I hope that Jesus had a good reason to call you up so early.
Your time wasn't up down here but I hope you're rocking with the angels now and I know here on earth it will be more silent now.
Wish it could be possible just to turn back the time.

zeno from Japan
I purchased the Blue Tears CD the first day I heard "Rockin' With The Radio". My friends and I were hanging out in my dorm at Berklee and were all blown away. Gregg's songwriting, singing and guitar playing were just amazing. I'm constantly turning people on to his music. Pure talent.
My heart goes out to all his loved ones... family, friends and fans. I hope his son will always know how truly gifted his father was and how his music touched so many lives.
You'll never be forgotten Gregg!

You passing was a total shock to every fan of your music and especially to the the people who have known you personally. The first BLUE TEARS Record is still one of my all time favourites and gives me hope and strength with it`s music since my teen days. I am very thankful for having had the opportunity to have a few drinks with you in England some yeras ago and being able of seeeing one of the rare live shows. It meant an awful lot to me. Thanx for the music Gregg, wherever you are, God bless your family!

R.I.P. Gregg. Your Blue Tears album is definitely one of the best melodic rock album of all time. Greatly missed indeed.
Kenneth, from Singapore
Indeed life is very short. Gregg, you will be missed.
I am glad that I have attended the Blue Tears concert in Athens back in 2005... My thoughts and prayers go to your family.
R.I.P.
It was really nice to work with Gregg and I am greatly saddened by his passing. My condolences to his family, friends, and co-workers. He was a very talented individual and a great guy with a lot of passion for his work. We recently spoke about music he was recording and about computers that might be good for recording. His life seemed as if it was looking up and he was happy. He spoke of Carter learning guitar and of his new recordings and on the morning of the 15th I heard the news of his passing and was stunned. I know his music will live on as a legacy. May the memories we all have of him remain with us in our hearts. God Bless those who knew him.
Im so sad to hear about his passing, I was just listening to 'Small Town Dreams' by Blue Tears when I was reading about it... rest in piece Gregg and I hope his family and friends get trough this.
Gregg along with his band mates have made some really good tunes and some of my good memories are difrectly linked to the sound of their music.
R.I.P Gregg Fulkerson
Gregg, te extrañaremos y recordaremos por siempre. Por siempre nos acompañarás con tus hermosas y grandiosas melodías.
Descansa en paz.
Blue tears, blue eyes, crying in the rain...

Gregg was a friend of mine. There are no words to describe how it feels to lose him. I don't know if he had any idea how many lives he touched. He was truly an amazing person. I was one of the lucky ones to have known him personally. He just sang a new song to me last week called "Live With It". I am so sad we won't get to hear it recorded. I miss you so much my friend.
My prayers go out to the Fulkerson family. Gregg was an incredible talent that never received the recognition he rightfully deserved. I had conversed with him via e-mail just a few months back and am deeply saddened by his passing. He will continue to inspire us through his timeless music.. "Roll On" my brother... See you in heaven .....
Lance
Sad loss. I came to listen to his music via Melodic Rock and was looking forward to much more from such a talented artist. My prayers are with his family. He has gone much much too soon.
UNFAIR!!!!
What a awesome musician. I'm already missing him! My thoughts are with his family, dear friends and band mates!
RIP Gregg!!
R.I.P. True giants never dies!
Another great talent has "left the building" way too soon.
You music will never be forgotten.

Embrace my echo
Now that my voice is quiet
Scrounge for my shadow
While you still have some light
Imbibe my music
May it float your senses
Anoint my bruises
Whatever your reasons
Fix my infirmities
Please poison every pest
Remember my kindly
Sure hope we passed the test

that´s a very sad news. beeing a long time aor and hard rock fan here in germany I´m lucky to own the blue tears debut cd. great stuff.
I guess he had his "date with destiny"(one of the greatest songs of all times)
prayers to his family and keep on rockin in heaven

