision was at first troubling. The news was not good.many people have been hurt, many lost.and as the day progressed...the numbers grew higher.
I have been to many small clubs in the Des Moines area.I have been to a gathering no different in scale. You hear about the show...you find some friends to go get some tickets...and you go have a good time.Rock-n-Roll baby....that's what it's all about right???
Fellow humans who just want to be surrounded by like-minded earthly folks.a small part of my heart has darkened.I have met many people at shows just like the one that ended in an unbelievable...no words...can explain.
I wish I was there to help...I am crying as I type this.I have so much love to give to the people who are suffering now.may you all find a way to find some kind of understanding in all this.I am so saddened and overwhelmed.Yet I was never there.you are not alone in your grief.

More than 10 years ago a man was killed at a Queensryche gig in Belgium and I was there. I know how sad it is when something bad happens during an event.
I am very sorry for the one's that lost their lives. What a shame that it happened during a Great White concert, a band that I love since their very first album.
I don't want to preach, but shouldn't this be a lesson for the future. Don't do anything foolish in a small club. Fireworks and other gimmicks are meant for big venues.
Most hardrock fans are very nice people and we all are there to keep our music alive. Keep on rockin! Dunya
to everyone affected by this tragedy, my heart and prayers go out to you

All our thoughts and prayers from Chicago are being sent Rhode Islands way. Very sad news and not the way an evening of seeing one of you favorite bands should end. I'm hoping to hear good news from friends of mine that were playing there that night as well and I feel the sorrow and the loss in waiting that everyone else is going through. With sincere thoughts of hope and love from the Windy City...
Our thoughts and prayers are with all the families.

I've been following the news reports of this horrible and tragic loss. There should be words at a time like this, but there are none except to say that the victims, their families, Jack Russell's Great White, and everyone involved with this terrible thing, are in my thoughts and prayers. May God grant you peace as you search for answers, Wisdom to guide your steps, and most of all Grace to hold up beneath this enormous load.
Sincerely,
Theresa B.
There are never words that you can express to console someone who has lost someone close to them, all we can say is that our prayers are with them, and the band Great White, I can't imagine the grief they are going through right now. They were just in our town a couple of weeks ago and put on one hell of a good show. It's so sad that something like this had to happen. It's a sad day in rock.
I am just so very very sorry for your loss.
I am a New England fan of Great White and have seen them several times at The Station. I have also been to The Station probably 20-30 times over the last 7 or 8 years, and I was planning on going that fateful night of Feb 20. I had been trying to persuade a friend to go with me the week before, and he was all ready to if he could get the next day off from work. Well, it turns out he couldn't. I was then going to go alone, but the day of the show I decided not to.
My main reason for not wanting to go was a friend that I lost to suicide about 6 months ago. He was the person I went to The Station with on virtually every trip there, and I hadn't been back since his death. I knew if I went alone, I would be very sad thinking about him the entire night. I feel as if he is now my guardian angel, because, if it weren't for his memory I would have been there, and I highly doubt I would have gotten out alive.
If he had still been alive, we would undoubtably been there together, near the front of the stage, and we would have perished in the flames together.
I was awakened at 7:15 am on Fri morning by a call from my friend who was going to go to the show with me. He was worried that I had still gone, and was relieved that I had not, as he told me the terrible news.
As the day wore on, and the news got worse and worse, I began to realize just how lucky I was that I had not gone. I have watched the news non-stop since then, and have thought of nothing else. As I see the video of those people, I can see myself there and I can feel their emotions as if they were my own. I can not believe how quickly things went from bad to worse, and I don't know how fast my reaction would have been, or if I would have been close enough to an exit to make it out. A million scenarios have run through my mind, each one with a different ending. My mind especially goes to my wife and 19 month old son, and what horror they would have gone through had I decided to go to this show. There are just so many emotions racing through my mind at this time, and I don't know how long this will go on for. I know I will not forget this terrible tragedy as long as I live.
My heart goes out to all those who lost their lives that night, to the survivors who are recovering from all of those horrifying burns, to the ones who made it out who will forever be haunted by the images that they saw that night, and to the families and friends of those lost souls.
If there is anyone out there who would like to correspond with me about this event, please feel free to do so.
My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to everyone involved in this tragedy. No words can take away the pain and sorrow that this has caused so many people. Please take comfort in the fact that music fans around the world are thinking of you, your loved ones, and the victims of this aweful event. We unite to share our strength with you.
My deepest sorrows to all those who were at this show, and who I've shared enjoyment with at other Station concerts and RI shows...also to their friends and families. You are all in my prayers.
Jon Serbst
My condolances to the families of this tragedy, the wives, husbands, children and bandmates. Our prayers are with you.
I am still in shock over this tragedy. Great White is a great band, and the people that came to celebrate their music never thought a tragedy as great as this can happen as fast as it did. We all place our lives in the hands of others to assure our safety, and my thoughts and prayers go out to all of those that suffered in this tragedy as they are finally in the hands of One who can truly take care of them.
I live in Connecticut and had been to the Station three times previously. My wife and I were considering going to this Great White show but ended up not going. I am still so sick about this event that I can barely stand it. My most sincere heartfelt sympathies go out to all the families and friends of the victims of this horrible tragedy. This one hits way too close to home in so many ways. May God bless all of you and help you through this tragic time.
Brad
This is truly a tradgedy. My thoughts and prayers to all the families of the victims and the wounded, and also with Great White in hoping that Ty Longley is found safe and sound. Rock concerts are not supposed to end like this, they should be a celebration, not a tragic ending to someones life that just came to enjoy the music they love listening to. God Bless.
Can't help but feel that many of the lost were people similar to myself in the way that they only wanted to see a band and have fun. This is sad and I am very saddened for EVERYONE involved. From the club owners, band, right down to everyone who lost someone to the tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
My condolences to all touched by this tragedy. May the band and crew members find comfort for their sorrows and continue bringing joy to others with their talents. Never Change Heart - GW
I am greatlty saddened by this tragic event event. All the victims will be remembered for their love of music. I send my sympathies to every victim's family individually and hope that you realize that these people were strong. There are no better people in the world than rock fans and because of this grave tragedy, Rhode Island will never be the same
I am also heartbroken by the events of Rhode Island. My family & I send our prayers and condolences to the fans' families.
With Love From Sorrowful Stranger And Still...

My deepest and sincerely symapthy goes out to all of the victims of this horrible tragedy! May God bless you and comfort you in your time of loss!
I don't know if my words will help anyone but I hope so. This tragedie makes me really really sad. I cry everytime I think, read or hear about it. As a music fan I go to a lot of shows and these are made to show your love for music...it's really sad that something like this happened. My thoughts and prayers to all the families going through this.

My prayers to everyone diectly involved. I also pray that this is viewed as a most horrible accident. Please, lets not make matters worse. What more can be said...
What A Sad Day It Was. Hopefully It Never Happens Again. My Condlences Go Out To The Family And Friends Who Were Killed And Injured.
I cannot begin to understand this tragedy. My heart and prayers go out to all those affected by this.
I, along with most of my many friends, am a fan of Great White (and many other rock bands like them) and I stand behind them as they are a great bunch of guys I've met many times over 10 years or better being a fan of great music like theirs. I am, however, also a fan of human life and although I cannot begin to comprehend what happened in Rhode Island, I can I magine the pain and suffering to those friends and families of those involved as well as the band who it also appears have to lost one of their guitarists in this horrible tragedy. Mine, my friend's, & my family's prayers are with ANYONE who was touched by this horrible night.
What a sad, sad, time for rock n roll. No one knows truly what to say at a time like this, but no one deserves to die seeking to be entertained at a concert. Hopefully this isn't the end of Great White's career, I can only imagine the lawsuits that will be thrown at them. People have to understand that this was truly an accident, Great White are a band for the fans, they obviously don't make a whole lot of money anymore, they just want to entertain, they love the fans. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved. What a horrible, tragic, thing this is.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the friends, families, and co workers of all those who lost their lives in the tragedy at The Station. As soon as all the pointing fingers stops and people get to preventing anything even remotely close to this again we will be a better place. I've been a Great White fan for many many years, this unfortunate event has affected not only a city but the music industry and it's fans as well. Life can be very short and unexpected, don't forget to let those you love how much they mean to you.

