Gold and diamonds cast a spell, it's not for me to know it well The treasures that I seek are waiting on the other side There's more that I can measure in the treasure of the love that I can find And though it's always been with me I must tear down the wall let it be All I am, and all that I was ever meant to be, in harmony Shining true and smiling back at all who wait to cross There is no

I would have to say the winter of 1981 (so some 82 as well) before this I only was to AC/MOR music (mom) with some disco thanks to my older sisters. and my dad only listened to talk radio. When i was 11 went on a road trip across america with dad and two older sisters who picked the radio stations, disco was now dead and was introduced to arena rock for the first time. Band like Journ

I like it a lot and thats coming from someone that didnt like most of her solo stuff. What would have made it so much better is a soulful guitar solo that would fit much better then that slow part near the end.

Kansas Vinyl Confessions - couple good songs rest bore me to death Journey Generations - Hey lets let Neal, Jon AND Ross sing. Only thing redeeming was a couple Augeri led vocal songs and all the Deen songs. Survivor Reach - Couple good/okayish rest forgettable Talking bout love could have been a great song but for some goofy reason they let Sullivan sing it. Steve Perry's unreleased

Hit home for me as I drove through it when it just started in St Paul. It is a shame the very few in minority are there just to loot and riot.

I know people raved about Arrival, but it had WAY to many ballads. (And they mostly sucked). Save Kiss Me Softly

A toughie for me, back in the 80s I would have said Escape-ROR Now I give Infinity (an utter classic) through Departure the nod, specially if you cant a couple songs on DaD. songs I have really came to appreciate over the years is Winds of march, opened the door, sweet and simple, and someday soon, also from the era there was so much live stuff/videos. If you were to include AtL and OtY

To me REO 70s much better. Quality writing and more straight ahead rockers. Even most of the 80s rockers (and I use that loosely) were just poppish songs, like I dont Wanna Know.

And Jonathan Cain and his she-Devil wife buy right into this. Another reason not to buy ANYTHING Jon has his name on after hooking up with her. I actually cant believe he went on this show.

Only know the radio hits, and from those I am not a fan of there "technical" playing (even though i can tell they are very talented). I also cant get past Lee's vocals but love the lyrics. I guess the only song I really got into was the non sounding Rush, Time Stands Still.

I have 3. My dad would always give us kids $100 for Christmas back in the day (and still does) and most music stores wouldnt take a $100 bill so I decided to by three hoping they would change it (they did). This must have been the Christmas of 1985-86. Ended up getting Survivors When Seconds Count, Kansas' Power, and Triumphs The Sport of Kings. Listened to Survivor and was pure bl