I have already signed this once. For some strange reason, it bothers me badly. I was listening to the BT Innocent ones cd friday, the song All The Way Home, and was misty eyed. My wife walked in the room (she is not "into" music or musicians). I had her listen to the song, and tried to explain it all to her. she was like, you don't even know him!. all i could say was you don't understand. I feel like he was one of my best buds. i dont' even unstand it. Go listne to that song All the way home. singing about dying and leaving his son, then hearing his sons voice at the end of the song. do that with a dry eye. no words really can explain the feeling. you can try but when you hit enter to post your message you feel like you didn't explain anything. for his family...i can't even imagine. i feel sorta selfish just talking about his music. but unfortunately thats all i know of him...for me personally that has to be enough i guess. kinda wonder what hes thinking watching all of us.......
R.I.P Gregg... Thanks for all the years of such AMAZING music. My prayers go out to Gregg's Family & Friends at this very sad time.
I was shocked to hear this sad News. Blue Tears S/T album back in 1990 got me hooked, its pure class, so are the follow up albums, the man was a genius and will be missed.
Thoughts to his family, band mates and friends.
RIP Gregg.
I'm very sad to hear the news... Greg's voice was one of the best in the AOR genre. Loved his music, may he rest in peace.
Ever since i heard the 1st Blue tears cd i was hooked as well. I am very upset to think i wont get to hear any new music from you. You were truly a great songwriter. You touched my very soul and your music brought back true memories of my younger days. God bless and god speed!
R.I.P.
Sincerely,
Terry R Roth
I am truly saddened and so , so, shocked , for the first time in my life words fail me. Gregg was persuaded to bring BT out of retirement for FF2. We had such a great time before during and afterwards in Greece. We went on to become firm friends and e mailed and called each other every few weeks to discuss this, that or the other.I'll always remember Gregg for 'singing down the phone' and his down to earth persona.
I'm numb to the very core
Gregg, I'll miss you , our chats and mails and of course I'll miss the music......
Hey everybody, stick on Blue Tears and turn it UP!!!! Betcha he'd get a kick out of that
My thoughts and prayers are with all of Gregg's family at this terrible time.
This really is a Sad Sad day for me personally and for the music scene we all support and enjoy

Hurts so bad to let you go...
More than you will ever know...
Another place...another time...in another life.
R.I.P Gregg.....missed more than you know.
I'm from Spain and I've read the new right now, I'm in shock, love his music, I've got all his cd's, what can I say, don't find the words, all my prayers to his family and friends.
You will live forever throught your music and we`ll never forget you.
I'm listening "thunder in the night". RIP.
Thank you for giving us some of the best rock music we've ever heard. It's a shame you're gone so soon.
"Halfway to Heaven,
I wonder where you are.
Halfway to Heaven,
forever in my heart."
R.I.P.
After the shock of knowing this sad new, I just want to say Gregg has been, for the last 10-12 years (when I first got to know Blues Tears), one of my biggest references in melodic rock. I, as everyone who appreciates your songs, will keep following your thoughts. Rest in peace...
it is always sad that the great guys of aor have to leave this earth way too soon !
Thoughts and prayers to the family at this very sad time. Gregg, thank you for the music and the memories, may you rest peacefully.