What a sad turn of events, at what was meant to be a joyous occasion. My thoughts go out to all involved, either directly or indirectly.
"My heart is empty
Like cold open ground
Where ghosts & memories
Follow you round
Replacing old friends
No more to be found
All gone their ways..."
from Great White's 'Gone With The Wind'
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the victims, their families, and friends. God Bless Us All.
Each day could be or last with the ones we love...define your purpose in life, clarify & strengthen your relationships with others. Life is to short and ends to fast. God's Speed.
Please accept my deepest sympathy to all family and friends who have lost loved ones. I have to say that Jack Russell has always been loyal to the fans and I know his heart is bleeding beyond imagination, so if you can please find it in your heart to pray for him and the rest of the band that will help you heal as well.
My sincere condolences to those who were lost and my sincere prayers for the recovery of the injured.
My prayers are with you all.May all those who left us have front row seats in HEAVEN.
Our deepest sympathy to those who lost loved ones in this terrible accident.
To the friends of those who are lost forever or are still suffering, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
May God Bless each and everyone of you in this time of need.
My thoughts and prayers go out all the victums along with their families and friends. As a fellow New Englander, we have lost many of our own. Rest in peace.
As a musician who has played on many of the same stages that Great White and their contemporaries have played on, I am extremely saddened by the events of February 21, 2003. Musicians and fans of melodic rock are loyal to it because it represents fun, energy, and a moment in time or a memory that touches each of us. The tragedy at The Station is an event that should never be forgotten...it's the least we can do to honor the mothers, fathers, sons, daughters and commrades that perished. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I would just like to say this: your friends and family are at a far better concert in a far more majestic place than here. My prayers are with you who are left behind.
God bless the souls of those who paid the ultimate price - we'll meet again someday...
The thought of this horrific tragedy is simply devestating to me. It is such a shame to know that these fans died enjoying one of lifes simplest pleasures. My sincerest condolences go out to the friends, family and victims of this senseless act. May all of those that were injured be miraculously healed and those that did not survive rest in peace. If anyone out there would like to discuss what they are feeling or simply would like someone to talk to please feel free to contact me. God Bless...

The Orange Sky wishes to express our deepest sympathy to the souls and families affected by this horrific tragedy.Words can't describe the sadness this occurence has generated around the world and we wish all affected, God's blessings and our prayers are with you all.We shall all recover from this and the spirit of music will lead the way..........God Bless..........Richard,Nigel,Nicholas & Obassi.
I was very shocked at the news of this terrible tragedy. I have been to several rock concerts, and I rank them in with some of the best times of my life. It is a sad day in the world when people must pay the ultimate price for what they love. My thoughts and prayers go out to their families. God bless.
All I can say is I'm Sorry. I'm sorry for those lost, their families, and all who were involved.
I truly feel sorry and send my condolences to the family and friends of the people who perished in this horrible tragedy. It is also sad that Great White is going to probably end as we know it. Jack Russell and company will certainly be held liable for 96 counts of manslaughter. I think they should be, especially if what the club owner says is true....that he did not give permission for pyro at the show. They did not intend for this to happen, but somebody has to be accountable. I am a Great White fan and it saddens me to write this, but these are my feelings and I do not control them.
May the victims of this terrible event rest in peace.
I pray for your family and friends and as a fellow human being..you have went ahead and gone home too soon..we will meet again~
This community that we call the Great White "family" mourns the loss of the lives of those who loved rock music and in particular Great White. The band has lost a talented and respected musician and more importantly a friend. My heartfelt sympathies to all who have lost loved ones in this tragic accident. To Jack and the band - we (the fans) will always be there for you. God bless you all.
The tragedy of yesterday's events will live in the hearts of all rock fans, just as all sad events that have happened at venues in the past. Our prayers and deepest sympathy to all who were injured or killed. There are no words....
To Jack and all - we will stand behind you the only way we can, as fans.
Heather, Sam and Jake
I am still feeling sick over what has happened. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone connected to this horribly tragic accident.
I have been a Great White fan for many years and have attended many of their concerts. My heart goes out to the band and crew and especially to Ty's friends and family.
I just don't know what else to say.
My heart reaches out to all of the families, friends and loved ones of those who perished in the tragic fire of Feb 20th and to
those who have been left in it's aftermath. My only comfort is
that those souls who perished are in a better place.
My heart is filled with sadness, compassion and even anger. Sadness for those who lost loved ones. Compassion to those who survived and still ask "Why me?". Anger to those individuals who thought that the use of pyrotechnics in such a small, confined space was a wise idea. May the rest of the world see the errors of such actions and never allow for this to happen again.
To all those who lost loved ones, I pray for you and for your loved ones on this rainy night, and I can only hope that you
will find the strength, hope, faith and love to carry on. Your
loved ones did not die in vein, they were fans of the most beautiful thing ever created....music. May they rest in peace eternally.
Marc
It is a very sad tragidy.my heart goes out to everyone that has been affected by this. its so hard to believe.people were just trying to enjoy a night out. and to see a great band. It makes my heart hurt.
First off, let me start by saying I am truly and deeply saddened by the tragedy that happened on Thursday night. My heart is filled with so much pain for those who lost their lives in the fire. The true pain is left for those who have survived and the families who lost their loved one. Not to take away from this tragic event, but I do not understand why the people inside, while fleeing for their lives did not try to evacuate the building in a more orderly fashion? I do know that in a situation like this people do panic and loose focus of others around them, but do you think that more people would have survived if they had only tried to clear the doorway without pushing one another? I have heard of people actually being pulled back into the club by others. Those people have now lost their lives because of others. I can't imagine what or how I would of reacted in the same situation, but I do think that if people were a little more attentive to their surroundings, and have tried to keep a clear and calm state of mind, the people who were trapped in the doorways may have gotten out alive. It is so sad that people only think of themselves when faced with such a horrific event. Please do not take my words as cruel or mean, I am not trying to anger anyone, I just feel so sick to my stomach thinking of the people trapped so close to life outside of the door, but because people trampled others they all died. I also want to comment on the band, I feel that they may be responsible or at least negligent for what has happened. I am not saying that others may not be to blame, but people that have careers where pyrotechnics are involved, should at least know that you do not have this type of prop in a wooden building with such a small ceiling space and where the crowds are so close to the stage. I have worked in nightclubs before, and I can honestly say, I have never been in one that had the room to use such equipment. Also I feel that the owners who are respected newscasters, would never allow such an event to take place especially in their own property. Permits were in place for everything but this. They were also there that night taping a piece on club safety. How ironic. I did hear another club owner had a similiar scenario with this band. Once he was aware of the situation, he put a stop to it. I am sorry that the band will always have this hanging over them, and especially if they lost their lead guitarist, but the family who's loved ones will never come home again, will never be able to tell them how much they loved them. I myself will never be able to go to a club without thinking of those lost because of carelessness on someones part. Can you imagine, a night of fun, flirting and so on could be a death sentence to some?
I'd just like to send my condolences to all involved in this horrible tragedy.
This is an unbelievable tradgedy, and although I don't have much relation to the accident, I am from 'the Great White.. North' so, maybe in spirit I'm related. My condolences go out to all lost in the accident which could of been prevented.
My sincere condolences to all those who perished and injured and for those who got out and had to watch the horrible scene. My heart breaks for all involved, including all the fire and rescue workers who had to witness such a horrific scene. Wishing peace to all the families and friends. ALR Gloucester MA
Obviously, I am shocked and saddened like everyone else.
The only thing meaningful that I can add to what has already been said is to say "don't let this be something that is forgotten in 2 weeks". Take the shock and the devastation that you feel right now and use it to make this world a better place. We are a society that CONSTANTLY suffers human tragedies and yet it seems all we can do is grieve and move on. If you truly feel the pain of the lives lost, as I do, then take this opportunity to make a change in society. Start thinking more of how your daily behaviors affect others and make a change for the better. Don't let this tragic event be an end to 96 lives, but rather, let it be a beginning to many new, kinder lives.
My sincere heartfelt sympathy goes out to all the friends and families that were affected by this tragedy.
My heart goes out to the victims of this horrible incident, their families, and to Great White. This was a human accident; I'm sure Great White nor the club owners ever imagined such a thing would happen. God bless to all; I will keep everyone in my prayers.
I think I am still in shock as i speak! This is a very sad thing!I was scheduled to go see GW in Pinellas Park FL a few weeks ago,but changed plans last minute!
Let us pray to the "Man in The Sky" for all that parrished Thursday Eve and pray for those still in th hospital! Recover quickly!!

