Shade yeah I know what you mean. I will also add Status Quo's "The Power Of Rock" - such a cracking song on a very poor album.

To my ears their albums lacked melody, with the exception of the odd track. Pity.

Shade, we have a similar taste in music - nice list for Quo! Much underrated by those who judge solely on the singles.

I feel the same 2112 is one of my least spun albums. My favourites are Moving Pictures, Power Windows Presto and Clockwork Angels

Addy, don't have it myself, but have heard bad reviews about the live extras as the sound quality is supposed to be poor. If I had to choose 1 Quo album it would be Quo - such a superb album.

Accident Prone was actually a single. Think it only hit 36 in the charts but such a nice guitar sound. My favourite albums are: Ma Kellys Greasy Spoon (1970) Dog Of Two Head (1971) Hello! (1973) Quo (1974) On The Level (1975) Blue For You (1976) Whatever You Want (1979) Heavy Traffic (2002) Quid Pro Quo (2010)

This has hit me more than any other celebrity death. Rick was a true rocker and such a nice bloke too (met him briefly in 1999) I really feel for his kids (especially his twin 8 year olds) - so sad for them. RIP rock. Go and buy Living On An Island on iTunes or Amazon to get Quo back in the charts this week

A shame, but their online content had got farcical. Especially all of the "lets reorder album blah blah from worst to best" Loved Classic Rock magazine though

Funnily enough 3 original members John, Alan and Rick (I still consider Rick an original member as he joined as the band changed their name to Status Quo) are looking at making an album sometime next year!!

They should really call it a day now or rename themselves. It's not Quo without Rick.

Heard the cover of Still Of The Night - a poor effort imo, don't let this put you off exploring their back catalog. Their studio albums are superb. They have done a couple of cover EPs and their efforts on those EPs are much better imo. Edit: I see it's taken from their Re-Animate 3.0 album (2.0 is superb, listening to 1.0 as I type this).

The production on Laughing On Judgment Day is just superb. I don't like long albums usually, but that album is 14 songs of no filler and the riffs are catchy as hell.

I've just started listening to Biffy Clyro to prime me for Download 2017 and listening to their latest album Ellipsis, some sudo-punk songs on there, but "Re-Arrange" - what a cracking song. Love it and "Medicine" another cracker. Seems I like Biffy Clyro when they turn the tempo down a touch.

Be good to see a 51/50 I mean 50/50 tour of Roth/Hagar on vocals. Not sure if the egos could handle that though.

Is that from Classicrock? I had to unfollow them due to their spam on Facebook...."Back In Black - we've reordered from best to worst"....."Appetite reordered from best to worst".... Sloppy journalism

Metallica have always muted the bass. I mean, And Justice For All.....what an amazing album, except for the dire production - absolutely no bass. That needs a complete remix (similar to what happened with Rush's Vapor Trails).

Apart from Aerosmith, underwhelmed by the headliners - they both should be 2nd bill acts. Still going though.

Yep time to pack it in. Francis should just go solo now. No Rick , No Quo. Quid Pro Quo was the last decent album, they should've called it a day then.

Shame Richie is letting the bottle get to him. Feel sorry for Orianthi, I know she is a name, but not a BIG name like Richie and he could be holding her back.