Very sad. Hard to believe. R.I.P.
I first heard Blue Tears music a couple years ago and instantly fell in love with it. Gregg had such an amazing voice and a great talent for writing songs his passing is a shock to us all and to his family and his friends i send my deepest condolences he will forever be loved and missed by all, he touched and inspired so many in his life. he will be forever missed. R.I.P keep rocking up there in heaven
Grat musician,rest in peace.
The first time I heard the albums by BT and Attraction 65 I loved every track, amazing lyrics, fantastic voice and great band. I am so sad at hearing about Gregg,s untimely passing - why do all the good ones go early ? I was fortunate to see him at Firefest 2 an amazing night - I feel lucky to have had that priviledge. My thoughts are with his family and close friends - may he rock in heaven x Andi.
I can still remember first reading about Blue Tears and then hearing the album and being hooked from that day to this, the same with the Attraction 65 release years later.Having the opportunity to see Gregg and his band not once but twice over the great weekend at Firefest 2 ranks as one of the great highlights of my years of being a rock fan. When I got to speak to Gregg briefly after the Friday set, what struck me was that he seemed genuinely surprised by the level of interest and gratitude that they had travelled to England to play.If ever an artist deserved far greater recognition then they ever got it is and was Gregg.............
Another melodic rock legend joins the best band ever in heaven. Gregg, may your music remind fans of another talent lost too soon. Blue Tears are shedded for you as you are halfway to heaven and more than likely reached it already. Rest in peace.
To all of you who have left such heartfelt comments and condolences... I know Gregg is appreciating them all right now.
I was lucky enough to be on the receiving end of his love for much of the past year and can vouch for all those who say he was a gentle, kind and loving man. Most of all, please keep his young son in your thoughts and prayers. Gregg of course loved his music, but he lived for that boy.
It is so heartwarming to see the outpouring of love for Gregg, I only wish he fully comprehended how much his music meant to all of you. He never took it for granted. He never did it for the notoriety, the money or anything else superficial. Gregg lived and breathed music because it was in his blood. It was what he loved to do.
Heaven has one rockin' angel!
Rock on baby, rock on!
It was my privilege to work with Gregg. He was a good man with a BIG heart! He and I had many good talks about a lot of things so I will cherish the things he shared with me. His passing leaves a void not only for his family but for all who knew him both professionally and personally. God Speed my friend.
Gregg and his family grew up right down the road from me in Henderson. I'll never forget the great time filming the video for "Rocking with the Radio" downtown. My heart is heavy. Gregg will be sorely missed, not only as an immensely talented musician, but a great human being.
such sad news
RIP Gregg, you will be greatly missed.
Life is short. We must enjoy... My your music be heard throughtout the heavens...R.I.P MY FRIEND!
I will always remember those amazing years and the electric energy when the first CD was coming out. I remember the concert in Jackson, and the energy all around. You let us all know that dreams could come true. You were our hometown rockstar, and we can never ever repay you for the wonder and joy you brought us. Thank you is far too inadequate to express our gratitude.
God bless.
WOW...cannot believe how life can hit you sometimes. I was just thinking of this guy and his band on Monday. Did not get to see Blue Tears but Greg was such a talent. His music and lyrics echos many of lifes experiences. It seems so unfare he has been taken from us all so soon.
Thoughts and wishes to his familly.
I am sure you know his music was loved by so many.
God bless Greg ...live on mate...in our hearts. Cheers!

I still can't believe this. Such a great singer and musician. I love the Blue Tears debut CD, and their songs are part of my soundtrack of life. Thanks for your music Gregg, thanks for your sentiments through your music. Rest in peace mate.

You were a true gentleman. I loved your music and it really influenced the way I wanted to become as a songwriter. You put so much of yourself in your songs that I feel like I know you as a close friend. I hope you find peace where ever you are...
You will be sorely missed. My thoughts and heart goes out to Greggs family and close ones. Keep on rockin' on the other side. Your music will never be forgotten...

Rest In Peace Gregg - Your music will live on.
I'm shocked, and it left me speechless to hear that a true hero has passed away. You made some of the best music I've ever heard. I'm a 19 year old fan who never got the chance to catch you live, I've only heard the stories. But one thing I've heard and will forever be in my heart is your debut album with Blue Tears.. that's perfection and my all time favorite album! You wrote songs I could relate to and melodies that blew my mind.
I can't believe you're gone. You'll forever be remembered and never forgotten Gregg.

So sorry to hear this awfull news.
He will be missed around the world.

This is so sad, Gregg was way too young and such an underrated artist.
He should´ve been more famous, his songs will live on forever.
I will play Attraction 65 tonight
What can I say? I am just in SHOCK and I just talked to him on Monday night. You were a good man, and a good friend. See you IN ANOTHER LIFE....my friend. Can't believe that you are gone.
One of my all time favorite songs is "In Another Life." It is an easy top 5 of all time lyrics for me, one that will never be moved out of that list. It is powerfully thought provoking and appropriate to so many of life's situations, that anyone would be hard pressed to say it wasn't written for them. I can't say i knew much else about the man or his music, but i am thankful for that one song that I will keep for the rest of my life. Thank you.
Matt
I met Greegg in Nottingham at the Firefest. He was such a nice guy and his music will be missed. You are a Rock Legend for me! R.I.P. My thoughts and prayers goes to your family and band members and to everyone in the world who will miss him...

