Glen Burtnik contacted me earlier this week to inform me that he will be finishing up a run of dates in Mexico/south Texas with The Orchestra and was interested in stopping in Dallas on his way back home to New Jersey. The date that he has available is Monday, May 20...yea, I know, a Monday night, but this is another great opportunity to see an awesome singer/songwriter. Those of you who experi Forum: Noticeboard

From BSR:
Apologies for the delay in announcing this, but we now can confirm our slot on Sweden Rock Festival 2013. Black Star Riders will play Saturday June 8th on the Sweden Stage at 6:30pm. We will play a 75 minute set. Forum: Noticeboard
Don't get me started on "Untitled, Unmastered & Unemployed". I smile everytime I hear the songs, then I start to get sad.
I truly believe this was going to be the release (like The Goo Goo Dolls - "A Boy Named Goo") that was going to break the band big.
"Skeletons" was going to be the band's "Name"...IMHO. I heard multiple hit singles on that al Forum: Noticeboard

Additional announcement for the upcoming Damon Johnson concert at Poor David's Pub in Dallas on Saturday, February 9:
I have invited a very talented and up-and-coming local band to open for Damon acoustically. They are called Plowboy (made up of four 14-15 year olds) and here is a sample of them performing an original song a couple of weekends ago -

Zebra continues to draw very well in New York and New Orleans. They were pretty popular in the Midwest as well (especially St. Louis) and have not performed on the West Coast in forever. I was able to get Zebra booked in St. Louis for their first concert there in 15 years...drew over 1,000. Forum: Noticeboard
Initial price may be considered somewhat unreasonable...but if they are able to bring hundreds to the table...as opposed to some other bands that a couple dozen would be extremely interested in. Forum: Noticeboard
Well, I could certainly help with Randy Jackson/ZEBRA, Glen Burtnik, Mark Mangold, Terry Brock, Shooting Star, Damon Johnson/Brother Cane, Gregg Rolie, John Waite, Rik Emmett... Forum: Noticeboard
Agree with Glen Burtnik, Terry Brock, Shaw/Blades...
You could add ZEBRA's Randy Jackson (who could play some Beatles tunes with Glen and some songs by The Sign with Terry)...
Bring Mark Mangold as well.
I would also consider Shooting Star, as they would draw well in Chicago.
Rik Emmett and Dave Dunlop.
I've always wanted to see The Kings...great party band and should not be too ex Forum: Noticeboard

...some video of Ronnie when I hosted his last Dallas concert at a small, intimate venue - Poor David's Pub - October 7, 2011. I am at the beginning of the video in The Beatles t-shirt. Ronnie autographed the guitar he used for "Bad Motor Scooter" - we raffled it off for charity (American Red Cross).

Mainly in the Toronto/Oakville, Ontario area.
Shows in the United States are rare and highly recommended if you are somewhat in the area. I have spoken with Mister Zero for a few years now looking to put together a mini-tour (probably in the Midwest), but it has never been economically feasible...especially with today's economy. We still talk...and hope. Forum: Noticeboard

Message from Mr. Zero from The Kings:
Getting excited about our trip to Chicago this weekend, we are playing at the Bash on Wabash street festival on Sunday August 26 at 230pm. We hope to see lots of old friends and new ones too! And as usual, make a movie of ourselves pigging out at various famous eateries. So, come out and say hi! Forum: Noticeboard
