Hi Frank, I've just recently returned after about a 2-year absence, and I've gotta tell you, it's a wonderful bunch of people who hang out here. I think you're gonna love it! And you simply won't believe the knowledge and expertise that you can tap into. Honestly, it's nothing short of amazing. Enquire about pretty much any act or artist and you're likely to find out more than you ever dream

Hi M.L.! First and formost, thanks for the kind words. Holy smokes, to be compared to that soft breeze blowin' through Brenda's golden tresses, what can I say?! Keep it up and you're gonna give me a swelled head, LOL! Seriously, though, thanks. As for the John Lawry album, thanks for the heads up. I am supposed to be making a trip to the local Christian book and music store this week to pic

...thanks - both for the kind words and for the information. And I can't tell you how happy I am to hear that you're a father. That's just awesome. As much as I love music, there are just some things that are sooooo much more important, and family is definitely one of them. I've always thought of you as a real class act, Andrew, and I'm sure you're a wonderful dad. Give the little guy a sque

Best Regards, Andrew. mr.com" I got your update from further down the board. I'm posting my response to it up here as a new thread to make sure that you see it. Thanks for taking the time to do this, as well as for t

...I'm not sure I'm thrilled with Phil's reference to me as "B.C..'s answer to Ted Nugent" in a thread further down the board. Let's just stick with MooseMan, shall we? LOL! Wango Tango, Don NP - Hoobastank - "The Reason"

"Are you Don "the moose hunter" Schneider?! If yes, good to hear from you again! I was already wondering if some savage beast in the Canadian thundra got the best of you...;-)" Hi guys, First of all, thank you very much for the warm welcome. It certainly has been a long time! And, yes indeed, Don "the moose hunter" Schneider and I are one and the same. Fortunat

Hi Andrew, I'd also highly recommend the first two Icon albums. The other stuff is good as well, but it just isn't where I'd start if I was introducing myself to this band. Even after all of this time, I still have a difficult time choosing between the s/t debut and "Night of the Crime." The s/t album is hard rock in the same general vein of, say, Motley Crue, Ratt, Dokken, etc. &q

"He's a major improvement over Barlow who sounded like a power metal version of Paul Stanley but really wasn't an A-league singer (horrid vocals on the cover album they put out not too long ago)." I'm just working my way down the board, reading various posts of interest as I go, and I discovered this post. Coincidentally, I'm listening to the cover album to which you refer ("Trib

...I found Eve6's "It's All in Your Head" to be a disappointment, after "Horrorscope." Do you reckon I haven't given it enough time, or is it not up to snuff in your opinion either. Just curious. Thanks. Don NP - Iced Earth - Tribute to the Gods