I am shocked and saddened! I remember hearing "Rocking With The Radio" from his killer Blue Tears debut cd from 1990 for the first time and I was hooked ever since. Great album, great songwriter and great vocals. Not to mention his other post Blue Tears work! My thoughts go out to his family and friends. His music will always live on forever!
I had the pleasure of knowing Gregg, albeit not very well, and being able to speak with him on a few occassions. He was always the easiest person to talk to, very humble about his abilities and talents. I was shocked to hear the news of his death. His passing is untimely and the music world has lost a tremendous songwriter and musician, whom many will never, ever get to experience. Long live the music that he made, and long live the memories of Gregg.
Your gift of music will be missed. Blue Tears is an album that will always be played in the melodic rock world.
Enjoy the awsome musical guitar pull in heaven.
Rest in peace Gregg! I'm sure that you'll rock in Heaven too! You'll live in your music forever. Farewell...
This has been a BLUE TEARful day. I've known Gregg since high school and have been a big fan of his music since first hearing it! It doesn't seem so long ago that his band filmed the video for "Rockin' With the Radio" here in Henderson and then performed in concert after that (I still have the video I recorded of that concert today). He was a great friend, an awesome musical talent and songwriter..a total inspiration for music fans everywhere. I will miss you Gregg. My heartfelt condolences go out to his children and family....
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You so much for the wonderful music over the years!A true melodic rock genius that will be so sadly missed!

So sad. I was acquainted only last year with Blue Tears. Very nice work. Prayers to the family.
years back, after the Attraction 65 cd was released, I used to trade emails with Gregg. Just random talking about music and life. Gregg was always great about writing back and giving his time to a fan, I will always remember that about him. He left a big impression on my life as a person and as a musician. He will be missed, but God just got one heck of a guy.
RIP brother,
Tony Jones
I remember the first time I heard Blue Tears Debut cd....i was blown away by the vocals. I have been a long time fan of Michael Sweets and Steve Perrys. But in Greg I found another singer who was just as good. My heart and prayers go out to Greg's family, friends and all that he touched. RIP my friend

Very saddened by this news. My sincere sympathies to all his family; what a shocker.
For Gregg’s friends & family:
I've never taken the time to eulogize a musician I never met, but think it's fitting now. To say that I enjoyed Gregg’s work only scratches the surface. He was an inspiration. His songs have been a steady source of courage in times of darkness and of joy in times of happiness. The value of what he gave us is beyond measure because it belongs to the realm of magic. There is no way to articulate with words the unique contribution of something indefinable that speaks to you personally through emotions, moods, and instinct.
Music is everywhere, but it takes a God-given talent to tap into its immense power and imprint your own seal on it. Gregg had that intangible ‘something’ – some may call it a gift, others may label it the product of hard work or genius, but it was definitely there. This is why, over the years, I would always pay attention to his name on the credits...it was invariably a seal of guaranteed quality. I remember enjoying songs by Michael Sweet or Tim Feehan, then seeing Gregg’s name in the writing credits and thinking, “oh, that's why!”. While other artists struggled to include a few listenable tracks surrounded by filler, even Gregg’s obscure tracks were superbly written and performed. Case in point, the starkly beautiful piano version of "Date with Destiny", which wasn’t even on an album. And yet, it’s expressive, soulful, and transporting. Like I said: magic.
I hoped he would release new material. Every so often I would post, "Does anyone know what Gregg Fulkerson is up to? Anything new on the horizon?", almost licking my chops in anticipation. I craved more of it, and was not the only one, judging by others who would inquire similarly.
I loved Blue Tears, but for all the youthful energy, natural talent, and lush sound on display, it showed an artist who still had growing to do. Listening to Attraction 65 many years later brought a smile to my face because it was the fulfillment of the promise Gregg had shown in Blue Tears. Not only did it deliver the goods from start to finish, but everything had evolved: the sound was current, the music was layered, and Gregg’s voice had taken a quantum leap. Beyond that, the lyrics had a message throughout, they mattered...songs like “Roll On” and “Train” transcend mindless escapism and have real meaning behind them, hard-won meaning that stemmed from his life experiences. It came from an authentic place, and that’s all you can ask for. The songs evoke elemental emotions of the human experience: tenderness, regret, redemption, devotion, determination, and hope. Needless to say, I still play it five years on...talk about shelf life.
This seems wholly unfair and very sad, but his music matters and Gregg lives because he continues to make a contribution to my life every time I play his songs. It means something to me, to someone from another country who never even met him. Multiply that when you look above and below my message: Swedes, Britons, Spaniards, Italians, Americans, Norwegians. If that’s not success, I don’t know what is. His music is as fine a legacy as any of us can aspire to.
Rest in peace, Gregg, and God bless...
Jack.
I only have the first Blue Tears album, but I love it. To Gregg's Family, he will be missed but his immortality is secure with his music. R.I.P. and God Bless.
Love his music.

