For me Stryper and Michael Sweet are the most consistent bands/artist out there at the moment. Have done very little wrong in book recently. Really looking forward to hearing the whole album.

For me it was Sweet - Sweet Fanny Adams. A next door neighbour was into rock and he lent me a tape of this and a copy of Van Halen S/T. Neither left my tape deck for months....The rest is history. Ok there's two in there but I don't think anyone noticed.

Ok, so I've lived with this since it was released on Friday and probably half a dozen spins in, and well....it's not as bad as I first thought it was going to be. Don't get me wrong, it's not 'Steel The Light' or even 'When the Mirror Cracks' and it's unlikely to win many awards this year, but something about it keeps drawing me back. Opinions?

I have paid over a £100 for one CD just to complete the collection. Lion Dangerous Attraction cost circa £80 for a near mint Japanese copy with OBI and bonus track. The three Wrabit albums all cost around £50 each for again near mint Japanese versions with OBI strips. There are a few others and also a few bargains. I note someone paid $60 for Lionheart's raiders of the last Ark, I o

Yep like this, certainly clicks with me. Anyone know if there is a physical product as not partial to buying thin air with a tune.

This is an artist I wouldn't normally give a second look at but this thread piqued my interest...And, having listened to samples I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. To these ears there's a bit of a Tori Amos feel, like it.

They certainly are very good. Had a four track ep out which I sadly missed out on, but their debut full album more than makes up for it.

I watched this as well and thought the same. I also wondered if there was a 'band' behind the scenes doing the necessary.

For me Ten is top of the list. Now don't get me wrong, I own pretty much everything they've done but...I just can't get excited by them. Others include Aerosmith Extreme The Carpenters ( I hate them with a passion) Grunge in general The Eagles (although prepared to work on this) Rolling Stones

I know what some think of Facebook but it is a good way to stay in contact bands activities. This from the Unruly Child page.... 'Good Things are happening in the Unruly Child World! After listening to the Unruly Child collective of friends and fans, we thought it would be a great idea to get "Down The Rabbit Hole" released as a physical CD. Our good friends at Frontiers Records a

Well with the releases we've had so far this year, if the second half is half as decent then the year end list is going to be very tough. Anyway mid year list in no particular order Nordic Union - s/t Rick Springfield - Rocket Science Reckless Love - InVader Sixx:A.M. - Prayers for the Damned The Defiants - s/t Treat - Ghost of Graceland Shiraz Lane - For Crying Out Loud Ricky Warwick
