24 I'm not snobby about music. I like what I like. If I were a snob some would say I wouldn't admit to liking Nickelback & Status Quo (still don't understand the dissing of these 2 bands).

Good to hear he's taking time out to recover. I'm half glad that AC/DC will continue, but not sure how I'd feel with someone else playing rhythm guitar. Hope they can find someone in the family perhaps?

The record label *ucked up the release of Euphoria and the lead single, Promises by (if I recall correctly) releasing them the same week. Dumb arses! Then they release potentially the least radio friendly song, Now, from X. Bunch of turds (record label that is)

So true. I really like Guns N' Roses, Status Quo and Oasis, but Axl, Francis Rossi and Liam Gallagher are either tools or miserable gits.

Avril Lavigne (album 1 & 2 superb. Album 3 = shite. Album 4 and 5 a mixed bag but generally very good). I will not buy album 3 but have bought the others. Status Quo - a lot of shite in the 80s and 90's but I've got em all. Never play the covers albums. They re-found themselves from 2002. Extreme - all the albums are good, except Waiting For The Punchline which I just cannot get into -

I'll happily pay £30 to see Extreme no matter what venue they play. Bands and promoters take the p*** when they expect £50-60+ As for Cinema charging £15 - WTF I always go on cheap night or get discounted tickets, so rarely ever pay more than £6 for the film.

Went to see CA2: The Winter Soldier last night. I liked the first film quite a bit. It had a few pacing issues but was an enjoyable Marvel film. CA2 has no issues with the pacing. 135 minutes of pure entertainment with a slightly more complex storyline than it's predecessor. There are parts of the story where you think "that could have been a bit better done" or "they could've

There's no excuse for albums not to be available in mp3 format to buy in this day and age. Personally I like to buy the physical CD and rip it myself (or use AutoRip) but if it's not physically available MP3 is fine for me.

Saw them with the 'original' Frantic Four lineup again. Bloody heavy, raw and energetic for 60+ year olds. One of the best gigs I've ever been to.

Very sad news. Ghostbusters is one of my childhood films and I loved Groundhog Day. As a talent he will be missed and I bet he was as nice as the characters he played,

I love their first 2 albums, especially Laughing on Judgement Day. The timing of their coming onto the scene was not dissimilair to The Little Angels, both had moderate success. I bet if they'd have been around in the early 80's they'd have been massive.

It's sometimes easy to forget there is only 1 guitar player (excluding bass). The guitaring on Decadance Dance is just fantastic.

Reboots are sometimes a good thing. Just look at Nolans Batman films - most thought it was a horrible idea rebooting after Batman & Robin. What about the Bond films. Casino Royale was superb (mind you Goldeneye being Brosnans first was also superb). I do agree, in that most reboots/re-envisionings tend to go wrong. Robocop is next, hope that is good. Did you know The Ten Command