Hard to find new words to type other those said already. A great songwriter, singer, guitarist, producer and all round decent human being from all those that have met him have written. God's peace be with your family and friends and I pray you're at peace with God now.
Such sad news, may you rest in peace and thank you for the classic Blue Tears debut CD that gave me hours of joy for many years in the early nineties. One of my favourite melodic rock albums of all time... what a legacy.

It's not often that an album like the Blue Tears debut grabs your attention so heavily. About 8 or 9 years ago, a friend of mine put on this catchy, riffy, anthemic, album and it just blew me away. I of course ran out and bought a copy for myself, and it just might hold the title as the longest standing CD to remain in my player. S/T had the power to convert people who owned maybe one rock album into big fans. You just cant deny the hooks that this album delivered. This talent is gone, but his music remains. Thank you for the years of brilliant music. RVK
My brother, Larry Gilbow, was one of the original drummers for "Blue Tears" in the 90s. My prayers are with Gregg's friends and family.
Music is such a part of my life that the artists come to feel like friends after repeated listenings, even though we have never met.
Today I will mourn the passing of a friend.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Gregg's family and friends.
Thank you, Gregg, for the musical legacy you have given us. A part of you will be here every time the CD spins.
The original blue tears album was a huge influence on me. Life wise as well as musically. I always thought if bon jovi had written the same record it would have been huge. Huge talent... lots of memories. Thank you greg
Love your music.
You will be MISSED

Gregg was a good friend and co-worker. We became close last year when he joined my team here at D&I. He was always ready with a smile and kind word. I am still stunned. He is and will continue to be greatly missed. His talent was unsurpassed.

I was shocked when I heard this when at work last night. Today have been a day dedicated to Gregg with Blue Tears pouring out of my speakers all day.
May You rest in peace