So sad... a day we must never forget!

My heart goes out to the victims and their families. What a terrible thing to happen. My thoughts and prayers are with all those involved.
My heart goes out to the victims and their families. What a terrible thing to happen. My thoughts and prayers are with all those involved.
There are no words to describe my pain. They were rock fans just like us. Condolences to the families of the victims, I will pray for them R.I.P.
My heart sinks when I think of what they went through and what the families are going through. Especially being a mom, I try to imagine how it would feel if my own child was in a fire like that and just the thought of it brings me to tears. My thoughts are with them all.
I am still in shock at how life is so fragile. Music helps to console but we never forget. chippewavalleyrockfest@yahoogroups.com send their deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to anyone affectesd by this terrible tradegy.
As a veteran of the clubs from the late 1980's I spent many a night in the front row at a show. Most of these clubs were crowded, dirty and old. Exits were rarely clearly marked and security was a joke. I shudder when I think that I could have found myself in the same spot as those poor souls. My heart aches for them and their families. My love to them all.
In a German TV-news I've heard abou this terrible catastrophe.
My deepest thoughts are with the victims and the families affected by this tragic.
I've been a metal fan for a long long time as most here are i'm sure. We've all been in situations where this could have happened to any one of us. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Ty and all those who were lost along with their families and loved ones. 96 more souls are taking that long and winding walk up that "Stairway To Heaven" God Bless
My thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathies, go out to all those affected by this tragedy.
as a long time rocker who loves the small venues, i find this whole thing maybe the geatest tradgity in rock and roll history. to think some dumb ass brought in pyros to this size and type of venue disqusts me. any one with half a brain could see the writing on the wall. my thoughts and prayers go out to the hundred effected by the tragity. and who is to blame the venue owners pointing at the band and the band pointing back. all i know is im sure glad im not in thier shoes. the lawyers are gonna have a field day on this one. but again my thought go out to the victims and i hope they all get some kind of justice.
A terrible day for great music and even better fans my heart goes out to the families of the victems. Lets hope this will teach uswe can just enjoy good music without worthless pyro
my heart and prayers go out to all the families who lost a loved one in that terrible tragedy.
I am deeply moved by this and i am completely shocked at what happened. This should never had happened.
My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.
My sincerest thoughts and prayers for all those affected by this tragedy. I know this whole sad story has been on my mind since the night it happened and I saw it on the news. The magnitude of what has happened is so huge it's hard to comprehend but just know that people from all corners of the world are thinking of you and praying for you in your loss. ~ Judie, Vancouver, BC, Canada
My heartfelt condolences and sympathies go out to each and every person affected by this tragedy. It really makes you think how precious each day we have on earth is and it could have been any one of us. God bless all the families.
I am just devastated over what happened and will never get over the shock of this tragedy! I am a long time GW fan who has seen them serveral times over the years. Let me just say that they never needed anything added to their show because the quality of the performance was always enough. I find it extremely questionable and unfortunate that a decision was made to use pyro at venues as small as The Station. That being said, I know that there was never any intention to hurt anyone as far as the band or crew are concerned. This is simply a bad call that resulted in an utter catastrophe. None of us can imagine the feeling and perspective from GW and it's management in this terrible time. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of those lost and injured, the band and crew, as well as all who witnessed and survived this disaster first hand. Godspeed to all.

I am still numb. The video of the event was horrifying. A grim reminder of our fragile mortality. My deepest sympathies go out to all of the families and friends of the victims. This is now a town touched by tragedy and they will never be the same.
To the Derderians: I extend my deepest sympathies to you. Your obvious pain breaks my heart. In your anger at the aftermath, please remember that the band had nothing but the best of intentions. They wanted to put on a great show and entertain those who turned out to support them. A tragic error in judgement led to a complete disaster. In judgement remember mercy.
To Jack and all of the other members of Great White. Please know that none of us feel you had any intention to cause harm. While I am quite sure there will be a HUGE tangle of legal liabilities to sort through, our deepest and most heartfelt sympathies go out to you as well.
A sad day for the metal/hard rock community.
thoughts and prayers to all involved in this tradgic event.from your friends overseas in the u.k.....mark.
Lost for words... my thoughts and prayers go to the families and friends of those lost in such a tragic way. May they rest in peace.

