Yeah the first track does sound like 'The Hunger' which detracts slightly from an otherwise excellent song. But the rest of the tracks are great too. Its right up there with Revolution in my book, and stylewise quite similar to Coup De Grace from last year. A great effort from the guys and indeed a fine start to 2011.

Toto - IV = Afraid Of Love Aerosmith - Permanent Vacation = Magic Touch Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger = I'm Not That Man Anymore those three are arguably the best songs on those respective albums. the one you mention which really holds true tho is 'The Prisoner' on NOTB. Ive always though that song is awesome and defo up there with the best tracks on that classic album. Cheers

Excellent album and Mike is spot on with his comparisons, esp Anberlin. Loads of influence in there. There's not really a filler on the album but after a cracking start it never really reaches the heights of 'Burn', 'Stars' and 'Where Are You Now' in the latter stages. Well worth a listen tho. Mate most modern rock this year is out stripping the MHR by some distance in my book. Skillet, Adelitas Way, Nural, Pound, Daughtry, Cavo, New Device and Veer Union are all excellent. & we have another magnificent album due soon in 'Monty Are I'
