It's okay. Their 4th best, for sure.

Surely you know the answer to this question.

I’m rooting for the hometown Blue Jackets. But they spent so much of the season pissing down their leg, that they put themselves in an almost impossible position to advance. I guess you have to beat the best to be the best, but this fan base is desperate for a playoff series win. Pissing down their leg doesn’t make it likely that the CBJ will deliver.

Jani Lane is gone. I loved Warrant but wouldn’t cross the street to see them now. I’m probably not alone.

He’s a phenomenal player and entertainer. I don’t care for the direction of his recent music but he’s well worth seeing live. ‘Til Summer Comes Around from 2009/10 is near perfection as far as I’m concerned. https://youtu.be/lBvTbdQGoV0

I can’t promise it will resonate with you. But it sure did with me 6-7 years after it came out.

I pretty much hated Awake when it came out. I went back to it many years later and absolutely love it now.

Looking forward to listening on the drive home after work today! I’ve been in more of a country/Americana mode recently (Caleb Caudle, Ruston Kelly, Brothers Osborne) so the ears will need some adjusting).

I’m not saying his entire career has been a waste. He’s obviously done quite well for himself and has attracted many fans. My point was, with that voice, he could’ve made SUCH better music over the course of his career. He started off in the right direction but then went astray at some point.

I’ve thought for awhile that he may be one of the biggest wastes of a voice in the history of music. Don’t get me wrong, I like some of his stuff. But with a voice like that, he should’ve made some legendary music.

+3 Simplicity is barely listenable. No matter whose sound they are borrowing, this is far more promising than that.

I actually like most of that album. That said, however, Cherone was not a good fit for a good portion of the fanbase.

Maybe Eddie will handle lead vocals. He did a nice job on How Many Say I. I kid, I kid.

I dug this one out a few weeks ago and still really enjoy it. I think it’s a solid album. Ocean and Place To Call My Own stand out to me, but there are many good tracks.

This. There are certainly many, much worse lyrics.

I wouldn’t call Jason Isbell straight country, so maybe you’d like more of his stuff as well. Elephant does cut right to the heart. Songs That She Sang In The Shower https://youtu.be/TZKzW-ASP_Y Cover Me Up https://youtu.be/S-s3vuXopS4 The Life You Chose https://youtu.be/4Fqy2M98z7I

It’s a spectacular album. Too bad they didn’t make it a couple years earlier. “Lights and Thunder” is immense.

Might I suggest staying away from "Return of the Pride"? Worse than horrible.