RIP thoughts with your family
RIP Gregg. Your voice and beautiful music will be a part of our lives!
Words are never easy when one has to say goodbye to such a talented artist and good person... My thoughts and prayers are with his family and especially his eight-year-old son Carter.
He will always live as long as his music keeps playing.
He should be "Halfway To Heaven". He will be missed.
Rest In Peace, Gregg Fulkerson.
Pilar Sánchez.
Indeed a tragic lost both to the this music scene, but also of a great character....You'll be sadly miss, but your memory and legacy to this world lives on within your music and our hearts.......see you in heaven bro!
Dear Gregg, we will miss you and your tunes so much... ZEEZEE is right. Tonight i recall your music with a couple of beers to you! R.I.P.
Rest in Peace, Greg! You and your family will be in my prayers. Your talent for songwriting was elite, and yet you didn't get the exposure that your work deserved. From Blue Tears debut, to the unreleased stuff which was better than most band's albums and contained some true classics, to your work with Michael Sweet on his solo album, to your new project with Attraction 65, your great talent was always very evident.
Even more importantly, you were a great person, and it is for that reason that I know that you are now on your way to writing some Heavenly classics up above. I can't wait to hear them when I get there.
You'll be much missed. To Gregg's family....I don't know you, but I can only imagine your grief right now, and you'll be in my prayers.
Are prayers go out to Greggs family at this sad time you are in are hearts
All at the Mayfair Mall Zine
Never easy to say goodbye.I remember Rockin on the Radio all those
years ago.May God be with you and your family
R.I.P. Gregg. I remember when i first bought the Blue Tears album and was swept away. Perhaps the best melodic rock album ever made in history.
You will be missed.
Dear Gregg, thx for your wonderfull music, it´s deep inside. Pete
How sad. Gregg first came to my attention when he co-produced Michael Sweet's first solo album and have since been a fan of his. God speed Gregg.
RIP Gregg, your music will continue in show us how big was your talent...

A real talent - when the Blue Tears LP came out it blew me away. I am listening to Swept Away as I write this and with a tear in my eye - what a song. Thanks Gregg - your music will stay with me forever. See you around some day.

The first Blue Tears CD is a favorite of mine and a classic. Gregg had a wonderful voice and songwriting abilities which will be sorely missed in the world of music. I will play the Blue Tears CD tonight in remembrance of Gregg. May all remember him and his work. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May the Lord bless them in their time of grief.
You will be remembered everytime one of your songs is played.
R.I.P. the musician, the artist
A big and warm hug to his family and friends in these sad moments.
God bless you all.
I had the great pleasure of playing keyboards with Gregg and Blue Tears in 95. A nicer man you could not have ever met and a great talent. To say I am truly saddened is an understatement. My God keep you and protect your loved ones. Until one day I hope we meet again, rest in peace.
Paul
A great loss to the melodic rock world! Seems like only yesterday I was browsing cd's in the local record store, and came upon the Blue Tears CD. Had no idea who they were,or what the band sounded like, but took a chance and picked it up anyhow. So glad I did,as that CD has become a classic in my collection, and gets played quite a bit to this day. I was also pleased to see that a few years later,Gregg also contributed his talents to Michael Sweet's first solo album. Which is also a classic in my book. Sorry to hear about this loss, but thankful for the music and memories he left us with. Thank you Gregg and rest in peace!!!!
I can't believe that Mr.Fulkerson is no longer with us I just want to start out by saying listening to the Blue Tears cd when it first came out was something that blew me away I was 20 years old then and that was just my style of music. I don't know how many times I have listened to that cd but everytime I did it gave me a great uplifting. I thought his voice was second to none and although one of my vocal heroes is gone I still have the music he left behind----RIP--- GREGG WE WILL MISS YOU---BOBJOVI
I am deeply saddened to hear of Gregg's passing. The Innocent Ones is an album that was almost the soundtrack to my Summer of 2006, and one I still listen to alot.
I was really hoping that Gregg would resurface soon with new material, and feel really sad that this will never happen. My thought's go out to all his family, friends and fans at this time.
You will be sorely missed Gregg, Rest In Peace
Niv
I am sure he is at a higher place. He is still a truely inspirational musician. Thanks for everything you offered us on this Earth.

I am speachless...became one of Gregg's fans in the last few years, he was an amazing singer; I loved what he put into his songs. Rest in peace Gregg, your music will live on! condolences to all the family, we are far away but close to you in this painful moment.

My sincere condoleances to all those close to you
"It hurts so bad to let you go, more than you will ever know.
Another place, another time... in another life"
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Gregg's passing. Gregg was one of my favorite singer/songwriters; responsible for creating some of my all time favorite songs. I could never understand how meatloaf could pass on a song as amazing as "A Date With Destiny"; just one of several great songs from Gregg. Gregg will be missed, but never forgotten.
Rest In Peace Gregg
A fan always, Joey
This is so sad - the Attraction 65 album ranks as one of the best albums I've ever heard. A truly gifted artist - I am so sorry. R.I.P.

