This one slipped under the radar at the back end of 2015 but what a corker. A collection of infectiously catchy pop/rock/punk tunes and probably my favourite PP album to date. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdT21G38AQs&feature=youtu.be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDPBbwxoctU

Really hoping we'll get new studio albums from H.e.a.t & Harem Scarem next year.

For me it's been a cracking year with many of my favourite artists putting out quality new offerings (Iron Maiden, Muse, Rammstein, The Darkness, Buckcherry, Papa Roach, H.e.a.t, Harem Scarem, Halestorm, Shinedown, Def Leppard). Also, discovering Ghost was something of a revelation - I can't believe I stuck my head in the sand with this lot for so long. What a band.

One of my favourite songs from TDTW....it's bloody great live, too. 'Time to believe....'

I'm a bit disappointed with it. 'Higher Truth', 'Murderer of Blue Skies' and lead single 'Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart' are obvious highlights....but the rest is rather dull. Not Mr Cornell's finest work, this one. :/

Iron Maiden - Live After Death is still the Daddy of live albums for me. Less obvious / popular.... Harem Scarem - Live at the siren Buckcherry - Live and Loud Rammstein - Volkerball

Shame they didn't hit the UK in support of the rather excellent 'Thirteen'...I would have loved to have seen some of those songs played live. That Blu-ray will make a nice alternative, though.

Two spins in and I love it. 'Oblivion' is the stand out track for me so far - should be fantastic played live. Other initial favourites are 'Dangerous', 'Thick As Thieves', 'Cut The Chord', 'How Did You Love' and 'Misfits'. I do agree that it could have done with a big uptempo rocker in the vein of Devour, but front to back this is top drawer stuff from Shinedown.

I've enjoyed everything I've heard from the new Shinedown thus far, so I'm looking forward to that. Also excited about the new Chris Cornell album and the upcoming live Rammstein Blu-ray.

Got my 'autorip' download from Amazon early this morning but I haven't had chance to listen to it yet. I intend to lock myself away in the man-cave with a glass of Trooper ale later. Up The Irons!

I don't usually go for this kind of thing but I decided to take a punt after reading the Metal Hammer review - what a corker! Heavy, melodic and drenched in atmosphere, with no growly/screamy/shouty vocals to be found anywhere. 'From The Pinnacle To The Pit' is just incredible...one of my favourite tracks of 2015. Time for me to check out their previous albums.
