Because they are facts. Some people clearly have a problem with reality and objectivity. I don't get upset by the fact that tons of bands that I love don't make much money anymore - just like Great White. It's not a personal attack. It's like you want to live in a fantasy world where you believe you're rock heroes are still living the rock star life and can actually afford to like it's stil

Yes, you are right. The guys in Great White are rich and make a ton of money. Each member walks away with a huge bankroll - thousands of dollars after each show. Mitch Malloy hasn't eaten better in his life. What's funny is that you probably believe that. Keep the delusion alive.

LOL. You proved my point for me. Duff McKagan went BACK to school after being a high school drop out. A high school drop-out, McKagan enrolled in a basic finance course at Santa Monica Community College in 1994; he explained that going over the financial records from his Guns N' Roses days had made him want to understand the process more, stating, "I couldn't make sense of it. I didn'

What is comedy is that it's somehow a revelation to you that most musicians at BEST finished high school and many dropped out. From A to Z of all the bands we love from the 80's. The exceptions are few and far between that they are educated like a Gene Simmons. Did you actually think the guys in Great White were going to university as they were also trying to build a following a get a record d

LOL. You have issues. There is no REAL demand for tons of bands, but they can still put on a show and have people show up. That doesn't mean it's financially sustainable and they don't need to paint houses in their off time to make ends meet for example. The last few Great White albums have sold dick even by today's sales standards. Even Oz Fox recently said that he doesn't make much mo

Has absolutely nothing to do with not liking them. Jeez. So fucking sensitive if any objective comment is made. I will leave the thread, so your day won't be ruined any further.

No, my definition to real demand does not only apply to huge arenas. As I said before, any 80's band can get a club gig or state fair gig and have a couple hundred people show up. That's not real demand and isn't paying the bills. I cannot understand how this is going over your head. There is real demand for Whitesnake or a band like Tesla opening for Def Leppard. There is not for Gre

There is nothing VAGUE about it. They don't sell enough albums or concert tickets to really sustain a career at this stage. Anyone can play a state fair typically with other BIGGER bands. If you can't understand what REAL demand is, then I can't help you. No major band is going to book Great White as an opener, because it will help ticket sales.

No REAL demand. Yes, every 80's band can still put on a show and a few people show up - but it's certainly not paying the bills to any great degree for the members of two versions of Great White.

I don't agree, especially when there are two Great White's out there. There is no real demand for either versions and Mitch Malloy certainly isn't going to be a game changer for them.

Anyone over Malloy. Someone with a bit of edge or grit to their vocals and not so white bread vanilla like Malloy. Honestly it doesn't really matter, because Great White are done no matter who is singing.

TOTALLY wrong for the band. Would have been wrong for Van Halen as well. His vocals are white bread - nothing interesting about his singing at all.

According to Keith Olsen, it became a case where Adrian's work just wasn't good enough, especially after the band also dumped Vivian Campbell. Olsen isn't disputing Vandenberg's ability, but it just wasn't the right "fit" for Whitesnake as they were trying to make an incredible follow up to 1987 when it came to songs and the guitar playing. Olsen states in the interview that he call

Producer of Slip Of The Tongue - Keith Olsen said that the whole hand injury thing with Adrian was a lie. It will be interesting to hear the album with his guitars on it now though.

Perhaps you need to increase your reading skills if it actually took you longer than a minute to read that - never mind 4 minutes. :) I didn't write it. I just copied and pasted the info.

Trailer for The Hour of the Wolf: Adje https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjjzxyZkEk8 The down-to-earth Vandenberg is hardly impressed by his success. He experiences everything in his own way: with humor, aversion to egos and everything that is fake. He lives in Enschede where he finds the peace to paint, compose and skate. Adrian Vandenberg founded the band Vandenberg in 1980, with which h

There is nothing that anyone can bring to the conversation when you are talking to a bunch of sensitive people, who take it as a personal attack when you mention the universally known fact that Nickelback is one of the most hated bands ever for reasons that have been explained endlessly. It's like you have been living in a coma or you are living in denial - whatever the case, it's a waste of

I am just going to say this - you need to be OBJECTIVE when it comes to the things you like/love. When it comes to anything in life. You need to be able to step back and be able to understand why someone else or why a ton of people think what YOU like sucks. It's not personal. Don't take it as such, but you should be able to say - ya, I can see their point even if I like it anyway - from band
