Seeing that DLR cant sing. (Actually it is pretty sad he "talks" the whole song) Michael is better off touring with Hagar.

Hope that the quick sellout will motivate them to play a few more times in bigger venues, 2-3K+ I bet Neal is gonna love playing the old stuff. Its sad that in the almost 20 years Journey has been back on tour Rolie has only done a couple things with them. The only thing, Will they do any of Jon's material? Odd Schon did an EP with two of his songs,

#1 by far is Survivor/Jimi Jamison. And I own everything they did. Had an opportunity to see Jimi in 2010 at a very small venue and still kick myself for not going. My friends were mostly metal heads in the 80s and there was no one I could talk one into going. Van Halen - Wasnt a huge fan til the mid 80's. After hearing Roth sing in 2008 had no desire to spend $$$ Boston - had tickets fo

Think Im in Love - a song i never get sick of. Amazed he wrote it cause its so unlike anything he did to the point. Could have been a Hagar song. Walk on Water - Great song for the late 80's another song nothing like before. Two tickets, yes his signature song, but so good.

A great record, a couple filler songs, but they are okay. Running the Risk is a hidden gem and should have gotten airplay. Until the end of time is an awesome underrated ballad.

Jimi does a good lip synch, but I know this song note to note, my favorite from When Seconds Count, which was a little too synth pop but very good nevertheless. Needed a couple more in the vibe of I cant Let you go, straight forward rockers like their old days. There is no way anyone, could nail this song live. The cool thing about this video is Jimi's eyes, either he was on something or he

SH not one song I dont love, really like. 3 Lock Box great to good songs throughout Love the Cain assisted song Remember the heroes. VOA only 1-2 average songs, rest are great. Swept Away a great deeper cut. With Dick in the Dirt and Drive 55 a little more on the campy side. Odd to see two almost light rock songs, Dont Make Me Wait and Two sides of love on an album. all the others are ok

Sammys first 2-3 albums were okay, then came Standing Hampton, Three lock box, and VOA (to a lesser degree) were great. Didnt get much into his contractual album that had give to live on it, and really have not followed him since he left VH. Was more of a Hagar fan than a VH back in the day, and didnt know how they would do, but after hearing Why Cant this be love I was convinced. One of t

ONly found out a few years back it is (mostly) cover song of a Hybrid Ice song of the same name. Boston changed some of the lyrics and removed the cheesy synths, basiclly same song so how did Sholtz and Sikes get writing credits? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4OVhFi0RDk

never considered her country. but dont consider this new pop (country) country. It died about the same time Grunge took hold and became the new pop. While she can sing, and easy to look at, without Mutt shed still be singing in nightclubs.

Always loved this song. Wonder if this was written for Journey with the Perry credits. Sounds like it would fit on Frontiers B side (especially if Perry sand it). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2CEKnNEt1s Perry, Valory, and Smith are on this too? Doesnt sound like Ross's bass. And dont hear Perry's background voice. (unless maybe he played an instrument?) maybe cowbell? heh

awesome song, awesome vocals. SO happy for Deen. Sad this song wont get any airplay. In the 80's it would easily be a top ten hit. Dont know the songwriters, but they capture a beautiful blend of a Journey/Night ranger power ballad.

First time I heard All I wanted by Kansas was a Steve Perry Solo song. Also first time I heard Wait by White Lion was a Bon Jovi Song. On a lesser note, I could have sworn the first time I heard You Better Wait was a Journey song, Nothing like SP solo's but was.

loved NR and Journeys trade off vocal songs. Wish both bands would do more of it. This song amazingly sounds like a Journey song, in the line of Never too late. One of the few standouts from that CD. So where is the Journey influence coming from as a writer on this track? This another album with mostly outside writers?

On the loose is one of my favorite rockers. Didn't like wind him up. Remember buying Worlds Apart (I believe) te one with Only Time will tell. It was dreadfully non rocking. Will have to look up the songs mentioned, thanks.

love the band, no interest in seeing them live however. At least 5 songs should be played post-Perry and lucky if you get 1. I agree, seeing them on stage seems like they are there to get a check (mainly for the ex wives and children) Paula White must have millions bilking people out of $. So I guess Jon doesn't need the band anymore. Maybe he could become an usher at the megachurch.

Absolutely loved "Dont you know where love is" back in the day (and still do). I was only 10 or so when it came out so I did not listen til the whole album until 1985- so hard to find. Love Dont Fail me is by far the second best song on there. The rest is forgettable except for Black Star-Really??? Song is one of the worst AOR band songs I have ever heard.

Survivor - Survivor Survivor - Premonition Survivor - Eye of The Tiger probably only 1 or two songs is only okay (the Peterik lead song i.e,) but the bickler bridge saves it. most great and even fantastic.

My first introduction was Hang On To Your Life. Bought the cassette from Columbia House (81-82 ish?), as Hang on, Break Out, and Hollywood were in heavy rotation on KQRS. When their "best of" came out (89,90 ish?), and the VERY survivor like song touch me tonight, it was the first CD I ever bought. Loved most of the tracks especially the Kansas like Last Chance and of course Hollywood.
