People love to tear other people down. Makes them feel better about themselves. Fact is, JBJ is getting old. People who sang like he did in his youth are way more likely than not to lose that ability. It is just a reality, not a reason to lambaste someone mercilessly. But that’s what some people do.

I didn’t understand why they covered Rock On and I have absolutely no idea why they keep playing it.

It is odd that the interview on the front page references Phil Collins. That is obviously a different person.

Yes, I know. Who doesn’t? But the assertion was that maybe he isn’t clean and sober now. My point is, even if he is and has been for years, he’s always smoked and that ain’t exactly good for you either.

He may be completely clean and sober. But how many cigarettes has the man smoked in his lifetime? T” He’s 68 and that shit will catch up to ya.

Agreed. The self-titled was very good. Maybe lacking some “edge” but I don’t know how you can listen to most of those songs and not sing along. Full of hooks. A Dramatic Turn of Events is pretty darn good as well. As for The Astonishing, it was a poorly developed concept that ended up with way too much fluff. I do like some of it (not the story, for sure).

I like some of their stuff and absolutely love Disintegration. I had a friend who was a fan and listened to that album quite a bit in college. I went from tolerating it, to appreciating it, to loving it over the course of a few months.

Interesting, I didn't know about their split either. Also interesting, Bob Rock produced "Radio Free America" so kind of surprising it was so pop.

I don't remember reading much about their 'new' release "Radio Free America" on here. I'm listening for the first time and liking it for the most part. There are some clunkers and it is a bit long at 15 songs. Probably should've weeded out some filler. But...for the most part, this is pretty solid and a good listen.
