Notts was jumping, Kelly had problems working out which were aisles and which were rows of seats when he jumped into the crowd twice, but the others did plenty of crowd raising too

The only southern rock band I've really liked is 38 Special and I hear plenty of their swampy pop/rock song influence in country bands like Florida Georgia Line, Halfway To Hazard (& Chad Warrix solo debut) Williams Riley and even Sister Hazel... Halfway To Hazard - Countryfied http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwkcfjnYvlw Chad Warrix - Rain on the Roof http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD

Found this German 1 hour acoustic show by Foreigner, including "In Pieces" and more from the Can't Slow Down album. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPnjyrQIn6E Genius that he is, Jeff Pilson still walks like a chicken, when he's sat down, lol

I'm sure we can all be right arse holes sometimes on stage or not, I very much doubt if bands care whether some of their fans are arse holes or not.

Bloody hell, what a band, best live sound and best stage performance I think I've ever seen - and Mick was off ill - get well soon Father of Rock !! FM - voices sounded great but with the low PA and probably short sound check, the guitars sounded a bit "underwater." Must be close to 15 times I've seen them now and there will be many more. Europe - only ever had THE album and never

Newspaper release prior to this week's Glasgow gig :- "This year, with new vocals by Hansen, they covered Foreigner’s best tracks on I Want to Know What Love is – The Ballads for Valentine’s Day. But rather than trading on past glories the current line-up will record a new album next year. Jones said: “It’s tough these days deciding on the direction we are going to take. I

Some of the later tracks are the best - "What You Get" & "Mr Ticket Man" are really good I liked Firebirth a lot more than the last album with Steve Lee (I gave it away), Firebirth almost had a Guns & Roses feel to it at times.

I sort of hoped for an acoustic session with Europe and FM, like they did with Styx & Don Felder in USA, but yes, its good to see them getting the attention at least

I don't enjoy his production so much when played from a CD, I have to faff around with EQ levels to enjoy that album, then faff back when I play something else, but when converted to MP3 and played through a system EQd for MP3, his work sounds really organic. Journey last album sounds so much better from my Ipod than from the CD. In comparison, the likes of Shinedown, Daughtry and Nickleback

Its nice to see a rock band actually included on an awards show, miming or not. At least they didn't mime backing vocals. If that's the format of the show, then you're buggered if you do, buggered if you don't, but how else do you reach such a big audience ? Its good for rock music Great song, well sung, looking forwards to the new album

Cheesy lyrics = ear cholesterol ?? The Higher, Fire, Desire thing is usually a warning of even worse to come in verse 2, but I don't always expect rocket science either, a basic story told well does just fine, helps the song live more. Rob Thomas has proven that it doesn't always have to rhyme or that the rhyming word can be moved to less expected place.

Me too, tho there's less rock that moves me these days, more new country TBH, must be my age !! Snowy White's "Bird of Paradise" was mentioned at our Monday pub quiz and I had the single years back, I got the remastered version off I-Tunes the next day and am playing it none stop. Likewise Sad Cafe re-forming 18 months ago, some great catching up with long lost faves I only use

I have a balance problem and have at times struggled to stop walking offline to the left, its not permanent but things like strobes really set them off. A Magnum gig in Wolverhampton a few years back had a lot of strobes flashing about (why ??) and I missed half the show peppering the pavement outside with looked like pizza I hadn't eaten. As my 2 mates had had a few drinks, I had to drive
