Holyanna on Toto's Isolation, although hate is too big a word. I really, really dislike that song, and it seems awfully out of place on that rocking album.

I find myself going back to the debut a lot. Second one is ok, but I hardly go back to it. Pretty sure the guys will deliver another quality album, but indeed some more changes in pacing of the songs/style would be a good idea. As much as I love the first album, I often think "hmm, didn't I just hear this same song? Mainly because the intro's are sometimes a bit similar. But regardless

Fred, Will this be the lineup for the new Vandenburg album too? The other three guys were equally as big a part of the band Vandenberg as was Ad. Regarding the song, disappointing indeed. Hoving can do much better and even the guitar solo is far from the 'Adje' we've come to love in the 80's. The song sounds like something that was thrown together in an hour. Why don't the 4 origin

I remember the band mentioning that Simon was Jeff's favorite drummer at the time and that it would have been his choice to go for Simon in such a situation. I'm a big fan of Simon and while I do appreciate most of his work in Toto I still prefer to listen to Jeff's take on the songs. Simon grooves indeed, but it's a different groove from Jeff's and I much prefer the latter. Simon I like be

It does matter a lot. Actually I'm just starting to think about the running order for my upcoming record, and it's something not to think lightly about. Just like with my previous album I take all songs with me in the car, put them in shuffle mode and while driving I get a feel of what songs work side by side. That works best for me. Especially the opening track is important to me personally.

Agree with Mick there. It's a tad too high so you have to stretch which sounds forced. Tune it a half or a whole down and record again. You have a good voice, but not really for AOR/Melodic Rock. And you look nothing like Perry, but that is a + :-)

Danny is busy with recording, producing and mastering for others. We are both endorsers of ABG (AcmeBarGig) software guitar amps, so I talk with him frequently. I'll ask him to get his ass back to the noticeboard ;-)
