It's been rather quiet on the Scarem front for a while. Does anyone know if Harry & Pete have anything up their sleeves for 2017?

I really like that. Hopefully the rest of the album is of a similar standard.

I bought the first Re-Animate cd direct from Halestorm's website but it went quickly out of print and has since commanded a hefty price on the secondary market. However, as already mentioned, it is available as a double-vinyl that includes the second EP. Anyhoo, really liking this track...much more than the Whitesnake cover. Looking forward to hearing the rest on Friday.

Booked for Manchester. Our 8 year old daughter will lose her mind when she finds out (she's KISS crazy).

Absolutely gutted to find out Michael Caswell is no longer with us. A talented guitarist and engaging teacher - he will be sorely missed. RIP :(

Very underwhelmed so far. As already mentioned, the first disc isn't too bad - 'Halo On Fire' being my personal favourite that bunch of songs. However, with the exception of 'Spit Out The Bone', disc 2 something of a non-event....it's just noise. Disappointing.

Agreed - the album loses a bit of momentum in the second half. If they'd dropped 'Without You' and shuffled the running order, I think it would feel a little more balanced. Still lots of really good stuff on it to enjoy, though.

Had this on repeat since receiving the MP3 from Amazon in the early hours and my initial thoughts are that it's very good but not as strong as 'Prayers For The Damned' (Still my favourite record of 2016). 'Wolf At Your Door', 'Barbarians', 'We Will Not Go Quietly', 'That's Gonna Leave A Scar' and the melancholy album closer 'Helicopters' are my initial favourites. However, I'm not entirely sol

The 3 or 4 songs they put out to promote the album hinted at something very special. However, those tracks are (for me) the best cuts on the album. The rest is rather bland. A very disappointing release.

I'm in the minority on this one as it's probably my least favourite track on the album (alongside the bonus track 'Precious Little...'). Not a bad video, mind.

A bit disappointed in this one. For me the best tracks are those they released to promote the album...very little else is sticking.

Like that and the album soundbytes a lot. If R* Games ever do another 80s themed Grand Theft Auto, they should get these guys to score it.

Cracking night....Dave Meniketti really does leave it all out there on the stage. Great talent. Oh and thanks to the dude who shouted for 'Don't Wannna Lose' - that was the cherry on top.:)

Really enjoyed spinning this over the last couple of days - a classy re-working of a great album that makes a nice companion piece to the Rock Candy release. Just a shame about the choice of bonus tracks.

Likewise...well, the only one under the 'Monsters of Rock' banner. I have been since to Download but generally, festivals just aren't for me. So I suppose my favourite performances would be Maiden & KISS. Roth was pretty good too. I have vague memories of GnR, probably because I spent most of their set trying to retreat to the back of the field to escape the crush. bmg Wrote: ------
