Is there any other reason that they would be doing this for? Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Dokken at Rockingham as they delivered exactly what I was expecting, but I really can't see anything too special coming out of this reformation, although I hope I'm proved wrong.

I really haven't given this the attention that it deserves. First listen i thought it really wasn't as bad as people said.

I would agree with Andrew and for me the Sunstorm disc is the weakest of the latest bunch of Frontiers releases. There's a lot out there at the moment though. Ted Poley The defiants Treat Epic Chris Ousey Vega Depends on your personal taste I guess.

Well love The Defiants and Vega discs (Early days but possibly my favorite Vaga disc). Ted Poley literally arrived from Japan a couple hours ago so yet to spin. As far as I'm concerned it's been a good year so far with only Sunstorm falling way short and being very vanilla and blah.

Well good luck Matt, Hull probably favorites but who knows when it comes to the Play Offs. Being an Exeter fan was fortunate enough to loose first year we got there then return following to win promotion.

Lionheart are an UK band and featured non other than Dennis Stratton, once of Iron Maiden no less. It is a great album though and pleased they have been announced to play Rockingham in October.

Did Andrew have a good attendance for his show, I hope so as bands such as Eclipse are not to be missed.

Bloody excellent stuff, anyone know anymore about him? OK quick scout around (almost felt like a stalker) but seems he's from Scotland.

I was looking forward to this one but concerns over the comments I'd heard about the quality put me off and now this leaves me even less likely to pick it up in a hurry. Shame as I love what Rock Candy did with the debut album.

From those clips I feel this will not be as much as disaster as some feel it might be!!

QuoteRocknut You're obviously not familiar with Gunship. On the contrary, I'm very familiar with Gunship and their album from last year, again a very good synth pop band. There's definitely a renaissance for synth pop occurring.

If you like this, check this link out. His previous releases have been very much in the 80's synth pop realm but with the latest release he's moved very much in to AOR territory. And no the guy behind this is not from Scandinavia but New York! http://magicdance.bandcamp.com/

Notice on AOR Heaven web shop that Brighton Rock have their studio albums re-released and remastered. Checked the bands website and little info on there. Anyone heard any of them yet? Any good?

Mixed emotions about this as I was hoping Voodoo Hill would push on after last years album 'Waterfall' which was up there with best of them, at least for me for me anyway.

I don't mind Digi packs if they are done well. Some of the Inside Out labels are perfect as they come with a hard back almost book like covers. Some of the Frontiers releases are a little light weight and flimsy though.

IF you're on Facebook (appreciate not everyone is) they have regular updates with regard to the progress of their new recordings.

Disappointing for sure, he went down really well at Rockingham last year too. Not sure I'll shell out for this due to the amount of quality new product that's coming out.

Living Brian Johnson back in AC/Dc Dan Huff to get the Giant thing going again Sammy Hager and Mike Anthony back in VH Those no longer with us Bon Scott back in AC/DC Jimi Jamison (along with Mr Peterick) back in Survivor. Richard Wright and Rick Chadock so White Sister could deliver that killer 3rd album.

I recently went to see Sham 69 and can only say it was wwaayy too loud. Obviously covering up for their inadequacies. As for rock bands the only one that really comes to mind was that car crash performance that was Baton Rouge at Firefest, off day possibly but no less disappointing.

I picked up a second copy (as once again the royal mail failed to get my copy to me dry) and it certainly is a good read. Only charged £4.99 in WHSmiths as well.
