...my continued favorite album of Coop's (and I'm a long time fan) is 'From The Inside'. Classic Coop attitude combined with the best writing of Bernie Taupin. I seldom put it on that I don't end up listening all the way through.

... is anyone here familiar with the band Quartz ? On a recent visit to my favorite Record store, I picked out a few used and unfamiliar albums/CD's to check out. One of them is Quartz - 'Resurrection'. Nothing on this Metal Blade release says that it's a live recording, but it is...AND a cracking live recording at that !!! I'm really enjoying this. ...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quartz_%28

...that series of 12 or so interview clips is really good, T. My favorites of the AD albums are Art Of The State and Prime Mover. And...I have to admit to really enjoying One Of Several Possible Musics. Kerry is probably my all time favorite musician, so I've followed what he's doing pretty closely. He seems such an everyday guy...but is simply a musical genius.

...it is great music created by highly skilled musicians. The truth is that that once golden era of great stardom and great financial success from works like this has passed. Who knows what is to come. We're still grappling with that as musicians and music lovers. Many mistakes have been made and yet, many advances too... that better benefit the artists directly. Much remains to be hashed out. In

...oh, ordering CD's isn't a problem. It's their whole Prime Music thing that they recently totally over-hauled with a new app that works like a 5 yr. old designed it. I have literally thousands of albums on my Prime music and finding the one I want to listen to has become hellishly frustrating. practically little to NO search options in the new app.

...I've never been disappointed with anything that Kerry has put out. If at first any of it seemed not to grab me, it has always done so on repeated listens. For example, the opening song on Kansas's current tour, 'The Coming Dawn', didn't do much for me when I first heard it. Now...it almost always brings me to tears when I hear the passion in it. His writing is superb !

...absolutely H, I've enjoyed both releases so far. Enough Thin Lizzy flavor to satisfy along with their own sound on good tunes. I look forward to hearing this new one. I really do think that they have done a great job of paying homage to Mr Lynott ( and all of the other members of TL )...all while forging their own path.
