A true legend. People will be talking about him for generations. Very sad news.

Great CD. I have the physical copy in Brazil since 12th of Feb. Not a single track to skip. A LOT of energy, hooks, guitars, drums. The whole thing works perfectly. A 95% rate IMO.

My thoughts are the same of Terry K's. Good but not great. Yet! Hoping it will grow after listening to the whole album.

I also don't care about soundbytes at all. Sometimes it works against the song giving you a wrong impression.

Agreed with all 3 of you. Annoying style of singing. His constant screaming irritates me. Period

Eric, in those days we had a great concert every single week of the summer. I lived in New Jersey so it was either on Meadowlands, Garden State Arts Center, Madison Square Garden, Radio City or in Long Island (can't remember the name of the venue). It was like a paradise for rockers.

Me too. Well, sort of. Saw them opening for Whitesnake in the old Meadowlands Arena in NJ. At that time my interest was on then better than WS. What a great times those years...

Tried to listen to the full cd "Great Western Valkyrie" and had to stop around track 7. With the exception of one or two songs they are incredibly boring. I see that they are praised by fans around the world and the problem must be me. So, what am I missing?

Well I guess that by the comments of this post you can see an example of how many are grateful and how many are not. For me this don't even need to be a concern anymore. If ever was.

If you want to compare Albion with an older one, this would be X. No doubt about that. It doen't have a heavier metal track like in TNOTR and The Robe. But it is heavy and melodic as X. Die for Me is outstanding. Maybe those uptempo metal tracks would be back in the follow up album that should be out in March 2015.

I'll always will support this work that Andrew has been doing for so many years but as the original poster, the main reason I visit the site is the reviews. Andrew, keep them coming all the time and you'll see a difference in the site visit rate.

Harem Scarem is the first thing that came to mind when started to listen. No BJ nor Winger for me.

Andrew I'm just curious about one thing. And you feel free to respond or not. I'll understand. Dou you make ANY money with MRFest? Is it viable to try to pull this off every year for you? Or you think you should concentrate on the site and the label only? I read that was a little disappointed but it is realistically viable for you?

It became kind of clichè, every single Ten album after Babylon be compared to the first bunch. But THIS one is the first album that I don't miss Vinny Burns. You can feel that vibe from the first ones. Stormwarning and Heresy and Creed were two fine albuns. This one is just great.

I bought mine on the Firefest. The thing is really huge. A true return to the form. "Die for me" is just too spectacular!

I'm having a serious desagrement with and some friends about this. They INSIST that all this is a lie. Is there any other reliable source to confirm or denied all that Mitch Malloy says on the video? At least I already show them Andrew's Interview. Help me on this guys.

Very cool to read this from a bunch of nice guys that I had a pleasure to shake hands with, last October in Nottingham. Congrats!
