TBH the whole arena/city hall type music scene is a rip off. Was much better in the days of you all paid the same for your ticket no VIP bollocks or standing and seated different. I haven't now been to a gog in years. Glasgow is the closest venue and its 4 hours away so can't justify travel, hotel and ridiculous ticket prices.

Have always loved Anastacia and always thought I would love to hear her to do rock. Have listened to some of this album on youtube and oh how disappointing. Limp beyond words very disappointing.

It is a shame that there aren't really record stores any more. I miss the days of browsing through the racks and chatting to staff about different bands and albums. Sad fact is though if you can get it for under a tenner at Tesco or Amazon then where are you going to go.

Absolutely loved Bab 5 shame Babylon Crusade never got far. I love Star Trek but Bab 5 was just so much darker and more intelligent never really acheived what it deserved.

Ceremony was 2 of the most painful hours of my life. My God did they pick the shitest artists that they could? Brian May and the Who Fab. Jessie J needs to be stabbed repeatedly in the face with a pair of stillettos sorry bet Freddie was turning in his grave. Got all excited when May came on then felt like killing myself when that useless trollop opened her mouth to scream.

I love Nottingham and spent many a night in Rock City when I lived in England. However Rock City is a shithole these days. Disgusting toilets and no where for us old gits to have a seat. As a city I think Nottingham is a great central place to have Firefest but as a comfortable nice venue for the patrons it sucks. Forgive me if this was previously discussed but I have been away from this site for a few years. Have to say I was so apprehensive when I hear Mark Ronson was producing this album. I was very pleasantly surprised a nice return to their roots after some disappointing albums. So anyone else love this or am I on an island on my own?
