Nice review, many thanks...but you forgot the part where I fell during the 2nd verse of Stone In Love due to the VERY slick surface we used on stage that if even a drop of liquid got on it, it would became an ice skating rink, imagine the full on rain we got that evening! I eventually realized taking off my shoes and doing the show in my socks kept me from sliding to and from, what a night though

There's a lot of diversity mixed with a heavier attitude with this new band which is why its a 'band' and not solo album...WET doesn't sound like my JSS stuff which is separate from Talisman which is why it deserves it's own legs. If I changed my course as a solo artist, there is the confusion factor, all I am doing here is heavy-ing it up and branding it as a band so as to keep it separate from

Sadly it only sells about the same amount as the folks posting on this thread...most don't remember, I started my career as a heavy metal singer, remember Yngwie, Kuni, Axel...changing styles? No, it's all part of my life, AOR, funk, metal, to me it's all a way of life and right now, I want to rock more than I want rock....HARD!

Same reply as the other inquiry, I don't do bookings, I sing...when my peeps go seeking gigs, they find interested parties and book them, thats the only answer I have really.

I did a 45 minute MNG after a show in Barcelona once, 2 fans took about 5 shots a few times in between others...as I exited the area heading to a bar across the street to unwind until it was time to leave, the 2 uber fans asked for another pic. After declining because I felt they had more than enough, the girl starts getting pissy about me being an asshole, then the boyfriend starts getting p

I dont wanna fire my load now before you get to hear it, I hate as much as most of you here, when something gets major hype and talk, months later after all the discussion, anticipation and guesswork, the boner drops to the ground as not much in life meets hype and build up :) Doing something I love, I've got a lot to be angry about and this music/band will be that outlet, its my version of a

Jeff Scott Soto is my branding more for the AOR/Hard Rock side of me, the JSS moniker is one I used to brand the funkier, soulful side and not meant to be excepted on this board...SOTO, which is supposed to be all capitol letters, is a 'band' and the reason very little info is given here is because we're not ready to throw it out in spurts until you get the full scope of it...the name signifies a

I agree with Tommy, WB is a great tune regardless of the image makeover, there are a plethora of artists who have great songs (ahem WET) but wont get worldwide acclaim like Miley is getting but she's willing to carve her way out of Mouse-land so more power to her! I dont have a single issue with her looks, voice or career decision, if I did, I would tune it out like the multitude of things I

Exactly...anyone talking about Tiffany or Debbie Gibson these days? Britney with no voice or talent, Christina and even Alanis buried their kid images just to be taken seriously...and getting a media blitz is what every artist needs to be known, for better or worse! The Jonas Brothers are DONE because they avoid controversy, their fans have grown up and now listen to Bruno Mars or 30 Seconds To M

Keep in mind guys like Lemmy and Keith Richards were once clean cut and role models...eventually you have to break out of the Disney shell and be a normal adult...one cant make a career out of being the little angel the Mouse created...unless you're Annette Funicello but then again, how many hit singles did she have after the Mickey Mouse club?

I don't blame him at all, some people speak with a filter, some need one and some are taken out of context when they meant something else...I read it exactly as I assume he meant it, I too would have by now felt the frustration of singing Dont Stop Believing every year for 5 years had I remained in Journey. I am sure even the paycheck would have left me feeling like I was creatively stifled espec

Its the year of the veteran supergroups...well started with BCC really but Winery Dogs gave it the next pinch and now this, I love Dug's voice and the others here are monsters, I KNOW this will be my favorite work Mr Lynch is on by far...I wonder who's next in trio-world collaborations!

You're gonna hate my new album Laurent...it is not just heavy, it is very heavy...still melodic and very much me but its yet again, in another place in my soul...next year is my 30 year anniversary so the next release will be celebrated with an outing that I merely tapped into with Damage Control...like BM, I dont expect a lot of support on this site with it.

The song is very listenable, Eminem is one of the few I can listen to and enjoy in this genre, love that he uses Classic Rock in context of his tunes even though many have already done it before, I love MM's lyrics and flows...sorry, I know this is a melodic rock site but I love many things outside the genre of what I do personally.

If the musical We Will Rock You is any indication of how the legacy of Queen has been extended, I gather a Freddie biopic would end up like the movie Rock Of Ages if left to the 'protectors' of FM's legacy...I dont think we're interested in that! And good for Cohen in standing his ground, I knew I liked him as an actor and creator of controversial parody but you can see he also stands for tel
