I've seen Jeff perform live more than once and how anyone could use the word 'over-rated' is beyond my comprehension. Ok, you may not personally like his voice, but the fact is the guy has a serious voice on him, period!! Just look at all the folk who've used him as a singer on their albums.... Did they do it cos he's overated? No, just cos he's bloody great at what he does!!!!! I'm a massive fa

I'm wondering about this Survivor line-up. Frankie was a bit odd in his interview and Jimi certainly gave nowt away.... Sounds as if the record was a bit half-hearted, especially as they only make money from weekend gigs at fairs and casinos these days....made it cos they felt they should but had little heart and soul in it maybe? Still, it's a decent CD in the car when I drive from site to site

Well, exactly! Mick probably owns the rights to the name anyway. My mate was telling me that the guy he went to the recent shows with had seen Foreigner in 1985 and that they were pretty poor back then...(ok, it may have just been one poor show) According to him, the new line up is better!!!! Roll on the new CD!!!!

They can call themselves whatever the hell they like if they keep playing gigs as good as this :-) Absolutely bloody awesome!!! I love Lou Gramm's voice, always have, but Kelly Hansen nailed the vocals and made them his own. Gotta admire that, as Lou is a hard act to follow!! Basically, the whole band were energised, rockin' out and kicking major arse!!! AOR as it should be... Fantastic stuff!!

I saw them in London on Friday at the Shepherd's Bush Empire...a largely standing venue. Granted, a lot of folk were older than me (I'm nearly 42!) but there were a number of younger folk there too. I thought they were bloody fabulous. My mate, who goes to far more rock shows than anybody else I know, was in the front row and he rang me the next morning to tell me that it was one of the best gi

I listen to a lot of contemporary country... Some great players and singers in that genre and it has gotten less 'twangy' over the years... most of what I listen to is basically rock/pop with lots of acoustic geetars, mandolins, mildly distorted electrics and the occasional fiddle + pedal steel... Keith Urban (cool guitarist! Bloody fab live!!) Emerson Drive (produced by Richard Marx) SheDaisy (

I'll second that! I thought the Leps were bloody great...as good as I've seen them in fact (I've seen 'em 5 times now since 1992). Enjoyed Cheap Trick too.... Didn't like SAHB tho'.... Sorry!

Actually, Back Talk just instantly delete any thread about it... I should know cos I posted one and had a very pleasant reply from a board moderator who told me that she knew I was only trying to defend the band's honour, but that it was a myth and rumour based on myth can only be blown out of proportion...etc..words to that effect anyway... Hey ho!! For the record, I'm a Journey fan and have be
