Firstly apologies for a slight hijack of the thread but sort of connected. I've taken the plunge with JewelSleeve.com from the USA for their plastic CD storage sleeves, mainly due to space restrictions. I was wondering was if anyone has used them from the UK. I ordered around 5 weeks ago and yet to receive them. Can anyone advise on average delivery times from the US to the UK?

I was very much of the opinion that was that when Fish left, then it clicked. Love both pe

Not sure if it's my set up but the front page news stories appear a little mixed. Xtasy has the Trixter video link and Kiske/Sommerville has Heaven and Hell.

At last Rage 'Run for the Night' is being released by Rock Candy along with their other titles 'Nice n Dirty' and 'Out of control'. Titles due 18 May. About time RC got back to doing what they do best and releasing some of the more obscure titles out there.

I meant to say, don't know if it's me but the link just looped round back to the M.R front page. Visited directly through pledge music but think I'll wait for the normal version which will be cheaper anyway.

I find if you are asking for help or information on here always wise to start your post "I've had a look on the internet but...". It makes some feel important. Don't let this put you off.

I see little wrong with this performance compared to the other show. Ok he should lay off the high notes but on this performance I'd stump up to see them.

With the current strong pound try some of the European sites such as Music by mail and AOR Heaven, links on front page. Great service too. I use Amazon but believe it or not my local HMV in Exeter has come up trumps on more than one occasion and actually cheaper than online retailers.

Guiffria being announced with or with out Gregg sealed the deal for me with tickets purchased and hotel booked, . Autograph pulled it off last year at Firefest as did Touch (to a lesser extent) without all original members so I have no issues with this.

As per the news on the front page, sad news about Bruce Crump's passing. He has left a fitting legacy with the new China Sky release. R.I.P

Even Wembley arena for what is essentially a joke act is impressive. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy their music but such a waste not doing a serious album. Pays the bills though.

Recent examples are H.E.A.T and Edens Curse and some of the Firefest releases The ones I will always return to though are Saxon - The eagle has landed Iron Maiden - Live after Death Scorpions - World Wide Live AC/DC - If you want blood. As mentioned, there some of us look at the post and see if there is anything to add to the conversation, if not then why post. The board has suffered in the past from far too many who felt the need to post for the sake of it.

OK I know i'm strange but you can beat the smell of a new CD booklet. Artwork can still work on smaller scale if done well, Magnum, Ten, Arc Angel and there is something rather compelling in the simplicity of the Care of Night cover. As for Digi pack then BSR works really well. However the new Eclipse looks cheap and quickly put together, thank god the music saves it.

I would recommend keeping an eye on the Frontiers web site and Facebook page after the festival. I picked up last years limited release direct from them. Of course I appreciate this has more sentimental value thank the compilation last year but i think there will be spare copies floating around.