Like everyone else has said, this is truly a terrible accident. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the families and victims of this tragedy. God Bless you all. Kerry
Words cannot express the shock I saw on the news of this horrific tragedy. My heart goes out to the victims. My thoughts are with them and their families.
A tragedy such as this one NEVER should have happened. My heart goes out to all the families who lost their loved ones. My prayers go out to all those who lost their lives.
Our thoughts are with all of you who feel this loss in one way or another. Keep the spirit alive.
There's not much to be said except that I, too, am so sorry this terrible tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with everybody affected by the conflagration. We've lost some great rockers of a dying breed, and it hurts. God only knows why these things happen to good people.
music is light.rest in peace.
Its a tragedy as to what has happened. I'm from Montana, and My condolences and prayers go out to all that has suffered in this tragic accident.
Regards,
Jeff
My heartfelt condolences to everyone involved in this shocking tragedy. God bless.
It's something that never happens and then when it does, a shocking feeling overcomes you and that's because so many harmless people died, watching a concert. My condolences go out to all of the victim's families, my heart goes out to them.
My heart cries for all who have lost in this terrible tragedy. We can only hope to learn from this horrible accident, so that it may never happen again ever.
Walk On.
Harold
My deepest and sincerest condolences go out to the families of the victims who lost their lives in that very horrible tragedy. I was fortunate enough to meet Great White a few years back and have attended their concerts many times. I can honestly say they were a very down to earth bunch of guys. I can never picture the band being reckless enough to do something that would endanger their fans.
Thoughts and prayers to everyone affected in this senseless tragady. It has to make you think, though, life can end at any place and at any time. Everyone should get themselves right before God and give their heart to Jesus Christ before it's too late. I'm not trying to preach, but it would help those left behind to know that they know, that they know that their loved ones are in Heaven.
My thoughts go out to the families, victims, and to the band in this terrible tragedy. This kind of loss hurts me deeper (even though I did not know anyone personally), because these people shared the love I have of 80's hard rock/metal music. I hope we never seen anything like this ever again.
Words are simple not adequate to convey the depth of my sympathy for everyone involved in this nightmare. I just wept in front of my computer screen as I read the first-hand accounts today on the board. My prayer for everyone involved is that God would comfort you and envelop you in His loving arms as you mourn the great loss of those precious to you.
My heart goes out to all the other friends and families that lost a friend/loved one. My friend/drummer of my band Dale was one of the first seven bodies that were identified today. It brought tears to my eyes to know that so many people were lost in this tragedy. I practiced with him alone the night before (just the two of us) and we spoke of the show. He mentioned he was going to attend with some friends and told me I should go. Being a work night I decided not to attend. The next morning I saw the news and immediately tried to reach him. The friend he was with was carrying his phone and informed me that he was missing. His friends managed to make it out with their lives that night. Thank God. I will miss you Dale!
This is a bad dream I wish I could wake up and this had never happened. This year had started with too much tragedy, My heart goes out to Great White with the loss of their guitarist and soundman. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.
Tom Mathers
Unbelievable. My warmest and sincere condolencies.
If I lived in Rhode Island, there's a very good chance I would have been there. I live for Rock and live music, it is a part of my life that keeps me looking forward and I am sure that everyone that will read this feels the same. My condolences to all that this tragedy has affected.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims, the families, friends, the victims who are still fighting for their lives, the band Great White, and their fans.
GOD Bless.
I just want to express my love and sadness for these families. It is a total tradegy that this had to happen and my heart truely goes out to each and every one of you. I just wish that there was soo much more that I could do.
As a 40 year old fan of rock music, this reminds me of the hurt I felt after 9/11. Those tragic events took away our innocence and my belief we were untouchable.
The tragedy in Rhode Island tears at my heart. Going to shows or listening to music has always been an escape for us. A place to get away from the sometimes harsh realities of life. I never imagined such a horrible thing could happen at a place people come to celebrate.
I have been to over 250 shows in large arenas as well as many, many clubs just like The Station. I don't know if any of us will look at shows the same anymore or go to a show without thinking of those poor people who lost their lives in this tragedy.
My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to all the family and friends of the people affected by this horrible event.
Rock and Roll music fans are a family and we are all hurt by this tragedy. I think we need to do something in tribute to these people.
The first thought that comes to mind is something we can easily do at every show we attend from now on in tribute to them.
When I first started going to shows in the 70's, lighters in the air was something that was done when the show was over and the fans wanted the band to do an encore. Then it became kind of a hokey thing to do when a band would play a ballad.
We could all hold our lighters up in tribute to the poor souls who lost their lives at the begining of every show when the lights go down. Sort of like an eternal flame. They will never be forgotten.
We could also get someone to make arm bands with the date and number of people who perished. We could sell them and donate the proceeds to the Fire Relief fund or start another fund later. T-shirts is another idea. We gotta do something.
My thoughts are with the families & friends of those not yet accounted for and for those that were injured or killed by this tragedy. Music is a celebration of life, and I feel immense sadness that this has occurred.
My condolences to the friends and family of those lost in this terrible accident. No one particular is to blame in this, it's just a sad thing that it happened. Within the darkness, you will find a light....
Now other clubs are looking at their escape exits and making sure people know where they are, to avert otehr tradgedies from happening.
The best part of living is to do it with everything that you have! No regrets, no what might have beens!
As a music fan and Great White fan, I am saddened, not only by the event, but by the fact that the finger pointing has already begun. I am in total disbelief at the way other promoters are stepping into the spotlight to say that bands have used pyro without their permission also. I believe Jack Russell when he says they had permission. At least Jack has the guts to speak himself. The club has been speaking through lawyers. As a former police officer, I found that about half of what a lawyer says is lies, the other half is made up.
To these or any other other promoters or venue owners, if you are not wanting pyro used at your venue, then CHECK IT! If anything happens, and you later say that you were not informed, then shame on you. It is your responsibility to check all details of the show. As a former stage crew member for a large venue, I can assure you, our manager ALWAYS knew every detail of every show.
As a firefighter, I pray for my brother firefighters and what they must be going through after having to see what they did. It is bad enough to walk into the gates of hell to help others, but to have to remove their lifeless bodies is something that you never forget.
To the people who perished, those who are still suffering, and to the band, I offer you my sincerest condolences and my prayers. May God be with you and your loved ones during this time of great need.
My condolences to the family and other loved ones of the victims. My prayers are with you, and with those who perished so tragically. May they rest in peace with God, and may the injured pull through and recover from their injuries. You are our brothers and sisters, and we will remember you.
My sincere condolences to you, your families and loved ones. May God comfort you at this tragic and difficult time.
What happened at the station on that fateful night will be remembered in the memories of everyone I'm sure for a long time. A tragedy like this shows everyone just how short life can be. The world is in mourning as is the rock world. Let us hope that a tragedy like this will never be repated. R.I.P to everyone who was lost , and our thoughts are with the victims families and survivors.
Very sad, this is a tragedy that should not be allowed to be repeated anywhere.
My condolences to all those personally affected by this awful disaster.
god bless.........
My deepest heartfelt prayers go out to all the families of those who were injured or who died in this horrific fire. I for one have been to hundreds of club shows and you dont think about things like fire or exits. You are going to have a good time and hear some great music. Thats what Rock and Roll is about. God Bless all those souls who were lost.
MY HEART GOES OUT TO ALL THE VICTIMS AND ALL THE FAMILIES FOR THERE LOSS
In memory of those fans and the guitarist and sound man and to the families and survivors....we salute you....we will never forget this
Not much to say about this tragedy ...

There is nothing I can say to take away your pain or make things better for anyone but I feel as though the least I could do for anyone is let you know I am completely "heartbroken" over this extreme tragedy. Please accept this little offering of my sympathy it is all I have to give though if I could I would give more.

Es una verdadera tragedia, mis mas sentidas condolencias para las familias de todas las personas que lamentablemente fallecieron o resultaron heridas. Todos los rockeros estamos de luto. Great White los apoyo.
Well my sincere condolences to all family members, who have suffered this terrible loss....In God we Trust....long live rocknroll.........nothing else to add what has already been said...sheer sadness and yet more heartache for our friends across the big pond.....R.I.P.......
Please go tell everyone you care about in your life HOW MUCH YOU CARE ABOUT THEM. Life is short and precious and you never know when your life will drastically change. We all need to take care of one another. Let's learn from this tragic event.
My prayers and thoughts go out to the families who lost someone during the concert. It's such a shame this happened. I can only imagine the pain their families are feeling right now. Please, keep your heads up and know that you will be seeing your lost one(s) soon.
My heart hangs low. This celebration of life we call rock 'n roll has had quite possibly its saddest day ever. I am so very sorry. I pray for the families and friends of those lost in this tragedy, and I pray for those that were there and are now hospitalized...May your hearts, minds, and bodies heal to live a long and happy life...

My thoughts and prayer go out to all those who were at The Station. The people killed, injured and who survived are truly Rock and Roll Hero's - May God Bless You!
I am so shocked and horrified about this terrible incident. As a huge rock fan I never thought anything like this could happen, and my heartfelt condolences go out to all of the lost souls who lost their lives, their families, the band, and their loved ones. May God be with you.
I'm so sorry this happened. I really don't know what to say except they're all in a better place than here now.

It could have been any of us. I've been to countless rock concerts in my life. It's a shocking thought that some of our fellow music loving brothers and sisters, out for a night of great rock'n'roll, were injured or perished in such a horrific way.
I would like to extend my condolances to the families and friends of the dead and injured.
Our thoughts are with you. May their spirits find peace.
It is difficult to know what to put. Although I'm only vaguely a Great White fan, as a rock music lover, they and the poor people that were at the show all share my passion for this great music. I can only endorse all that has been said before and hope that as many as possible will recover. Dave, England.
Being a hard rock, and also a New England area resident this one really hits home. I frequent a bar / grill literally blocks away from THE STATION. I knew someone who was there but made it out. Its a terrible situation for all involved. My thoughts and prayers to everyone including the ones who did escape as well. May God bless all of you.
My sincerest codolences are with the families of all the victims of this horrible tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with you! I am a fellow 80's metalhead. This just teaches us to never take one day or one second of life for granted. God Bless!
I've been a long time fan of Great White since '84.My prayers and thoughts go out to Jack and the band, the whole community in Rhode Island, and especially the family and friends of the lost souls who were there to see one of the greatest rock bands from the 80's.
May all the loved ones.......Rest In Peace...
I live minutes away from The Station and I came extremely close to going that night. However, my friend and I was at a casino a state over in Connecticut, and instead of leaving early so we could grab a bite to eat and get to The Station for a good place to stand, we kept on gambling and drinking and lost track of time.
We arrived at The Station at 10:15 an had trouble finding a parking space, the first time in I-couldn't-tell-you-how-many-concerts this has happened to me. When we were walking to the door, we saw three girls heading back to their car and I asked them if the show was sold out. They said no, but it wasn't worth going in because everyone was packed like sardines and the only place we'd get to see the band was at the bar, and believe me, you can't see anything from that view.
So we left. I had a Great White live CD we listened to, and we went to a local pub to drink and watch a basketball game. I didn't find out what happened to The Station until I left at 12:15, and believe me, I was numbed by it all.
I am very, very stunned at what happened and very heartbroken and saddened over what the families and friends of those in the club are going through. The state of Rhode Island and the neighboring cities of Massachusetts have really supported these people who have been affected by this tragedy 100 percent, and others have really stepped up their efforts and that has been very good to see...
My sincere and deepest condolences and prayers go out to everyone. I mean it. Those people at The Station are good rock fans just like I am, and it's very upseting to see something like this happen.
-- Eric Benevides, Fall River, Mass.
As a mobile and club Disc Jockey, I send my condolences to the families of all involved. Although I'm not a big fan of Great White's style, I certainly admire their talent and would never wish this kind of thing on anyone.

