I agree. He's phenomenal & among my most respected artist. He never puts out a bad album. I never have to skip songs. It's a great album and very consistent with all his past work.

'In Another Life' is an awesome song & never leaves my playlist. Amazing how 10 years rushes by so quickly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksr7LLTYYNs Always loved 'A Date with Destiny' from the Melodicrock.com CD1. A very Springsteen sounding song. http://www.melodicrock.com/cd/MRCD1-07.mp3

Here is one so bad, Tommy Shaw would barely take part in it. He appears for about 1 second near the end. http://www.popscreen.com/v/7rHBG/Styx-Music-Time

Kevin Chalfant- Speak (from Shadows Fade cd) It's not KCs best cd but it does have what I consider his best performance on the closing ballad. Sorry I could not find a video link.

The one time I heard Kevin sing the 'MEGAFORCE' live he substatuted the word "megaphone" for "megaforce". Suddenly that song made sense. That must have been the original lyric changed to fit the movie.

TASCAM CD-GT2 That might do it if it is important enough to spend the $160.

I think Michael Bormann has one of the best voices of this genre. That dude can sing. I liked that last JH record (especially that 1st track) and will likely get the new one as well ...but MB always rocks.

As a devout christian, I appluade rock artists who do music about there faith. I enjoyed Chalfants gospel record. Philip Bardowells christian record was I think is his best work. I wish there were more artist that felt called to do the same. The christian theme actually draws my attention to Lou Gramm where I had privously written him off.

While I have a great deal of respect for Lou and what he's been through, his fight to come back and for the faith that he has found, I'm not sure if I would go see him live. I expect I will like the new CD and would like to hear him do those as I assume that he can perform those songs well as they are written in his current range. I would not however, want to hear him butcher the classic Foreig

After reading Andrew's list I was surprised to not see Soto's album there as I would place it somewhere in the top 5. While not as rock as past work I think it is best and most consistent (with easily 5-6 incredible songs). 21st Century, Hey, and Gin & Tonic Sky should all be in the running for song of the year. Or does the 'download only' aspect disqualify it/them?

My interest in Hugo (along with Kevin Chalfant) are what originally drew my to MR.com. It is releases like the recent Valintine and Ramos/Hugo CD that make me long in every day. Hugo's voice is weak when matched up to Steve Perry but I have enjoy it for what it is. But I can understand the criticisms because I have the same problem when I listen to Steve Overland and how he isn't as good as M

I have to disagree with Kermit on Joan Jett 1988...I believe she was with Robert Plant that year (in Memphis) and I thought she was Great. I didn't expect her to be able to sing as well as she did and she played all her hit. I was not that big a fan and had not realized how many hets she had. Not boring at all. But I agree with Mitch about Yes 2005 (St. Louis). I actually fell asleep. I have

Mike Reno...He may have packed on a few, but he still sounds fantastic. I think JSS has gotten light years better than he was in the 80's.

JSS is somewhat unique in that he such a diverse artist that I do not have expectations as too what he should sound like. I would have been happy with another Lost in Translation but I think Beautiful Mess is equally as good if not better. Incidently is was comments made Coco I read somewhere regarding it that finally convinced me to check it out. It may be the best of the year for me...but I

I agree on some of the gems like Journey, Whitesnake, Springfield , and Lukather, that have come this year but have to disagree with some your duds. Both the JSS and Harem Scarem are GREAT ALBUMS!! (haven't heard Jorn yet). On my list of best song of this year I have to include: JSS - Hey (this song could make him a superstar if people would take notice) Heram Scarem - Your Days Are Numb

I have to agree. Adam Holland has a giant white aura surrounding him because his white shirt on and Hugo has a big brown one ....it becomes very distracting after a while! I love having the dvd but wish the film crew had done a better job with it.
