I like Harnell and I wish him the best of luck, but I have zero interest in anything other than an original line-up Skid Row.

Obviously in the minority here but overall I think it's incredibly good. 'I am the Fire' is an instant classic. Other standouts are 'Apocalyptic', 'Amen', 'Sick Individual' & 'I like it Heavy'. I'm just not quite feeling it with the ballads (yet).

Not quite as instant as the last few albums but definitely worth perservering with (for those so inclined). A real grower. Gutted I couldn't catch them on the FEAR tour.

Sixx AM - Modern Vintage. I loved their last album - they actually felt like a proper band with a signature style and sound. Modern Vintage is lacklustre and directionless in comparison and just sounds like a mish-mash of ideas tossed together by three strangers. They also cut DJ Ashba's balls off. Boooo!

Thanks Bryan, always look forward to your thoughts on a new Scarem album. :) 'Stardust' really is incredible. What a glorious way to close the album (discounting acoustic bonus tracks, of course).

Harry & Pete have occasionally strayed back into Rubber territory over the years, but I'm really not hearing it on '13'. The sound may have evolved slightly, but this is still a full on, over-the-top Harem Scarem record that carries all the classic HS elements we've come to expect. Great album.

A little underwhelmed so far. It has it's moments ('Stars', 'Gotta Get it Right', 'Give Me A Love') but overall it feels like a mish-mash of ideas thrown together instead of a cohesive sounding piece of work. Not in the same league is 'This Is Gonna Hurt', imo.

Human Nature is my favourite album from the post-Rubber era (2002-2008). So many great songs on that record.

Really enjoying this record. 'Shoot To Kill, 'America', 'Inside Love', 'Headlines' & 'Still' are instant favourites and the production is top notch. Even on my shitty car stereo this thing sounds absolutely fantastic. Well done all Lars! A second album please, fellas....;)

I've really enjoyed watching Colombia so far this tournament - Quintero & James Rodriguez in particular. Hopefully we'll get to see a little more of the highly rated Jackson Martinez.
