Ok, strictly not Melodic Rock, but they are melodic and sometimes veer towards rock (especially live). The Corrs are back together and playing Hyde Park 13th September. Also recording a new album. Always loved The Corrs music.

I never understand why some bands leave their strongest material and put some of their weakest out as singles Case point: Def Leppard, "Now" being released as the 1st single for X. What a boring song that is. Long Long Way To Go should've been the leading single with perhaps You're So Beautiful, Scar, or Cry as the 2nd

For me Dracula (the first film that ever scared me) and The Man With The Golden Gun - Scaramanga was an excellent villain.

Just curious if anyone knew if Loud Lion would be doing any more new music? I know Die Tough was a mixture of older songs that were compiled together to make an album. I really dig the stuff on that album (even if the sound production is a bit weak).

Entered UK album charts at Number 12. Not too shabby considering the amount of new entries in the Top ten.

Another show I need to catch up on. Been watching Gotham & The Flash (both of which I have enjoyed). Also been watching Person Of Interest (with Jim Caviezel) which is excellent

I really liked Feedback by Rush - short and sweet, more like an EP really. Their cover of The Seeker is scherweeet! Also quite liked Def Leppards Yeah, though it tailed off towards the end.

If you remove the Joe Perry sung songs from MFAD it's much more cohesive :) Reminds me of old vs newer (87 onwards) Aerosmith,

Winter Soldier is still the best of the MCU films. AOU was fun, but a step down from the 1st film.

Shania Twain is and was so fricking yummy As for Bat Out Of Hell, it's sold 14 million in the United States, so just misses that list.

What they need is what Def Leppard got with HnD, a good producer to come in, kick them into shape, write with them and produce a great album. I have their debut and covers albums and Lzzy is a fantastic singer and the band do sound great, but they need some ooomph a melodies (the first album does have some decent tracks to be fair)

Only really started listening to this album. The Thing I Want and The Rain, Ressurection Day - superb tracks. I don't really get excited about new music recently but Wonder Days is a great album

Sambora is the only thing that was "rock" in Bon Jovi - shame he has left. I really hope he gets riffy with any new material as his solo stuff has been a bit too MOR for me.

Al, Indeed would be great to hear. The only let down at the gig was they didn't play Just Like Tiger Woods - I love that song!

I love some of the live albums out there. AC/DC Live (1992), Quo Live (1976), The Dance (Fleetwood Mac 1997), Metallica S&M (1999), A Show Of Hands (Rush 1989) all breathe new life into some of their songs.

Watched Steel Panther at Wembley Arena on Saturday 14th March - wow, just wow! These guys were absolutely fantastic. ~I have seen them before supporting Leppard and had reservations about them performing at such a big arena as headliners. They certainly held the audience in the palm of their hands and are hugely entertaining. I would love them to do a serious rock album (perhaps under a di

Love this one. it's a reworking of their 1973 classic, but the groove is great once it gets going and Francis guitaring is epic. They've been known to do 20 minute versions live in the past. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_seVa9aj4k