It's strange but last night my mp3 player was on shuffle and 'Halfway To Heaven' came on - I'd forgotten about Blue Tears. After the song played and quickly took off the random and listen to the album - what A Classic - you'll be forever missed...

The saddest news in years to me.I met and talked with Gregg while he participated at the Firefest Festival in Nottingham and later in Greece. He told me and my friends stories about his life, music industry etc...Last thing i remember was that team hug while we left him at his hotel.Im shocked right now. R.I.P Gregg.I won't forget you.
I am very very sad to hear this, Blue Tears were always one of my favourites. Gregg wrote many beautiful songs that will forever hold special place in my heart.
R.I.P Gregg, don´t worry, your music will live forever...
Rockin' with the Radio and Innocent Kiss two AOR Gems. They just don't write them like that anymore. RIP Greg.
So sorry to hear about Greggs passing! A truly inspirational guy, so honoured to have met him finally for the first time at Firefest a few yrs back, truly great guy, we shared a few beers and he was so passionate about his music and what he had achieved. I know he had a fantastic time over here and that is a memeory I wont forget :)
Extremely saddened you are gone, you live on through your music, thank you for sharing your immense talent with us, we hope your music inspires others as it has done to us.
Thoughts and prayers to Greggs family and friends left behind at this traumatic time.

Wow...I'm almost speechless right now...VERY upset to hear of Gregg's sudden passing. Very surreal to me and I am in a very melancholic mood especially considering that his death occurred on my 45th birthday. I am a HUGE fan of Gregg's music--his vocals, his guitar playing(I play as well) and especially his songwriting. In all of my years of closely following rock music, I can not honestly identify a single musician out there that is more underappreciated or underrated than Gregg Fulkerson. I wish so much that he would have been able to be rewarded with more commercial success as he so richly deserved it. Even though he was now well into his 40's, I believe that he was just not coming into his own with his music and songwriting. As exciting and "MTV-friendly" as the BT debut album was, I really enjoy so much more listening to both the ATTRACTION 65 & THE INNOCENT ONES albums(CD's) even MORE. And I was super pumped about the re-releases of all of the other BT unreleased stuff on the 2 Sun City albums. Seriously, has any artist EVER released FIVE more dynamic albums than what Gregg has(or DID, as we speak in the past tense now) and yet receive so few accolades? I just can't believe he is gone from us now...In all of my 30+ years of being an avid rock music fan, I think this is the most moved emotionally I have ever been about the premature death of a "rock star"(even moreso than Bon Scott, Randy Rhoads and John Bonham). The only other time I have even felt close to what I do now is when Boston lead singer Brad Delp passed away in 2007 but this is just more close to home. I live in Kentucky and because Gregg was so closeby in Tennessee, I just felt more connected for whatever reason. I regret that I never got to meet him or see he or BT perform live. I would love to be able to get some old videotapes of some shows if anyone has anything like this available. I could go on and on about this but I will rest for now...I just hope Gregg had peace in his heart. I will choose to believe that he was saved as a Christian(as I am, thankfully) and that he is now in heaven with Jesus...this way I can find comfort in knowing that I will get to meet him again someday and listen to his incredible voice and watch him play his guitar so soulfully with his melodic solos. To Gregg's family(which I know very little about)--you are in my thoughts and prayers and I hope to be able to meet you all someday as well. Despite his lack of commercial recognition, I hope you find some comfort in knowing that Gregg's music and songwriting really reverberated very deeply for some of us and I for one am so very grateful to have gotten to "know him" even if for so very superficially. RIP, my friend Gregg...though there is a "Storm in My Heart" right now, I choose to "Believe" that you are more than "Halfway to Heaven" and that you are now "All The Way Home" in your "Gloryland" and in your own personal "Eden". We here on earth will "Roll On" and we will "Rise Above" and "Stand" in order to be "Strong" just as you always sang about. We will live here with the hope to see you again "In Another Life" and will look forward to hearing you "Call My Name" as I enter those pearly gates and I will help "Rock You To Heaven". Yeah, we are "All Cried Out" with "Blue Tears" and truly are "Misty Blue" about your passing, I hope your family has peace in knowing that your songwriting and music is your "Evidence of Love" to us all. Your life was NOT "Unrequited Love" as there are many "Innocent Ones" like me who love to still "Drive" to your music and just "Let It Rain". This news of your passing has hit us just like "Thunder In The Night" but we will refuse to be "Crush(ed)" for very long and we will not "Kiss You(Me) Goodbye". Your music for us was a real life "True Romance" and we were all so often just "Swept Away". In closing, all I can say is that I do not understand why God has chosen to take you at this young and tender age with so much promise still...all I can surmise is that you had "A Date With Destiny"--just you and God which is about as special as it can get. Though we won't hear any more new music from you here on THIS earth, we will find comfort in knowing that this is NOT your "Last Serenade" as you sang about but rather just a NEW beginning "In Another Life". God Bless you Gregg Fulkerson and all of your loved ones and family as well...Respectfully, Jack C. Lewis II Frankfort, KY USA
I met Greg at the Firefest a few years ago. I had contacted him via email before the show to ask for a specific setlist, he emailed back and i had him sign the print-out of the mail when we met. Aside from being a great songwriter (some of his songs are my all time favourite) he was nice and caring and a down-to-earth guy. I will miss him, but really, his music will live on. Thanks for sharing your soul with the listeners and may you rest in peace, Gregg. Luca from Torino, Italy

