I noticed that nobody mentioned the new album despite many posts and promos from Andrew in the front page. When the band released Albion was the same thing. Just a few comments. Both seemed pretty solid releases. On the other hand when they went thru that fase of bad decisions a few years ago, everybody wanted to throw a rock in their window. That's human nature.

I know is not the kind of music we usually discussed here but anybody had a chance to listen to this album? After beeing "transported" to late 70's with Uptown Funk (reminds me Wild Cherry) I was curious about this guy and I think his new album have lot of AORish songs. Aside from a couple of annoying tracks I think this is a very good CD. What you guys think?

I would say that is their best since "Tambu" released 20 years ago.

Another thing that should be considered is the fact that many on this board (myself included) doesn't have the english as the "first" language. So we read faster than we write. AND the timezone is also something that kind of takes you out of some discussion sometimes.

Alien was a fantastic movie. It's a classic. But Aliens was sensational. 3 I didn't care much and 4 I think it's an OK movie. Must have seen Prometheus about 4 or 5 times already. Looking forward to both sequels.

The way I see this: A- Bobby KNOWS his voice past the point of no return. (this happens to all of us at the certain point of our lives). B- Because of it, he doesn't care anymore what the guys in the band think. c- His feelings are hurt. Imagine an old guy working in a company for 30 plus years and feeling they trying to push you out. (again, it's life). I thing this will be put behind but Tot

What a great show. Some of this filming should've shown the big crowd a little more. At least at the end of the song.

Great CD. I have the physical copy in Brazil since 12th of Feb. Not a single track to skip. A LOT of energy, hooks, guitars, drums. The whole thing works perfectly. A 95% rate IMO.

My thoughts are the same of Terry K's. Good but not great. Yet! Hoping it will grow after listening to the whole album.

I also don't care about soundbytes at all. Sometimes it works against the song giving you a wrong impression.

Eric, in those days we had a great concert every single week of the summer. I lived in New Jersey so it was either on Meadowlands, Garden State Arts Center, Madison Square Garden, Radio City or in Long Island (can't remember the name of the venue). It was like a paradise for rockers.

Tried to listen to the full cd "Great Western Valkyrie" and had to stop around track 7. With the exception of one or two songs they are incredibly boring. I see that they are praised by fans around the world and the problem must be me. So, what am I missing?

Well I guess that by the comments of this post you can see an example of how many are grateful and how many are not. For me this don't even need to be a concern anymore. If ever was.

If you want to compare Albion with an older one, this would be X. No doubt about that. It doen't have a heavier metal track like in TNOTR and The Robe. But it is heavy and melodic as X. Die for Me is outstanding. Maybe those uptempo metal tracks would be back in the follow up album that should be out in March 2015.

I'll always will support this work that Andrew has been doing for so many years but as the original poster, the main reason I visit the site is the reviews. Andrew, keep them coming all the time and you'll see a difference in the site visit rate.

Harem Scarem is the first thing that came to mind when started to listen. No BJ nor Winger for me.
