Thunder - Better Man Once in a while I drift in time To a place in my memory that it still hurts to find I was taking on the world with a see through smile But dying on the inside all the while I was dying on the inside all the while Like a martyr that don't want sympathy I locked away my feelings and threw away the key It was gonna take a miracle to pierce my pride And you were the

Would love a new album with a more softer melodic experience to Clockwork Angels (which I loved by the way). The Garden is an incredible song.

- The Corrs - highly rate all of their albums (yes I know not MR) - Rush (many albums and only a couple of dips in quality in the late 90s early 2000s though still some gems on them) - Extreme (ok WFTPL is not my favourite but the other 4 albums are superb) - Def Leppard - I like all of their albums and like more than half of the songs from even their worst album). - Guns N' Roses - I

Indeed. No Rick, No Quo. Been a fan since the late 80's and seen them at least 12 times, including both Frantic Four reunion tours. I won't see "Quo" again without Rick. Time for Francis to retire Quo permanently.

I don't mind "Get In The Ring" on Guns N' Roses, Use Your Illusion II, however, I do mind "My World" - what utter shit from a great album. Shade - I agree with Speechless on In The Army Now - what a turd. The album is pretty good and varied but that song drags it down. Overdose on that album is stellar.

Quite a few Alter Bridge tracks I love, but I was listening to Creed's Weathered album in the car on the way to work and I love that album from start to finish. I also love Slash with Miles - superb. This new songs sounds a bit generic.

I've never followed Europe at all, but I did have a few spins of Look At Eden a while back and it was completely different to their 80's sound. I thought it was very good. Need to find time to have a look at their back catalogue

Whoever messages me, the "Brainwashed idiot" comment of mine was about the presenter converting to a religion. I consider all religions idiotic. It was not aimed at any posters on here!

I like all of their albums. I don't ever play Test For Echo and rarely play Vapor Trails. Snakes & Arrows stand out tracks for me are the instrumentals. Clockwork Angels however is just superb.

bmg, indeed. Good on ELO However, I like a lot of recent stuff (stuff most melodic rockers would call crap), such as Taylor Swift. Still can't get into Adele's new album but I thought 21 was brilliant. Best album of 2015 easily goes to The Corrs & Def Leppard for me. 2 albums that were in the charts for a max of 10 weeks combined!

I can't narrow it to one artist per decade, but going with Rock only... 70s: Queen & Quo 80s: GNR, Def Leppard, Rush 90s: Oasis, Pearl Jam 2000s: Nickelback, Foo Fighters 2010s: No break outs, but liking Tremonti so far.

Just noticed yesterday that ELO's greatest hits album "All Over The World" hit number 1 in the UK last week. Not only has that album been out for 11 years, but it is also ELOs first number 1 since 1981. :)

Sounds alright. Nothing ground breaking but decent enough, the beginning and end riff is cool.
