Just couldn't make it due to amount of gigs I've been to in November. I am so pleased that it was a success and if held again next year I will be in attendance.

Got to say Gill, I have no problem with sound in The Hydro. I was there 2 weeks ago for Australian Pink Floyd and the sound was loud and excellent.

Saw a number of friendly faces last night and it was good to catch up. The band were on excellent form and it's definitely the best I have seen them. Onto Sheffield on Wednesday.

In the words of the late great Heath Ledger. "Why So Serious ??" Thank goodness a number of your fellow countrymen know of and pay homage to the band. On a serious note SAHB were and still are an acquired taste but in the 70s they were a breath of fresh air, with a combination of theatrics and heavy rock. Delivered in storyteller style by Alex Harvey. My favourite release by them

Glad you are doing well youngster. We are actually travelling south of the border next week, as we are coming down to Sheffield to see Edens Curse, but it's straight back next morning. Hopefully get the chance to catch up with you early in the new year.

Wow Terry "Nobody relates Midnight Moses as a cover" Really ??? Oh I have just lost soooo much respect for you dude. I think you will find that the wonderful Sensational Alex Harvey Band were responsible for enlightening us with this majestic rocker back in the 70s https://youtu.be/N8WVu6MJsS0 The Daisies paid respect to SAHB bassist Chris Glen, who was at the Glasgow gig. I have to agree with you both Gill and Mark, the venue did seem to be bursting at the seams and I noticed people on the stairs at the exit, unable to get into the hall. It was an all ticket sell out but I wonder if they were over ambitious with the capacity. We stayed and gave The Answer a chance but all agreed that they were miles behind the Daisies in all areas. As for your observation Peter

Just back from the show. Let me start by saying that The Answer are a decent hard working band who went down reasonably well at Glasgow tonight but to be fair they don't float my boat. Why did I start with that statement ? Well they headlined tonight that's why. Who makes these decisions. I would have thought that anyone who knew anything about these two bands would know who the headliners sho

I was there on Wednesday at Glasgow. First time I have seen Evergrey live and they were excellent and I would so love to see them again but headlining. I cannot use enough superlatives to describe Delain. I know three friends who caught them for the first time, one of which is not sold on female fronted rock bands. Let's just say that the three of them were totally blown away. They were except

I've been waiting for two weeks for Amazon to deliver my copy. Was really looking forward to it but I have to say, that in this day and age, no matter how good the material is, 33 minutes running time is not good value for money.

I really hope that on their UK tour with Dead Daisies, it's the Daisies that are headlining the show. If not I'll be making an early exit. Saw them supporting AC/DC some years ago and bought their first release. I'm not impressed. One of Classic Rocks favourite bands, hence the hype and exposure. Far many more deserving bands out there.

I've held back from posting as I'm one of Paul Logue's mates but it was released on October 14th and there has been little feedback on this board. This really surprises me as the band certainly has many fans amongst posters on this site. I hope many people get to hear this cd, as it is IMHO the best the band has released. Quality melodic hard rock from start to finish and most certainly in my top

First time in the historic Hall in Edinburgh and was very impressed. What a very enjoyable night we had. If you are a fan of John Carpenters film soundtracks and fancy hearing the versions rocked up, then you really should try and catch this band if they play anywhere near you. The soundtrack material was supplemented throughout by tracks from his last two, non soundtrack releases. Sound was e

I've been waiting for this to arrive for ages. The release was held up for over a year I think and I was anticipating a load of extras in the form of live footage. Well !!!!! From the original press release of the set list, there are 4 songs missing, namely. The Grand Illusion, Lady, Suite Madame Blue and Come Sail Away. This leaves a set list of 9 songs, 8 if you consider that the last one is Ge

Beautiful state you live in Darren but I don't think I'll ever moan about the rain in Scotland again. You could start off that playlist with the intro to Black Sabbath.

Still sad after 6 years. Great vocalist and a superb frontman with an abundance of stage presence. I was lucky enough to see him and the band on two occasions. The live DVD, Made In Switzerland, is a fantastic legacy and testament to Steve Lee. Surely one of the best gigs ever filmed.