My condolences to everyone affected by the tragedy. All I can offer is my prayers. God bless everyone who passed away and may they find peace in the afterlife.
Je suis trčs triste. Une pensée émue pour toutes les personnes qui sont touchées par ce drame. Toutes mes condoléances. Et courage ŕ Great White, qui n'est pas responsable de ce drame. Rest in Peace.
I cannot even begin to express the sadness I feel for the friends and families of the victims of this tragedy. Their dedication to keeping the rock n' roll train rolling will never be forgotten. I hope that all that were affected are able to pick up the pieces from this horrible tragedy. Keep hope alive.
I was at a loss for words when I heard about this terrible tragedy. My prayers go out to all of the victim's families and loved ones who are going through a painful and mournful period right now.
The time of mourning can be a very long time for some. I hope that everyone, including the band, will respect this time---however long it may be---for families and friends of those killed in The Station Club disaster so that they can begin the next appropiate time of healing their wounded and broken hearts.
I´m totally shocked and have hard to find words of what happened.Been a rock fan and concertgoer for nearly 20 years. Rockfans all over the world have allways been like a one big family. I´m deeply touched by this tragedy. My deepest thoughts and prayers to the victims, their families and friends. My thoughts also goes out to the band. Please not forget they were there to give people, fans, friends a good time when something went badly badly wrong. GOD BLESS
It is a sad time for all the families that lost their loved ones during that tragedy Thursday Nite! We must go deep in prayer and ask God to help those that were involved! I also feel terrible for the band Great White and Jack Russell! I am sure that they did not intend for this to happen, but pyrotechnic's should never be used inside any club especially when you are playing to 200 or 300 people! The sole purpose of performing in a small club is to get intimate with the crowd, not put on a full blown stage presentation! That should be left in the arena's! My heart goes out to all that perished, including survivors Jack Russell, Mark Kendall, and the club owners! Whatever the turn out will be in this horrible case,
1) Pyrotechnic's should have never been used inside a small club to begin with!!!!! It is way too dangerous!!!!
I love the band Great White and if they put their hearts together, their next mission should be to help all of the families that suffered!!!!
They should go back into the studio and write 10 new songs in relation to what has happened and give all of the money to all of the families that suffered in this tragedy! They should also give money to the club owners to help rebuild the club!
I do not want to put the blame on anybody, but as I said before, there is no place for pyrotechnics in a club!!!!!!!!!
May God be with them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is unfortunate to what happened on 2/20/03 at Rhode Island at the Great White featuring Jack Russell show...
Supposedly the club has allowed pyrotehnics to be used there in the past...If thats the case then they are to blame..........
Plese keep the victime and their families in our prayers
I am writing today because I'm not sure what else to do to help. I being a huge rock fan, have gone to many a packed club show. This is tragic, so very tragic, and my thoughts and prayers go out to anyone involved: the victims and families, the band, the club owners, firefighters, and all rescuers. I pray that everyone involved may find inner peace and strength to help deal with this tragic loss.
THIS IS A MAJOR SHOCK FOR ALL SUPPORTERS OF ROCK MUSIC

I can't believe this is true. No words can describe how tragical what happened at the Station Club. February 21st is a mourning day for the rock community as well. My heart beats for the people who lost their lives and their families left behind. We will never forget you. R.I.P.

All those people... one of them could have just as easily been me. I have been a fan of Great White for many years. I know one thing... I would have been right in front of the stage. Who knows where I would be now... If I had been there. I see the club ownder throwing blame. Many factors are to blame... but no one could have forseen this. Forget criminal charges! Don't let those peoples deaths be a negative thing...so that money is exchanged. It will not bring them back.

just say condolences to all people involved in this tragedy.
My family's prayers go out to all the victims of the tragedy at The Station Club. What a heart-wrenching, horrific tragedy. Please let us not forget the persons responsible for permitting the pyrotechnics to be used. A person or group of people made some very horrible mistakes and very poor decisions. But, they need our prayers, too.
It's sad when a tragedy such as this comes from something that is meant to bring happiness to people. It's a truly a hard thing to try and digest. My heart goes out to anyone who lost a loved one in this terrible tragedy!
This is truly a horrible tragedy and my heart goes out to all the families and friends who are suffering at this time. This could have been prevented and I hope other clubs, techs, promoters and bands will take proper measures and think safe so this can never happen again.
My condolences to the families and loved ones of those who died or were injured in this tragedy. My family and I will pray for you.
This may never happen again.
My deepest sympathy goes out to all touched by this horrible tragedy, a very sad day indeed. I only hope those searching for blame realise this was a terrible accident, nobody, the band especially, wouldv'e wanted this to happen. I can't even begin to imagine how the GW crew feel, the world is looking on with sympathy, not anger, guys, be strong and don't loose faith. RIP to the rock n roll souls whom died and my thoughts are with the families and the victims carrying the physical and emotional scars of this horrific tragedy, may Peace Love and Light be with you all through this very dark time.
My deepest condolences to all who lost loved ones in this terrible event. Best wishes to all involved. May Ty Longley be found...alive.
just a note to offer our condolences and sympathy to those who
lost loved ones in the fire. what a terrible accident.
it's bothered me all day- i've been to so many shows just like that one. once again, please accept our sympathy.
On behalf of Rebbeach.com and Kipwinger.com and their message forum families, please know we keep you in thought, heart and prayer. There aren't enough words or emotions to describe the sadness that has swept over not only the Rock n Roll Community, but the entire music world. We will carry the memories of all affected, with us, forver.
This is such a tragic moment for everyone, not just fellow rock fans who unfortunately have perished in this tragedy. My prayers and condolences go out to all who have lost family members in this unfortunate accident. I myself have seen Great White perform several times and it was always a great show. It's too bad that this is the last one your family members had paid to come and see. :-( You all have my deepest sympathies.
My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and families.
Words can't express the saddness I feel for those who lost loved ones...my sincerest condolences to all who were affected. This is hitting very close to home for me, as I am a HUGE Great White fan. I attended the GW show in Bangor, Maine two nights before the RI show. (they sounded as great as ever) I can't stop thinking, "what if". As someone stated earlier, how many times have many of us been jam-packed into some club or venue, just like The Station, watching a band? The last thing on your mind is how to get out if there's an emergency! That will definitely change for me. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims of this tragedy.
I am really sadened for the disaster that struck "The Station". Those who died were rock fans like me, so this tradegy effects me a lot. I hope the families involved are well, and God bless them.
My deepest condolences,...my heart is broken.
Paolino from Vercelli, ITALY
I am sure rock fans all over the world are thinking it could have been me. My heart goes out to all the families and friends of those involved.
There are no written words to explain these tragic incedences that we encounter in are lives, be it our own, or somebody else.We sit back an wonder why, how could this be,What lets this happen to us? Us never not knowing will always be a mystery to us.To the powers that be, sadly loved ones will forever be deeply missed.Let us all use this tragedy as a foundation to bring us all together as one, to offer our prayers, our deepest condolences, our most sincere heart felt feelings to the families, that they are not alone...we mourn with them. From all of us of Kamera to all of you abound,Please Pray, God Bless
I realize there are no words of comfort that can be offered during this tragic time. My heart and prayers go out to all those involved....I'm so very sorry. May you blessed with strength and faith to help you move on and keep their memory alive in your heart.....always.

