Likewise. As tempted as I am by the samples, I'm not listening to anything else now until the album arrives. Just a few more days to go...

I love half of HFOF (Wildest Dreams, Who Will You Run To Now, Runaways, Game They Call Love, I Am Rock) but I struggle with the rest. Personally, I find both Diamond and Sunbound to be more consistent albums, with the latter just edging it for my favourite BF album. So many great tunes on the new record, the pick of the bunch (for me) being Last Forever, Big City Dream, Phantasmagoria, Don

I have nothing against the debut...it's a damn fine album. I just prefer many of their subsequent records.

Missed it. No doubt it won't be long before it resurfaces. Incidentally, 'Here Today...' is the song that has received the acoustic treatment for the Japanese release.

Fab tune...I think I like that more than Sinking Ship. Although I do wish they'd gone all out and done a full song in the style of that intro. Harem Scarem meets Bollywood!

I received the Japanese CD today and what a cracking tune. A wonderful addition to an already great album. The acoustic version of 'For Better...' is also rather nice too. Love these guys.

Brother Firetribe is the pick of the bunch for me - a fantastic collection of feelgood tunes. I also like a lot of HOL. I appreciate the talent of Eclipse and Monumentum is a good album...I just wish there was a little more variety / diversity on offer. It's just a bit samey.

Just 3 songs I'm struggling with - 'The Other Option', 'Reign of Fire' and the title track...the rest is right up my street. I particularly like the ballad 'The Sun Will Never Rise Again', 'Concussion' and 'Grains of Sand' (love that ascending riff that leads into the chorus). Overall I'm very happy with this release.

Strange one for me this...I enjoy it while I'm listening to it but as soon as it's finished it's gone. Even after repeated spins, the songs just aren't sticking.

Due to the high number of releases today, I've only given them one spin each...but initial thoughts are positive. Also really impressed with the new Brother Firetribe and House of Lords. A good day for new music.
