I agree with Mushanga I thought it was the weakest song on that album. They played Pamela in Glasgow.

Terry, Again !!!!! You are a hopeless case. Lol !!! You are not alone re the sonics but me and many others just do not agree with you and that's from listening to the cd. Its the quality of the songs that matter and this cd is full of great songs. Just make sure you catch them on tour mate, they have never sounded better.

Terry I meant performance wise as I know Yes have a big following in USA. Great energy from Toto which Yes will find hard to match. Dude when are you going to let up on the new cd? The general consensus from fans of the band is that it is a very good release, excellent in fact. My observation if you are a fan then you are in the minority. Is it their best ? Probably not but it is certainly we

I am so jealous but at least I got to shake hands with the band at the end. Ive spoken to a few people today who went but were not huge fans. Suffice to say they are now. They were completely blown away. Im still struggling to come back down to earth. Lol !!!

Simon I'm really sorry, I should have typed Spoilers in my post. I was just so hyper when I got in last night. The tickets said show started at 7.30 but they hit the stage at 8pm.

I'm just back from the Glasgow gig and will have to be very careful not to ramble. Simply put Toto were absolutely feckin sensational tonight at a sell out Glasgow gig. I have seen these guys on numerous occasions but never have I seen them better than tonight. The reception they got from the crowd was amazing but they earned every last cheer they received. They played for 2 hours 15 minutes a

The age group was really mixed in Glasgow which is always an encouraging sign. I can't wait to see her again.

Saw Beth last night in Glasgow and she was simply sensational. I felt last time I saw her that there was a lack of rapport with the audience, well that was certainly not the case last night. Great deal of warmth and humour from the stage which was reciprocated by the audience. What a wonderful performer who really deserves greater success. If you get the chance to catch her during the tour you sh

Totally disagree. I think her vocals compliment the music perfectly. I think there is plenty of power in her vocals particularly during The Greatest Show On Earth. Surely we don't need screeching and growls throughout the album. Really happy with her imput on this cd.

Shade just a question. Do Sabaton draw more than Nightwish in Europe ? It's a genuine question because I thought Nightwish were a far bigger draw. I stand to be corrected mate.

Terry I love your enthusiasm for our music and your contributions to this board. It's just that you post so often and sometimes come across as authoritative on whatever you post. So when I learned you hadn't actually listened to the full album, I'll be honest it got my back up. Now if your name is Paul Jerome Smith, then that's another matter. In fact he gets to know albums so well that he can na

Mmmmm just thought that to give a measured opinion of an album you really had to listen to it in full first. I honestly thought given the amount of debate and opinion you had on XIV, that you had actually heard it in full. Oh and yes you can certainly get a feel for a cd from sound bites and samples so please don't be so condacending. You are certainly entitled to an opinion on whatever you h

WTF !!!! What is it with you and the "horrible production" The production on this cd is exceptional and sounds huge and the majority of people who have listened to it feel the same. In the words of John McEnroe ..... You cannot be serious !!!!!

Wow Tim that's a cool post. I have to say I have not heard all of the RS cd, so it would be wrong of me to comment. Your description of the new Toto however is spot on and it's what sets them apart from every other band on the planet. Their style cannot be tied down to anything in particular and repeated listens continue to throw new highlights at you. Throughout their career and probably upto an

Couple of comments. Yes I know it had been mentioned before but there wasn't really much discussion. I think that's whats great about their music, so much variety, with everyone having their favourites. Don't agree with you Joe. Oceanborn your favourite ? Wow. The band were finding their feet back then and have certainly made much stronger albums since. There is also tons of bombast on this ne

Not much comment so far on this much anticipated release. I've lived with it for a week now and initially found it hard to fully appreciate it as there is so much going on throughout a very long cd. I am now firmly of the opinion that it is the best album they have made and it blasts Imaginaerum firmly into touch. It combines all that is good about the band , particularly the best bits from Da

Totally disagree but it's only my opinion. What comes out loud and clear guys, particularly you Terry, is that you just do not rate Joseph Williams. I think his voice on the new album and on the live DVD, is exceptional. Re Bobby Kimball, to use one of my earlier terms, he was a part of the sum of all the parts. I always preferred it when Paich and Lukather took over lead vocals. Not saying BK wa
