I watched this as well and thought the same. I also wondered if there was a 'band' behind the scenes doing the necessary.

For me Ten is top of the list. Now don't get me wrong, I own pretty much everything they've done but...I just can't get excited by them. Others include Aerosmith Extreme The Carpenters ( I hate them with a passion) Grunge in general The Eagles (although prepared to work on this) Rolling Stones

I have been following these guys for while and have both EPs they released. So pleased for them that they have been signed by Frontiers.

Would love a ticket for the the last show in Birmingham but I reckon I have two hopes, Bob Hope and no hope by the time the various agencies get their hands on them.

Everything up to 'Beneath the shinning water' for me. I quite like some the songs in the more Celtic style.

I know what some think of Facebook but it is a good way to stay in contact bands activities. This from the Unruly Child page.... 'Good Things are happening in the Unruly Child World! After listening to the Unruly Child collective of friends and fans, we thought it would be a great idea to get "Down The Rabbit Hole" released as a physical CD. Our good friends at Frontiers Records a

Well with the releases we've had so far this year, if the second half is half as decent then the year end list is going to be very tough. Anyway mid year list in no particular order Nordic Union - s/t Rick Springfield - Rocket Science Reckless Love - InVader Sixx:A.M. - Prayers for the Damned The Defiants - s/t Treat - Ghost of Graceland Shiraz Lane - For Crying Out Loud Ricky Warwick

Both great albums but I guess I have listened to Alias more and therefore Alias for me.

I think they have done really well with this line up especially considering the venue has a reduced capacity thus limiting the funds available for bands. Fortunre, Lionheart, The Defiants and Steelheart are all bands I'm looking forward to seeing. Of course there are others that i would have liked to see (realistic names I think such as Honeymoon Suite, Glass Tiger, Kick Axe etc) but maybe nex

I have plenty of time for Killer Dwarfs, with Big Deal and Dirty Weapons both faves.

Easily their best release. For having the Harem Scarem boys involved has helped them massively imho. Regarding the vocals they are a little more restrained on this release and all the better for it. Hopefully this is the launch pad onto greater things for them.

Is there any other reason that they would be doing this for? Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Dokken at Rockingham as they delivered exactly what I was expecting, but I really can't see anything too special coming out of this reformation, although I hope I'm proved wrong.

I would agree with Andrew and for me the Sunstorm disc is the weakest of the latest bunch of Frontiers releases. There's a lot out there at the moment though. Ted Poley The defiants Treat Epic Chris Ousey Vega Depends on your personal taste I guess.

Well love The Defiants and Vega discs (Early days but possibly my favorite Vaga disc). Ted Poley literally arrived from Japan a couple hours ago so yet to spin. As far as I'm concerned it's been a good year so far with only Sunstorm falling way short and being very vanilla and blah.

Well good luck Matt, Hull probably favorites but who knows when it comes to the Play Offs. Being an Exeter fan was fortunate enough to loose first year we got there then return following to win promotion.

Lionheart are an UK band and featured non other than Dennis Stratton, once of Iron Maiden no less. It is a great album though and pleased they have been announced to play Rockingham in October.

I was looking forward to this one but concerns over the comments I'd heard about the quality put me off and now this leaves me even less likely to pick it up in a hurry. Shame as I love what Rock Candy did with the debut album.
