Possibly the most indescribable cover version of any song i can remember hearing! Don't be tempted to skip the intro because you can't imagine what's coming when the vocals start! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=kvpCjiVv2Cg

Bit late as they only did one album back in 2000 but it was a great one. American Pearl.

The best example i've come across is the Stupid Angel album from 1999. It was a Harem Scarem Japanese side project with 6 tracks sung in English, three in Japanese and one with Japanese verses and English chorus.

The new album "Vital" is due out on 16th October. If "Someone, Anyone" is a sign of what's to come, it should be a killer album. Can't wait to see them in a few weeks time!

Definitely "War Of Angels", bloody great album without a duff song. It was one of my favourite albums of last year and still gets played regularly.

Guy Speranza was once described (in Sounds i think) as having a voice "like an air raid siren". A better and more apt description of a vocalist, i've yet to see.

Oddly enough, i've spent the last few days listening to my favourite Raven album "Rock Until You Drop" for the first time in years. Still sounds great all these years later.

"Never Going Back To Ok" is a fantastic album that never got the attention it deserved.

It's easy to get paranoid over these things, how many different back-ups do you have to be sure you've got enough? A decent RAID set-up is a good way to go, and maybe online storage, and DVDs, and a couple of external HD's............ Where do you stop? I'd be fucked anyway as i recently sold all my cps although much like Rocknut, it's my photographs i'd be really devastated to lose.

I prefer it when it takes a few spins, the immediate albums are always the ones i get bored with quickest. I must admit, i like the first two tracks.

The blokes a fucking genius. 11.59 was a stunning album that's up there with the best of them in recent years but his recent America ep really showed it wasn't a one-off. I could listen to the title track "America" on a loop, an incredible song that really showcases his talent. I love the fact that he doesn't fit any

I've still got one of the original signed "white album" copies of Lightning To The Nations that i sent off for when it was advertised in Sounds for a few weeks. Funnily enough, i dug it out for the first time in years, a few days ago, when i was having a look through my vinyl. Certainly worth good money now.

I haven't heard this for years until today as my only copy is on vinyl. A lot of albums from the 80's are a letdown years later, but not this one! What a piece of sheer brilliance, fantastic songs full of power and energy with Kelly Hansen's best ever vocal performance. Sounds just as good twenty four years later!

Roth very day of the week. I totally lost interest in them with Hagar, although i don't dislike his own stuff. Van Halen would never have become the superstars they went on to be if he'd been singing on VH1.
