Never listened to Big Generator before and I loved 90125 Listening to it now and "Shoot High, Aim Low" is superb.

it's all about the atmosphere as well. Seeing a live band is better than just listening to it at home (if you are feeling sociable that is). Seen a few - AC/DC, GNR, Pink Floyd, Yes, The Prodigy tribute bands - all really good.

Saw him in 1991 at Wembley with Status Quo and Joe Cocker supporting. Joe Cocker's backing singers were mighty fine!

I really like Avril Lavigne, her first two albums are great and number 4 (Goodbye Lullabye) was also good (just listen to Wish You were Here) Yeah she does do some crap (Girlfriend, Hello Kitty) but if they get her noticed by teenies who then latch on to the good stuff, then so be it.

I really enjoyed the film and his portrayal as Freddie. The bloke who played Brian was also superb

Brett, I agree. To me Lindsay was the heart of FM even if he was a bit odd at times.

Interesting to hear positives about this as someone allegedly had a sneak preview last year and said it sounded boring. Glad it's being enjoyed.

I really liked VH3 too. I thought some of the songs were great, I thought the production sucked though. Sounded too rough and the drums were shocking.

Yes I was disappointed with the time line, but I just assume they jumped back and forth. Whether they did or not is another matter. Also I under he didn't meet Jim in the way portrayed in the film. Still a good movie though.

I would go to way more gigs if they didn't cost £60+ Tag on travel, potentially hotel and drinks/food and you could be looking at £150-200 (just for yourself). No thanks.

James Arthur, hate that blokes voice (even though his style of music is not to my taste) and he comes across as a prick. If he pops up on the radio, off it goes.

HMV were so mis-managed. They should've taken their business online years before they did and because they were too slow off the mark they were beaten to the punch and became less relevant. Shame really. I used to love going into an HMV and spending hours looking at CD, Video and later DVD releases and coming out with a load of stuff I never knew existsed.

Saw Bryan Adams back in 2014 for the first time as he was touring Reckless in it's entirety. Man that bloke has a superb voice live. Superb show.

It's all in the ear of the beholder, but for me it would be: Freddie Mercury Danny Bowes Paul Rodgers Geddy Lee (I know he polarizes opinion just listen to Limelight, The Garden and Bravado) Andrea Corr Lzzy Hale Bono (early days) Gary Cherone Anni-Frid and Agnetha (Abba) George Michael Ann Wilson Toby Jepson Honourable mentions: Chad Kroeger (yes really), Avril Lavigne, Francis

Wonder if we will ever see a new Extreme album. Hope they go back to more funky fun rock. Saudades was good but also had some filler. I'd love to hear an Extreme album produced by Mutt.

Purple, I've seen Def Leppard 3 times (4th next year) and I agree, whilst the music is great the show is very stagnant - they need something more on stage
