121. Re: EPs
Only one I ever bought was Journey's Red 13. Still listen to it occasionally mostly for the co-written one with Geoff Tate. You also get a little taste of Eclipse with the first two songs and the last is just an Arrival throwaway. Cant remember what I paid but EP's should never be more than 1 dollar per song.

Will probably get this one. I was pretty much a GH/FM radio Foreigner fan until Inside Information, love that CD cept for the awful title track. Got into most of Mr Moonlight as well. Just recently they had a comprehensive release which had the song Fool for you anyway amidst the agent provocateur songs. Googled it and loved it at first listen with a few others from the ST. This p

Will have to revisit him. I actaully heard it first in The Pas Canada, yeah pretty much where the road ends. First time I met my cousin there he turned the TV and we watched a Canada version of "Solid Gold" and they played the Sunglasses at night. He was a metal head who loved Canadian bands. A couple days later in a record store I bought HSAS Through the Fire and he bought th

I really only like Christian rock if the lyrics are pretty generic. Every once in a while I will listen to the Christian Rock station because it sounds so Lite AOR from the 80s. Kerry Livgren was great at writing Christian Rock that didnt beat you over the head with "Christian lyrics" I was really into Stryper in the late 80s. I need to get a compilation CD of theirs. I

Yeah, sounds different. Almost like he is doing a heavy whisper through the song. If there is no correction he pulls off this voice on this song. Crazy cause I am a casual fan but I have seen them 10+ times, only 2nd most except Kansas which I saw maybe 12+.

Thanks for this link. He sounded awesome and didnt water down the setlist with ballads. Jimi's death really hit me hard. My 3 favorite singers is Steve Perry, Steve Walsh and Jimi. I am sure he is at Peace.

"Wait" will go down as one of my top guilty pleasure songs. My buddy back in the day thought it was a new Bon Jovi song. Won a 10 dollar bet that it was this new band called "White Lion" Looking at Wikipedia Wait went top 10 in 1988? For me this was the summer of 1987 song. Was this like Def Leppard's love bites which took forever to become a hit after its release?

Sass and her band blew me away (twice) when she opened for Steve Perry. Especially "Make You a Believer" She sure has some pipes and if Perry tours again, she would be perfect to open again. Bought Racine soon after and spun it many times. Kinda lost touch with her music and need to get Rats after all the good reviews.

Wonder if this a "new" thing. pretty much thought he'd bail and we would never hear from him. (again) Its really a bummer he never did any of his new stuff live. I would hope that would be a part of the "promise". But will take what I get with Perry. After nearly nothing since 1998 even a ballad heavy CD I will take. I am still amazed with Angel Eyes. Wow, st

1. Point of Know Return 1977 A near flawless album I believe the most Walsh Livgren collaborations. 2. Leftoverture 1976 Flawless but never really got fully into Magnum Opus. 3. Song for America 1975 A very well balanced album between Walsh's Rock and Livgrens Epics. 4. Audio-Visions 1980 Most great and A couple of okay songs. Used to like Curtain of Iron but now find it just ok. Re

The Raised on Radio Demos before they scrapped/changed many songs and dropped Smith except for three songs. I remember an interview where someone said one song sounded more like a Scorpions song. One of the Journey albums when no one could verify if a song was a ROR demo except for the very unfinished With a Tear. But people have said "Let It Rock You" And "Somebody Somwhere&q

Not sure how to post pics in this forum but Kansas has some great and not so great album covers. The best Point on Know Return - With the ship sailing over the edge of a "flat earth" Monolith love the whole post apocalyptic scene with the american indians, amd the back cover outdoes the front. Kansas ST John Brown with the Bible and a rifle. and the tounge in cheek Greatest

Yep Peter Cetera for me. So glad I got to see him live w/ Chicago, have everything he is on in Chicago and solo. Would love to see Walsh do something that is AOR, as havent heard that much since his debut and Streets. He should really do an album w/ Livgren. As they seem to get along unlike Perry/Schon. Am I wrong or has Aldo Nova done something or gonna do something? Loved his first

IS this in Looneys? Sorry just had to put that in there as Perry fans are referred to Looney;s Agree with the bonus songs, Angel Eyes is no ballad, Gives me vibes of I Believe on ST, but better and more catchy. This song would have been a blessing to be put in between tracks 9-10 just to break up the sadness. Thanks to Easy to love, yeah a soft song, but upbeat. Thank God for Sun Sh