My thoughts and sympathy are with the families of the people who had died!.
This is something unbelievable, i can't understand that this all can happen!!
Words too short..........
I couldn't help but cry as I watched the footage over and over and just thought to myself how many times I've went to see a rock show in a clube and how that could have easily been me. It is such a sad sad thing and all my thoughts and prayers go out to all!
A fire is a fire and this could happen at anytime. All Club-goers need to be aware of exits.Perfomers need to let patrons know of exits before shows. I myself had just seen GREAT WHITE in ATLANTA FEB.1OTH. From my own personal experiences in clubs, I don't remember over 1 or 2 exits, although I'm sure they were there. My condolences go out to everyone whose heart is crying over this terrible tragedy. These events are established for joy and for the love of music. My heart goes out to the survivors of this event and to the band for the heartache they must be feeling. All are in my thoughts and prayers.
My prayers are with those families involved and wish a speedy recovery to those in the hospital.
I am so saddened by this terrible tragedy.
My thougths and prayers go out to everyone that has been affected by this.
This one of the most horrific things I have ever heard of! I have been praying for all the families of those injured and killed in this incredibly tragic event. It really hits home because if that show had been in my area (North Mississippi), I KNOW many of my friends, and I, would have been there! I will continue to pray for all involved.
I work as a radio DJ in the uk and the scenes from the club were starting to come in as I was on air on 22/2/03 and it looked awful. To those who are injured or have lost loved ones, I can not imagine what you are going through, but my thoughts are with you. Totally shocking and it should never be allowed to happen again.
GOD BLESS ALL THE ROCK FANS AT THE STATION AND THEIR FAMILIES. GOD BLESS GREAT WHITE , MAY TIME HEAL THE PAIN IN OUR HEARTS.
Upon turning on the TV Friday morning, we could hardly believe what we were watching. It brought both shock and sadness. As the day went on and more information on the deaths and injuries came out, there was a deeper sadness.
We were planning on going to see Great White Thursday, February 27th in Madison, WI. We were looking forward to the concert that becomes so much more personal in a small venue. It is awful to think that a night that so many people can hardly wait to see come ends so horrible. Our prayers and thoughts are with everyone that was affected by this tragedy and all the rock fans out there that know the excitement that a concert like this can bring, yet feel the sadness that becomes so personal.
I hope that Jack and Great White lives on and we would gladly welcome them to Madison to show that the support and love of the music they bring lives on.
God Bless Everyone.
I don't know what happening in this country, disasters after disasters. I feel very very sad, angry, We need to stay united people, please stop the violence. We need to love each others. God, help those souls and give them the eternal life. Jack and members of the band, sorry, I love your music, I love rock and roll. I saw you in florida. Don't blame yourself, Jack, I know that you are a very good guy, you feel very sad, be strong because this world is going crazy. Take care everyone and god bless us.
We are so saddened by what has transpired. George was there that night but luckily went out with John for a ride. When they got back, the place was lit. His good friend Kevin Anderson is among the deseased. It is something that we will never forget in our hearts and minds. Words are never enough. Ty, Dr. Metal, Kevin and all who perished there, you will never be forgotten.
June
My deepest condolensces go out to family and friends of all the victims, as well as all who survived, the firefighters, and all others who had to witness this tragedy. Let's remember that it will impact all involved and hope they all can get past this. The media and politicians immediately point fingers, but let's remember that this is not an uncommon occurance, whether it be nightclub owners letting it slide without a permit or bands surprising all with the fireworks. It happens everywhere all the time. Instead, everyone should be focused on the well being of the survivors, friends, family, firefighters, and all that witnessed this. As well, all owners of clubs and bands that tour need to look at this tragedy and think not only about fire but all other worst case scenarios and work to prevent ANY deaths due to live performances. In memory of all who died that night...
Dwayne R.
I am speechless...my condolences go out to all who were touched
by this tragedy. The memory of those lost will be forever remembered in the beauty of "Music".
I was at the Great White show at Russell's in Bangor, Maine just 2 days before. I stood just five feet or so in front of Ty Longley all night. They put on a great show and yes they had the pyro at the opening of their set. I was quite suprised they did that in this club. I remembering seeing the spray of the pyro in front of the drum set hitting the ceiling and quite hard I thought. It was not a few sparks, it was more like a spray right into the ceiling from three different angles, just like the footage you see on t.v. I was horrified when I checked out melodic rocks website at 5:30 in the morning on Thursday. I just realized that I may have seen the last show Ty will ever play at and also maybe the last show Great White will ever play. This is still quite a shock to me. Words can't describe how I feel. It could have been me as I just saw Great White the show before on Tuesday night. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of all those who died and also with the band. I too am a guitarist and this hits home quite hard.
I am shocked as well as deeply saddened by the news.
My sincere thoughts go out to all.
Yesterday was a very rough day for me. I am one of the biggest music fan's. What happend was that event took my people away from me. My heart and prayers go out to all the families. I hope this in not the end of GREAT WHITE. Who would of ever thought? Peace Adam in Illinois, USA
My prayers go out to the victims and survivors of this tragic event. No words can express the emotions I feel right now.God be with you all.

I live nearby and the pain and grief is palpable...so many lost...so needless, so wrong.
Senseless. That's the word that keeps playing in my head. Just as the seven who perished in Cincinnati back in '79 led to changes in Festival seating, let's make sure the 96 who fell in Warwick leave a legacy that will protect others. Whether it's bands and management reassesing risk, or something as simple as patrons knowing where the nearest exit is, we need to honor these people. There's enough blame to go around. Finger-pointing is useless. Let's all work together to make sure this NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!
God be with the friends and families.
I'm totally in shock by the tragedy in R.I., words cannot describe how I feel...my thoughts a prayers go out to the families of the deceased & injured.
Let's hope something is learned by this...

As a Rhode Islander, born and raised, now living out of state, I thought of friends and family who may have been there or how easily I could have been there. I can't possibly comprehend the depth of sadness of the victims families but offer my condolences and prayers from the bottom of my heart.
It is always very sad when something that is based upon joy, like our common love of rock music, becomes the basis for tragedy. My deepest sympathy goes to eveyone who is affected by this disaster. Please know that all who love this art form will carry thier memories to the best of our ability.
My thoughts and prayers are out to all of the victims and their families. God Bless.
My prayers go out to the victims of this tragedy, especially for Ty Longley, whom I hope is found safe and sound.
To all those involved, our prayers and condolences.
A special shout out to the firefighters, rescue workers, and medical personel helping these people. We need people like you every day. Be enheartened and know that you are doing the greatest thing a human can do, helping fellow beings.
In deep sorrow I give my condelences to everybody involved.
My thoughts and prayer go out to the departed and there familes.
To our departed heavy metal comrades: Rock on! You are missed.
At work, when I heard the news, I was in shock. When I went home and watched the reports on the news, I was in tears. Like everyone in that club, we share a love for music. Music is with us, when we as individuals, hit all the high and low points in our life, almost like a timeline of our life. Last night, I turned to music to help me make sense of what happened to each person who was at that concert. My prayers have and will continue to go to the victims and families of this terrible accident. Lord be with our fallen Rock brothers and sisters.
Very sad indeed. Thoughts and prayers to those who died, their families, all who survived this nightmare, those who are still fighting for their life and the band.-CHarlie Mac
Our dearest thoughts and prayers to all victims, families and their friends to Rhode Island.God bless you all!

I am saddened by this tragic event, nobody expects something like this to happen at a concert, to all the people who lost loved ones I feel for you.
My thoughts are with all the people and families who were there... I'm completely shocked about what happened... A lot of people will be missed. Rest in peace.

I don't thínk that it helps anybody who's to blame for this tragedy.
I deeply regret what happend.
Let's hope that something won't ever hapen anywhere anytime again.
Let the music keep our spirits high.

