can't get myself into ranking the albums.... they all stand out one way or the other (songs, mood, memories from when they came out, hearing those songs live back in the day (91-94), etc.) the first three are probably the faves - tho I don't really like the sound on Lean into it - the songs are great tho. revisited Hey Man recently and after not liking it too much back then I appreciate

I think it's still quite a bummer that they never really featured the last album live - so many strong tunes - only playing one or two or maybe three - that's kinda selfinflicting low album sales, cos people at the shows almost only get the hits & standards (every year....) and they don't even know there's a new album out so why do an album if you are not properly promoting it live? sa

to me that's got to be the Manic Eden album with Ron Young, Adrian Vandenberg, Rudy Sarzo and Tommy Aldridge - esp. 22 yrs later and with much more blues based stuff floating around this is definitely underrated - always loved it - even tho it probably didn't fit the expectations and the year 1994 that well......

it's obviously not cash-grab with only three shows...... and esp. Blackmore's Night constantly selling out shows and still selling decent amounts of album..... Rainbow stopped in 1997 cos it didn't make sense businesswise - and probably other reasons, too......

I usually refer to Andrew's reviews for insight into the albums - the rating for me isn't the reason, why I get (to like) an album or not! I need to listen to it myself....and I know if I like an album or just parts of it...
