Totally agree, particularly re 87. If you put aside the commercial success (silly to say, I know),to me it's average fare. You're right too that the vast success of the singles masks a lot the filler.

Good album, but interesting that an album that was released as late as 89 takes the accolade. Some call when you stack up all of the JRNY, Foreigner, Survivor, Styx, Reo material that came before.

Totally agree on this,Touch. Might be worth adding in the thoughtless goons, who in a far from full venue decide to stand six inches in front of you, blocking the view when there's plainly plenty of vantage points nearby.
