Agreed on all points. If they were going to take it to the next level, BFTA was the time.

Interesting, I didn't know about their split either. Also interesting, Bob Rock produced "Radio Free America" so kind of surprising it was so pop.

I don't remember reading much about their 'new' release "Radio Free America" on here. I'm listening for the first time and liking it for the most part. There are some clunkers and it is a bit long at 15 songs. Probably should've weeded out some filler. But...for the most part, this is pretty solid and a good listen.

I like Myles...but he’s not in Axl’s songwriting league. As to their voices, to each their own. I actually like both.

Great album. I picked it up in a bargain bin, solely based on the cover, a couple years after its release. In this case, judging a book by its cover paid off.

Do they really need another scam? I just purchased 6 Trans-Siberian Orchestra tickets and paid $84 in fees. That’s quite enough of a scam.

That’s what I found a bit odd, his lack of energy in that particular performance. Having seen GW many, many times with Jack Russell, that song was always a party in itself. That performance was very subdued.

Meh. I’m fairly objective here. I like Steve Perry but I’m no fanboy. I think he has a wonderful, timeless voice and it is great to hear it again. But the song and lyrics...not that good.

I hope this works but I’m not convinced it will. I like Terry Ilous’ voice and I was a big fan of XYZ. I like both albums that he did with GW, especially the latest. Having said that, and having seen them live, I’m not sure he was the right fit. Something didn’t quite click with me in a live setting. He sang well, vocal performance was fine but he didn’t have the right presence (to m