This sucks!!!!!!!
I loved what you did a lot and you seemed like such a sweet person....
No words can heal or undo....but you will live with us forever and i hope that, like me, you took pride and comfort in the fact that the music we've done lives on forever so in a honest way we never really leave...
Deepest regards to your family and i hope heaven has saved you one of it's finest rooms...

His music and songs touched so many lives, he will be sadly missed. It is always sad when a truly nice person dies, especially so with Gregg, we will all miss him and cherish the music he wrote for all of our lives. Wherever he is now I send him peace and happiness and I send my thoughts to his family and friends.
Peace

I was introduced to Gregg's work here at Melodicrock.com years ago and have enjoyed it from that moment on. He and his work will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to his family. R.I.P. Gregg
This is such sad news. All these years later and Innocent Kiss is still one of my all time favourite songs.
R.I.P
I was shocked to read about Gregg's passing. I've been a fan of Gregg for many years (Blue Tears, Attraction 65, and all the things he's done for others), and it was pleasure and an honor meeting him at UK Firefest.
Gregg, wherever you are now, never stop rocking! Your music will live on forever, but you will be dearly missed!
Condoleances and lots of strength to his family and friends in these sad times.
I'm shocked and saddened by Gregg's passing, shattered in fact. Although I didn't know Gregg personally we did exchange the odd e-mail over the years and he seemed a truly genuine, honest guy. His music always stood proudly in my collection as some of the most hook friendly and melodic masterpieces that I own.
My condolences to Gregg's family and friend. Both you and your music will be sadly missed.
RIP

Bye Gregg, you're with God now, playing and singing for Him your beautiful songs..
:*-(
R.I.P Gregg. You will be sorely missed by all. I offer my deepest condolances and sympathy to the Fulkerson family.
Tonight i will crank up some BLUE TEARS and ATTRACTION 65 and cheer some beers to you.
God rest your soul, Greg. I didn't know your career nearly as well as the many who followed it from the beginning, but I am extremely happy to have had a chance to know *you* for the short time I did. Your talent as a person was just as great as that which made you such a significant musician. Farewell, my friend.
You will be greatly missed Gregg, may you rest in peace my friend.
Your music will live on.
What a great lose and it was a great honour to meet him at Firefest in Nottingham some years ago. Rest in peace my friend.
I am immensely saddened by Greggs passing.
Having met him and seeing his band Blue Tears in the U.K is a dream come true.
Gregg's too talented to have gone this soon.
R.I.P Gregg, you wont be forgotten!
