He and I both talked to you at the first MR Fest. He always had a smile and always joking around. He loved this site and the music. He had some bad things happen over the past year. His mom who he was very close to committed suicide, he lost his brother, etc. He had a hard time dealing with all this and I guess it was just to much for him to handle. It shocked me and everyone that knew him.

I am good friends with Andy G. Andy didn't post a lot on here, but visited this site daily and went to both Melodicrock Fests. He was a huge fan of this site and music. He used to go by Andy Growden on here too. He passed away on Thursday. I know he met a lot of people on here at different shows.

I don't post on here a lot, but am on this site numerous times a day and read the message board every day. My daughter Kaylee, wife, and I will be on the Dr. Oz show in the US on Monday March 8th. If you get a chance watch it. I am hoping to make it out to MRFest II. The first one was one of my favorite concerts ever. I had always been a fan of Push and met Martie Peters and it was at MRfes

The first time I listened to it, it didn't impress me. I really like it now. Not as good as early ryche, but definately better than Q2K, Mindcrime II, etc.

I can't even choose the best song on the Shinedown CD. Here you have four votes for Shinedown and each of you have chosen a different song.

I can't wait too. A few years ago I saw Ron when he was in Iron Horse. They played a lot of old Keel songs.

Saw Shinedown last night in Detroit. They are great live. Black Stone Cherry was the opening band, they were also very good.

I went to the Newport Music Hall's website and it says the show is cancelled. I am going to be in Columbus that day and would have loved to have gone.

Thought the same thing Kent. The song sounded great. The concert was awesome. It has now been 24 hours and since the concert ended it has really dawned on me what an event I saw yesterday. I have been to a lot of concerts in my day, but never have I or maybe ever will I see this much talent in one day. Scrap Metal alone was well worth the admission times 3. Mark Slaughter, Nelson's, Jack

Just got home from the show too. I would like to thank Andrew too for putting this show together. I had a great time. All the bands were great, but two stuck out for me. I have been a huge fan of Martie Peters for years. I have joked around with him that someday I was going to go over to Denmark to see him play live. Seeing MPG was the highlight of the show for me, and they did not disappoi

I know they are not a band normally discussed on here, but I have always liked them. Has anyone got their new CD? I was just wondering how it is.

I have to agree. That was one heck of a game. I am paying for it this morning at work. I have to say, just as enjoyable to me was watching Michigan and LLLLLoyd Carr get embarrassed again in the Rose Bowl. Go Buckeyes.
