I remember this song. Pete Newdeck had me demo some keys on it for Steve Grimmett at one point. I LOVE the original version, I thought Steve sounded amazing on the demo and wish it would've seen the light of day. Ironically, I had also played keys on the "first" First Signal record, which I really loved. It's always nice to hear a different approach.

Joe Lynn Turner will be performing in Vegas & Hollywood this week, before heading off to Europe. This lineup also features Steve Brown (Trixter) on guitars, Eric Ragno (The Babys) on keys, Sean McNabb (Lynch Mob) on bass & Matt Starr (Mr. Big) on drums, with special guests....

Thanks to Mark Mangold for inviting me down for tonight's final rehearsal before Drive, She Said takes off for Italy in the morning for the Frontiers Rock Festival! The guys sound great, and I think you're all in for a real treat! Here's some pics. Good luck guys! https://www.facebook.com/rockkeyboards/photos/?tab=album&album_id=10153413618472461

I remember him saying that he didn't think he should have to wear tuxedos every night, or something along those lines...will have to look for it.

Keith was a really cool guy. He was the first rock star I ever met at a NAMM show, and was always very good to me. An integral part of our Hammond family, which is really tight. And did I mention he was a legendary keyboard player that inspired scores of kids to try new things with synthesizers? A sad loss for us all.

Considering that Mark was probably caught unawares by a TMZ microphone, I'm sure there wasn't a lot of thought put into his quote. But it's not like this was the first time he got on stage with "Jack's solo band" or whatever he wants to call it. To be fair, Mark didn't book the tour, choose that firetrap of a club or purchase that stupid sparkler. But this wasn't the first gig where t

I can't possibly say enough great things about Kevin Gilbert. His studio was very close to my house. I struck up a loose friendship with him at the tail end of the Toy Matinee promotion, and he was a very cool dude.

My neighbor works for Jack Tempchin, who has been co-writing songs for the Eagles and Glen Frey since the beginning. (Peaceful Easy Feeling, Already Gone, You Belong to the city, etc.) It was tough enough when Rick Rosas (Rick the Bass Player) passed away. Everybody loved Glen. It's a sad week on my block.

I love Ale. He's the sweetest guy around. I told him at Firefest that they should make plush versions of him and sell them on his website! I know they would sell out! I would definitely buy one. Nothing but love for the guy.

Love all of these shows, and watching them with the kids. Of course they are obsessed with Daredevil, which we watch sporadically. I just can't do a marathon of that kind of violence. I love how after he beats the hell out of 4-5 hooligans, he's exhausted and collapses. That's what a real fight looks like. :)
