Waiting patiently for the Japanese release to arrive, and more importantly whether I get hit for import tax this time.

Totally agree about the vocals on the new Vandenberg's Moonkings. Really spoiling my enjoyment of this release. Musics great but those vocals...I'll try and live with it a little longer.

I have no complaints about Rock Candy releases at all, pretty much on the money every time. The recent Dokken releases have a new lease of life, and as for Tommy Shaw's Ambition, WOW. Can't really fault the few Yesterrock releases I own either.

I'm sure the guys from Firefest here in the UK will confirm this, but if it wasn't for the fans flying in from overseas then Firefest would be difficult, if not impossible to put on. I know there's a large Spanish and Italian contingent that attend every year. As for whether the Frontiers festival will be a success difficult to say but with that line up if should be.

I'm sure that I read somewhere that Rock Candy were picking up these, but then again I could be wrong.

Just received an update regarding the Johnny Lima CD My Revolution and the disappointing news that there are no labels willing to pick up the standard 11 track version for release. Crying shame as this really is a top notch CD and his best so far, anyone that hasn't heard this yet really needs to change that ASAP. Considering some of the dross that gets released it's baffling.

I'm biased, but have Shy ever produced a stinker of an album? Perhaps some near misses but on the whole all have something about them.

I paid under £8.00 for mine from Amazon as ordered last year when they went up. Looking forward to them for sure. Also Speedway Blvd has me hoping they drop through the door soon.

What it does show is that this man NEEDS to be at least considering releasing some new music soon. As much as I love the current H.E.A.T line up I do miss Kenny's voice.

Leftfield, nice post I guess what I was trying to say is that the effort put in could be more rewarding when you come up with that jewel of a release, unlike today where I don't need to leave the house and can discover new music with little or no effort. There were times when the chase was better than the catch, but it could still be fun. As the negativity comment, well no negativity at al

How about this for an idea.Remix both White Sister albums and include a bonus disc of the demo tracks, similar to the Escape specials they did for FM/Sugar Creek/Orphan etc. I remember that the W.S guys weren't happy with the Rock Candy reissue so this might be a way to regain some control.

Would agree with Stryper. Outside of our genre i would go for The Computers or Public Service Broadcasting

Managed just fine thanks to Kerrang and especially Metal Forces. The adverts for Shades were the key to many discoveries too. The internet has taken away some of the fun and effort one would put into discovering new music too.

This may totally get me shot down but this case along with the two on trial for the the Lee Rigby murder are as good a case for a return of capital punishment to the UK as any.

Trouble is I'm still playing Stryper, Seventh Key and Arc Angel pretty much on constant rotation, will have to squeeze the Royal Hunt disc in somewhere. For me not as instant as the last album, and agree about more shorter songs. One I shall be working on over the festive break. very Good with potential for great.
