Cant think of many Ive met but Lemmy was a top top guy, only too happy to stop and chat and to pose for a photo. Never heard a bad word about him, always seemed to make time for his fans

Bought Let It Scream on vinyl when it came out. Still love it, such a good album Found it on CD a few years ago so, for some reason, I gave the vinyl copy to a local charity shop... Regularly see it for sale for £40+ now! What the hell was I thinking?!?!

I love it, still do. I dont think the timing was wrong, I think the problem was that it had the name 'Def Leppard' on the cover. If a different band, not associated with Sugar, Hysteria, Lets Get Rocked etc had released this album I think it would have done better. To me its a great album but doesnt sound like Def Leppard, released under a different name that could have worked in their favour.

Just finished listening to the new one. Really good! Gonna go dig out the first one and give that another listen now Is it just me or does the singer sound a bit like Bono at times?

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. Ive watched that video so many times! Somewhere Ive also got a bootleg CD of the whole show, from the soundboard which includes the full set plus a couple of songs from the soundcheck. I saw them for the first time, at my first gig, on April 11 1988 in London. Great times!

A real shame but I can see why they are doing it. Still produce consistently good albums and are absolutely brutal live!

Love em! They were on Bob Harris Country on BBC Radio 2 a while back and they did a cover of 'Carry On Wayward Son' that was breathtaking! Found it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AO_qP62yREI

Cheap Trick have a good one, audio clips of some of their songs, couple of moments from The Simpsons when they get a mention, a few other bits and pieces then a very polite female voice says 'Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, please welcome to the stage the best f***ing rock band you've ever seen, Cheap Trick!'

Havent heard the new album yet but I always find the Foos to be either brilliant or mediocre When they are really good they are absolutely incredible but every album for me is at least half filler Dave is awesome though :-)

Loved it at the time and I still do, IMHO the weakest song is the title track which is probably most like their previous releases Considering other music that was around at the time I think this would have sold millions if it had another bands name on it, so many people associated Def Leppard with hair metal and that probably affected sales a lot

My favourite Kiss song is Who wants to be lonely Others favourites are Unholy and I'll fight hell to hold you There are some real gems in their back catalogue but they only ever seem to play the same songs

Wow, Id not heard this. A hugely talented man who has written some brilliant songs but he has always seemed very much 'on the edge' for lack of a better phrase. I think he has had substance issues too which wont have helped. Hope he gets himself sorted out

Yes there was quite a few covers and mostly based around the first few albums, would have loved to hear something from the 80s or 90s. Having said that I still loved every minute!