My sincere love to all of those who lost someone in this tragedy. The Rock N Roll community is griving with you all. We all stand united in this.
To Great White: YOu are a truly great Rock Band who never sold themselves to commerce. Music can help to heal many wounds and if you continue to play the music we all love, I am sure you can add to this healing very much. Play on Brothers! We are with you.
I've been deeply distressed by the events in Rhode Island, more so, as it involves a band that I have loved for many years now. My deepest sympathies goes out to all Families,Friend's and Loved ones caught up in this tragedy.

It could have been any rock fan who's ever been to see a band in a small club.
There, but for the grace of God, are we all.
Thoughts and condolences to the families and fans devastated by this tragedy.
ON BEHALF OF MYSELF AND MY BAND ,OUR MOST HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO THE VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES OF THIS HORRIBLE TRAGEDY.GOD BLESS EVERYONE. :(
Who was responsible for this tour? Were they qualified to make all the arrangements for the band....apparently not.
I am very sad at what happened at the Great White preformance. Alot of bands use pyrotecknics at their concerts, It is a tragedy that this happened but it could have happened to anyone anywhere. My deepest sympathy goes out to the familys that lost loved ones and to the band for having to deal with this.
My heart goes out to the lost ones, their familys, the band, and everyone else effected by this tradegy... I'll pray for you!!!!!!!!

This saddens me so much, to think of all of the fellow rockers who were lost, and the pain they went through, but also that of their families. My hear goes out to all of them......
I cant believe what happened, seeing such a terrible accident like that, I can only wish condolances for the friends and families of those that were lost and wish a quick recovery for those that were injured.
A very sad day in the history of rock..
Deepest sympathies, from Australia..

I just wanted to add my sincerest condolences on this horrible horrible tragedy. This is something that won't leave my mind for a long time. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who lost loved ones, the injured and anyone else who was involved in this tragedy. God bless you all and stay safe.
I was shocked when I saw the news. It's terrible something like this has happened, and the fact it was at a concert of a band whom is loved so much by all of us only made it worse. My heart goes out to everyone who died and all the victims who survived this terrible accident. Let's pray for them and also hope something like this will never happen again.
Gabor from Strutter'zine Holland
Terrible news. Feel like I've just lost a bunch of friends. My thoughts to all the families of the victims and to Jack and the band. Met Jack a couple of times and he always treats fans like a long lost buddy. Can't even imagine how he must be feeling.
No words can express the numbness I felt when I heard the news..We are all a family in the Rock world and to everyone directly (or indirectly) affected....to the families, firends and band..Our prayers are with you
Our thoughts go out to those who lost loved ones, I am a fan of 80's rock, having seen Great White a half dozen times thru the years, they are about having a rockin good time, like Jack Russell stated in one interview "this is not what rock and roll is supposed to be about"
God bless
Alex

This is a very sad moment in time, I didn't know anyone involved but as a serious music fan my condolences go out to the families and may god be with the victims. Hopefully those involved with the show who are accountable will be held so, and hopefully something will be learned from this so it won't happen again. However, the price paid by many was much too high, so again, may God watch over those lost and the families and friends they left behind.
A tragic event that must never be allowed to happen again. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims.
What a tragedy...
I still can't believe what happened.
Many rockfans paid the highest price for their music...
My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims, their friends and families.
Also to the members and crew of Great White, who toured again after the break last year.... When they could know this would happen, of course they didn't make a come back tour... They don't have to blame thereself because It isn't their fault!!!
strength to everyone who needs it...
This is a huge tragedy. Let's save a prayer for all the victims and their families.

Our sympathy from your friends in the UK
I wish I could do something for all of you...I'm so sorry!

I saw the Great White show in Roskilde Festival in Denmark i 1998 where i was taking photos of the band. I know what a joy it is for music fans to see live music of their favorite bands. It is unfortunate that a true celebration of music ended so tragically. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families and friends of the people affected.
My condolences to all involved in this tragedy!
Can I suggest that the music community could pay their respects this weekend at every gig no matter how large or small. I am sure the gesture would be appreciated!
I've been a Great White Fan for years. And I love the USA. I don't find the words to express what I feel. It's a terrible tragedy. Our thoughts go to the people and families affected. Let's keep the Faith in God and Jesus-Christ. I pray the Lord their souls to take.
I'm sick inside. I feel I know the people, the human souls that make up Great White. This must be impossible to cope with. And some people are gonna blame them for it all. I think we all understand those people. To you who lost someone dear in this tragedy: Words are poor. They were there to have fun, listening to some good old rock'n'roll. Maybe they're gone because of a misunderstanding. It is without meaning. We think of you.
Una cosa veramente triste. Teo/Deddč
my heart goes out to all those who have suffered in this terrible tragedy.from myself and all the lovers of rock music in scotland, our prayers are with you.
Everyone at ulfTone music is terribly saddened by this tragedy. I couldn't help but cry when I heard that Ty Longley was among the missing. It is a very sad day for rock and roll and our prayers go out to everyone involved. Ty - my prayers are especially with you - I will never forget the good times we had last summer. Ulf Zick, Berlin, Germany
What a tragedy. Great White is one of my favorite bands, and as I live in Boston I guess I would had thought strongly about going there to The Station to see the show if I had had a car, but I don't. But many people like you and me just wanted to have a good time, and it is amazing how few minutes can turn fun into tragedy.
My prayers and thoughts from the bottom of my heart go to all the families, relatives and friends of those missing, injured or deseased. I wish that all the missing people at least could be accounted for and that many of those missing turn out to be okay, or at the worst, recovering in a hospital bed. I hope that 96 turns to be the top limit of casualties (as much as we all hope it was much less) and that all the injured recover successfully.
Take into account that you are not alone and that not only the Rock community, but everybody's thoughts and prayers are with you. May those who perished Rest in Peace and those who are struggling to survive keep being strong and push a little harder to stay with all of us, so we can keep rocking together.
To the families, relatives and friends of the victims, don't give up the fight and the hope for those hurt, and pray for the souls of those lost. When everything seem to fall down all of a sudden, don't give up faith, cause that sometimes may be the strenght we all need to carry all.
For now, what I can offer is to recite a prayer for Heaven's keep and for hope...... Sometimes that can be a very important matter of support.
G-d Bless us all.
Ours thoughts and Prayers are with all of you. Especially those that have lost a loved one!
John Blanchard
Jackson, Michigan
This is a terrible tragedy!
It feels unreal to read about the the Great White
concert that ended in total disaster,my heart feels like
it got a big hole in it,how many times haven´t we been to
gigs with fireworks but they didn´t end this way.
I hope though that the band and the people responsible for
using these kind of pyrotechnical stuff takes their
responsibility and not to try to run away from it.
It seems Guitarist Ty Longley is still missing and probably
also is a victim, our hearts are with you all.
Life comes knocking once in a while not to take it for
granted, rocknroll is about having a good time but for now
let´s take a minute and think about all who is lost.
Prayers from the heart for the ones who lost their lives in the Rhode Island tragedy! My deepest condolences to their families! May God be with them!
May the victims rest in peace and wishes of a good and fast recovery for the injured ones.
It's very sad to see that all the efforts made to bring some happiness to our community is, after all, going to be marked by this event. I can't get over this, have been thinking about this all day, had this show had happened in Vegas, where I live I would have went and tried to be close to the stage as possible. Life is so scary these days, every day on earth is so special and not to be taken granted. I will say a prayer for all who perished and the safety of Ty. These days are so scary and without the music to set us free it would be that much more difficult, I pray for these fellow rock fans and musicians... God bless! Jeff

I am a long time Great White fan and I have friends in New England that love Great White as well and I don't know if any of them went to the show or not. Whether they did or didn't I cry as I type this. These people showed their love for rock and died doing what they cherished. I do not blame the band or the club for what happened. I thank God for those who were saved and pray for the families and friends of those who perished or were injured. PLEASE, if you need someone to talk to we can talk back and forth. My e-mail is wolfbrother@freeze.com Please don't hesitate to write me. This is indeed a sad day. If you're looking, PLEASE Jack, don't blame yourself! Anyway, as it's been said, tell everyone you love that you DO love them. Life is so uncertain these days. If you write me I will listen and keep everything confidential. I feel it is the only way I can help with this tragedy. We as rock fans need to unite. Love to all of you and God bless the victims and their families and friends. May Ty be found alive.

