Spot on. Play them back to back with the Richie Zito produced, Brigade album. No remastering of Nevison's work on those would get close.

From The Guardian "From inner groove loops to absurd backmasking, artists have long found ways to embed secret songs, cryptic writings and coded messages in their albums" http://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/jan/25/history-hidden-tracks-musicians-albums

They're very different of course. Plenty of remastered reissues which are just seemingly louder. A different, more complicated, and costly exercise altogether to remix an album. That's why it seldom happens.

Er, it's free to listen to chaps. Sure, you get some ads and some restrictions compared to the subscription levels, but no need to pay if you don't want to. I buy more physical product than ever now.

Have you heard Ousey's work with Virginia Wolf, pre-dating Heartland? Some great vocals on both albums.

My Goodness. Very strong indeed. Live TV can be unforgiving, but he sounds great. Listening carefully, my impression is that he is live. BV's are certainly on tape, although that's not at all unusual of course. Thanks for posting, enjoyed that.

From Classic Rock magazine http://classicrock.teamrock.com/news/2015-01-18/cinderella-are-nostalgia-act-says-labar Cinderella guitarist Jeff LaBar says the band are essentially a nostalgia act because they tour without new music. Their last studio release was 1994’s Still Climbing. Since then their output has consisted of live and compilation products. They've performed only a handful

Prisoner of love is superb. A brilliant vocal from Lou, before he was struck down by illness. Listen closely to his voice on the fade out - turn it up in volume at the same speed it fades. Just brilliant.

Live performance not their forte. Much better on record in my experience, and I would suggest more comfortable in the studio.

Totally agree Terry. They were pioneers for songwriting, harmonies, production techniques. Plenty of bands we worship here who would put the Beatles up there as key influences. Just ask Jack Blades..

Loads of guitar widdling on that extended version. Loved the fact that Neal Schon's solo, from a perceived wimpier band than many of the others involved, was the standout.
