I saw UFO twice as the opening band, once for Rush (Farewell to Kings tour) and once for BOC (a year later). Only in America. Woof!

I think part of the story behind the stylistic changes in Aja and Gaucho (SD's last two albums before their long break) was that Walter Becker contributed less (rumor was substance abuse) than his song writing partner Donald Fagen. One can connected the dots between Aja and Fagen's solo work. Woof!

I like all of the Dan's albums. My favorite is Royal Scam, though like all Dan albums there are songs I will skip. Having said that ... Aja is a masterpiece. It is a genre creating album. All West Coast AOR starts here. And Aja still sounds fresh today. Steely Dan stands alone from the 70s acts. Aja stands alone in the West Coast genre. Woof!

It would not surprise me one little bit if many of the bands that we collectively love made their name playing a music style not necessarily of their choosing.

Music seems to have some pop sensibilities but ... Quotewikipedia The band is currently working on releasing a new EP, Popestar that is set to be released on September 16, the same day the Popestar Tour begins. Ghost is easily recognizable because of its eccentric on-stage presence. Five of the group's six members wear virtually identical, face-concealing costumes. The most distinguishable

https://youtu.be/R_PcRsgULts First I recommend the new one from Captain Black Beard - Its a Mouthful, despite the album name ;) It sounds so 1980s. Any I am having a senior moment. This band reminds of another band, especially the singer, and I can not for the life of me recall :s Any help would be appreciated :D Woof!
