Bob i wasn't having a pop at you about disposable income or implying you have more than others - i'm sure like the rest of us you pick and choose the gigs you attend - no one can do them all! I was generalising in if you ask someone why they didn't attend a gig they'd say 'I couldn't afford it' and in some cases because they've chosen other gigs over the one i'm refrencing. Totally agree if pe

Looking forward to this - although I wish The Robin date was earlier and not on the day I get back from HRH AOR as i'll be totally fucked! but missing VEGA at The Robin just ain't happening even if I have to be sky high on drugs to make it happen! Woody

Gigs in general are suffering with poor turn outs irrespective of genre. A lot of it boils down to money and people not been able to afford to do every show they want and having to pick and choose which shows they go to. I don't personally feel it's about apathy those who want shows and moan about local shows genuinely and frequently go to as many as their bank balance will allow. I think t

It was about Half 9 at the Robin! Not as long a set as i'd for, but It was top notch Mitch is a great performer and his voice was spot on. All the oldies were amazing too hear, never seen Mitch before so over the moon he's keen to do more touring! Woody

yeah I can understand that Matt - this album may have more impact with you as it's probably their most accessible and commercial sounding album. Woody

I've always thought HOS have been a decent band, but I've never been overly excited by them. When Andreas Novak joined them I thought he'd knock them up a level not just vocally but in the song writing too and I wasn't wrong and felt the band improved a lot with him. The band have gone from strength to strength because 'Sour Grapes' is awesome! Without doubt in my opinion the best thing they'v

I'm loving it! I expected something in the vein of the previous album raw and rocky, but they've gone for a really polished smooth sound this time on this track so debut/SIN fans should be happy! Green's guitar's are immense and of course very happy about how loud Ged's keyboards are in the mix. Very much looking forward to the entire album - even more so now! Woody

Green is a top class guitarist, seen him a couple of times with the Tyke's and he fills the role perfectly. Really intrigued about the new Tyke's album... Cant wait for the Robin show - haven't seen the Tyke's at an intimate/Club venue for a long while! he was also in Rubicon Cross with CJ Snare (Firehouse) but obviously have a real soft spot for Pride who I saw supporting Vaughn way back w

I was surprised at Stone Broken too - they are a quality live act and i'm sure they'll go down well with those also into modern rock and heavier edged bands, but not an obvious choice - They'll definitely add a bit of musical variety to the Fest..... From the same neck of the woods as me but I don't think they are as posh as me..... Woody

....freaking AWESOME, she's a stunning live vocalist - loved it! Feel good awesomeness... Was feeling rough but with it been The Robin I still went and so glad I did! Great to see and hear some straight ahead melodic rock at The Robin, lots of small venues can be pants for Keyboards getting lost or buried in the mix, The Robin is perfect for melodic Rock/AOR cause it's Keyboard friendly....pro