To all the family and friends who lost loved ones in this tragic accident - my heart and prayers go out to each of you. It saddens me to no end that so many brothers and sisters of rock were taken from us in such a horrific tragedy. It can by no means make up for the very personal loss you must all be feeling right now, but I hope these words and prayers from fellow rocks around the world can bring some measure of relief to you.
Many of us did not know them personally, but they were brethen to us as well, we shared their colors, we lived each song with them, and in your tragedy - we stand with you as well.
To Jack and the band - bless you for doing what you have to remain public through this horrific ordeal and continue to show your fans that Great White is more than just rock and roll talk. Your continued presence through this tragedy and devoted support of your fans and their families is a true testament to the greatest of this band. Truly - Great White has always done their best for their fans, and we are still the better because of it. You have a life long fan in me.
God bless
George

Words are difficult at a time like this, but my sympathies go out to all in this tradgedy. We've all seen bands in small clubs and never imagined this could happen, let's hope we can ALL learn from this disaster.
I saw the Great White show in Atlanta on February 10. I know what a joy it is for music fans to see live music of their favorite bands. It is unfortunate that a true celebration of music ended so tragically. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families and friends of the people affected.
What a horrible tragedy. What can be said. May God
bless the fallen brothers & sisters, our thoughts & prayers
are with you.
My heart goes out to all the families that lost loved ones at the tragedy. I too am a big rock fan of 80's music. I too have discovered the pain of losing loved ones - my mohter this year. each and every soul that was lost is very tragic. Each occurence should make us all sit back and think how fortunate we were not to be there last evening.
Rock n' roll is not evil, the bull**** that sometimes goes along with it is suddenly misunderstood. We congregate to these events for a love of music and of each other.
Love and Peace and god bless the ones that have been lost.

God bless all the family and friends of the victims. May God comfort them in their time of need. This is one of the most tragic events in Rock N'Roll history and no one lost here will ever be forgotten. For me, this is the saddest day since 9/11. One can only hope and pray that lessons be learned from this event so future disasters can be averted.
Words can't express my feelings now. God Bless you all, and know, we are here for you.
This has come as such a shock. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims, their familes and friends and loved ones, to Jack and the band, and to those fans who managed to escape and will forever bear the scars of tradgedy.
My thoughts and prayers to everyone affected by this tragedy. had the show been in my hometown, who knows? It could've been me or any number of my friends who were lost.
To the family & friends of those who have departed, at least know that there are thousands of us who wish you the strength and guidance to make it through this terrible time.

My sincere condolences to the families and loved ones who lost their lives ...and to the victims that survived..Get Well Soon...
My girlfriend and I have been to three shows in the last year and a half and it could have very easily been us there. Life is precious and we could all check out at anytime, you just never know. All we can do is value the time we have and give thanks and gratitude to our loved ones. Our prayers and thoughts are with Jack Russell and the family and friends of all effected.
On behalf of those of the rock fans in western Canada, I would like to send many heatfelt condolences to the friends and families of those who were lost and those who were injured. I cannot begin to express my sorrow or even begin to imagine what you must be going through.
Please take solace in the fact that those who were directly involved in this tragedy were doing what they (and most of us) love...enjoying live rock and roll music.
In the words of another '80's rock band "heaven awaits your heart, and flowers bloom in your name...fly to the angels"
My prayers go out to the families of the victims, Great White, & the Station, also the people of Rhode Island. I've been to numerous cluub shows & this really hits home. We feel your sorrow & will continue to pray for you. God bless you. Gary Hummingbird

Still can't believe it. My thoughts and prayers with the victims and their families.
Being a huge music fan that has been to many shows myself, I can't imagine what those of you who survived must be feeling, as well as those of you who lost someone special. Our prayers are with you right now.
I sit here and write these words as I pray for 2 close friends who attended the show but are as yet unaccounted for. I drove by the site this afternoon and talked with friends and family members hoping and also praying for some kind of news that would give them and myself closure to this horrible tragedy. As someone who was brought up to believe in God, I'm at a loss for words when i try to explain why this happened to my 9 year old son. How can I make him understand that there's a God who watches over all of us but then lets 96 people burn to death. It just doesn't make any sense at all and it also reminds us how fragile life is and how fast it can disappear.
I'm still finding this hard to believe... To the families and friends of the deceased- I can't imagine the pain you must be going through, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of tragedy. Words can't describe the sympathy and sorrow I feel right now... God bless you and the souls that were lost.
This is the saddest day in Rock history. I knew no one from the accident but it was like I lost a brother or sister. I could'nt believe how affected I was when I found out. These types of tragedies can never be forgotten. I hope all bands and club owners will learn their lesson. Someone should take responsibility and be men. I think people would be willing to forgive the party if they fess up now!
I don't know what say. I'm still in shock.
Music is to be a release from daily troubles in life.
Lord please be with all the victims, please rest their souls.
What a tragedy...not in any way could anyone in their right mind put any blame on the band...they were there for the fans and something totally unexpected occured...it just goes to show how precious life is and that it can change in the blink of an eye...let us all sit back and count our blesings for the Lord granting us another day to grace his precious would he made...count your blessings and may God be with the victim's families of this great white tragedy...
Sorry to hear such bad news, for those people who lost their lives in this concert, I pray for all of you ..
So sad... please keep all who were involved in your thoughts and prayers (along with a safe return of Ty).
A very sad,
Chris "Shot" Stone
I am deeply moved by this. I have felt badly out of it all day. Although how bad I feel can't even compare to the pain of the freinds and families of the victums, I do want to say that we are all with you and our prayers go out to you guys.
may god be with everyone who was involved in this trajic event
It is impossible to express the sadness I feel.To the band and to the families of all involved,my thoughts and prayers go out.
Please, don't rush to judgement on this. There will be much finger pointing and blame.Just remember that these people were there to do what we have all done,go see a great show and have a good time.It is always easier to place blame than to accept a situation for what it is,a tragic occurance.
To Jack and the band,be strong, you have already done more than many would in this situation, and that is stand up and face the cameras. Many would have gone and hid in this sort of tragedy, you are a strong man. Many prayers, may God be with you.
I am truly heart broken over what has happened. My prayers go out to the injured and families of the victims. May God be with you.
Words can not begin to express the sorrow I feel for all those who lost someone! I haven't felt this way since 9/11! Just dread! My thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved!
My thoughts and prayers are out to all of the victims and their families.
Siento mucho lo sucedido, todavia no lo entiendo como pudo ocurrir, es una tristesa para el ecenario rockero y para sus Fans.

I, like everyone else is in utter shock over this whole thing. How many of us have been in these small crowded spaces that are hard to exit during this kind of thing? May God bless all the loved ones of the lost, and grant recovery to those injured.
My heartfelt condolences go out to the all the families and friends of the victims from this terrible tragedy.
I am still in shock over the stories coming in.
Our prayers go with them, also in the hopes another tragedy like this never happens again.
I am truly sorry to hear about the accident at the Station Club. Let's all put the families of the fallen in to our prayers. Also, it is my hope that Rock N Roll will not be blamed for this tragedy, and we can all pull together with our thoughts and prayers.
God Bless!!

My sincere heartfelt prayers are with the victims, their familes, friends & loved ones. a peice of myself died with them in that i shared their love of music and fellowship in music. Rest In Peace, devoughan Houston, Texas
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who lost someone or knew someone who was injured in this horrific tragidy. While I was hundreds of miles away at the time of it, I can't get it out of my mind, as if I were there. People whom enjoy rock, love to wear black shirts to show solidarity in their love for true rock, now we wear black in mourning, not just in Rhode Island, but around the world.
I'm very saddened by the news. This should never had happened. My sincerest thoughts of strength and warmth to the families affected.
As I have said before I am completely shocked at what happened. I am still trying to get over what happened. The people lost were truly fans of rock and will be missed.
